El Taco Salcero Restaurant

The food is authentic Mexican food. The owner is super friendly and makes sure you are well taken care of. The restaurant is clean and has a great atmosphere.

First off, management changed so whole new menu. Food was good service was good. Owners really cared about how customers felt about their food. Shrimp burrito had rice shrimp and was very cheesy. Not sure what sauce they use with the shrimp but it was ok. My husband ordered the shrimp cocktail and said it had a lot of flavor and was good.

The most authentic Mexican food in town!! Hands down! They changed their menu not too long ago and it's to die for!!, the Mole is highly recommended

I'm Mexican used to eating my moms home made food all the time let me tell you this was 10/10 home made yellow corn tortillas for their tacos. My husband and I were super impressed with service and quality of the food it was amazing! Ps. Horchata water also 10/10

Well we are sitting here right now and ordered 5 tacos and still have not received our food... we ordered at 1245... and now jt is 142 and my wife just got 3 of her tacos and I am still waiting on mine...Not sure why it takes almost an hour for tacos... and people have come in after us and received foodWe like the food but still a to go order has taken an hour and there is literally no one he

If you want AUTHENTIC Mexican food this is your spot! Food does take a little longer but that isn't a problem when you're getting delicious food. They also serve warm tortilla chips and salsa. It definitely helps when waiting for the food. Their Diet Coke is also the best!!The staff is friendly and super attentive. The birria here is the best I have had from any other restaurant!

We came in after a long day at Sequioa National Park, we didn't know what to expect when we came in but our Airbnb recommended them. We came in and we immediately felt the care that the new owners have for the food and keeping people happy. Please try to ignore the bad old reviews. We ordered tacos de asada and al pastor and they were delicious, make sure you ask for the salsa verde it is amazing! I'm Mexican and these are true Mexican tacos.

Stoped and brought 3 tacos @ 2.95 each carne asada. When my daughter brought them to the car I could not believe my eyes. I could hold those 3 tacos in my small hand the only thing on the tacos was little meat and some cilantro. So if you gonna open a business watch what you are serving. I will not go back Neither should others

We (party of 4) dropped by on a Friday with high hopes for this spot as it was our first visit. Expectations were not met! We were the only customers in the restaurant at this time but our server was not very attentive & hung out in the kitchen the whole time; occasionally peaking her head out every so often. We placed our order from a menu that doesn't have ANY PRICES and then waited forever...Come to find out the head chef took off to the grocery store to get the ingredients for our meals! Once plates started to come out.. they didn't make one of the seafood plates we ordered and basically said we didn't order it and didn't offer to make it. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Went in for our first visit, lured by the specials advertised on the front window. Ordered a 5 taco plate for the 2 of us (carne asada, al pastor & carnitas--which were especially tasty) and a bucket of cervezas. The [new] owner was the only one working the tables, but I felt like we had friendly and efficient service. I'll go back for sure...
