Fairview camping area is nice most of the spots are drive thru easy parking we had spot 19. The only thing is the picnic are is deeper in not by your trailer. The area is clean and the bathrooms. They have men and women bathrooms no running water inside. They do have water spigots around the camp including fresh drinking water. No showers. No cell service. Really quiet area the stars at night are awesome you can see them dancing the Milky Way. The camp host was only there one night we came the second week of November. You can fish right behind your campsites. There is a store next door. Other than that you are pretty remote. Oh you will see some fighter planes flying by like 3 or 4 times a day very loud.. but pretty cool to watch.

There are many campgrounds along the road. This one is particularly nice because it's far enough along the toad that it weeded out the "crowd." I noticed many in the lower elevation where you would clearly hear each other and have no privacy. Also, it's across from one of the hiking trails; so convenient! We had camped with 2 other families and found Campground 11 was the best site of the right side of the campground. It's caddy corner to the bathroom & water spigot, touches the river, and has plenty of flat area for tents. My kids both got theirs near each other, we had a giant rock which I realized after the spikes went in. Whoops. I'm unclear when trash is cleared but the dumpster was overflowing when we left on Sunday. Campers from the left side of the site were coming over to throw their trash away. The bathrooms were disinfected & TP refilled. All in all the ladies was always clean. I'm not sure WTH was going on with the Men's side, but I had both my boys using the Women's for cleanliness.1000 stars for barely any bugs. Is it because it was early April or because of the river? Even the bathrooms barely had any flies.- Large single stall glorified portapotties- Water Spigot- Trash and Bathroom maintenance - Enclosed campfire & grate for cooking- No showers- No sinks

The camp host Mauricio is arrogant, entitled and hostile when criticized. He smells like Marijuana so I thought he was cool, but no. He was not. Two mornings in row at 7:30 am sharp, he drove around the campsite loop with his dog "alarm barking" the entire time. A dog that was never kept on a leash as required by campsite rules. He woke up my grand baby, my dogs and my spouse. When I approached him about it he got very hostile and defensive and rude. I asked for his supervisor's name so I could file a complaint and I was denied, berated and yelled at for threatening to get him fired. I will be returning because we enjoyed the campsite. But he can f$)k off.
