Exeter Woman's Club

A rare slice of Exeter historic life in a building under the watchful eye of the Woman's Club. The ball room accommodates 140 people un-crowded at round or rectangular banquet tables and chairs. All supplied in the rental contract. A theatrical stage for bands, music productions or head party goers sits at one end of the room. A full kitchen off to one side gives your caterer an ample area to set up and serve. The gated garden area can be used for extra seating or a small ceremony. HV/AC modern status.Call and book early. The schedule is full far in advance.

Love this venue! Updated building, kitchen, original hardwood floors recently refinished in the main hall. Very fun to get creative with decorating. I've rented for several different occasions. The last one we put our bar out back, along with the rented taco truck. Very quaint feel for a bridal shower and even wedding. We had 40 guests for a bridal shower I co-hosted another time. I thought we would feel swallowed up in the big room, but it was comfortable and cozy.

I was planning my mom's 60th birthday party and selected this venue. I remember once attending an event at this location and insisted the event be also hosted here. Terry the property manager was more than accommodating with providing me information regarding the venue (price, availability) and showing. They venue has a full size kitchen, restroom for both male/female, stage, a small patio in the back and a bar area for an extra charge. The venue also offers cleaning after the event for an additional fee. If you are hosting a small event, I highly recommend this venue.
