Chicken Floutas, Asada Street Tacos, Chips and Salsa! Fantastic Customer Service! He was so helpful and friendly, served our lunch with a sincere smile and the food was AMAZING! The fresh tortilla chips were light and crisp-perfectly cooked The asada tacos were stuffed full of meat and I asked for extra cabbage on both floutas and tacos. The chicken floutas were FANTASTIC! More like taquitos-perfect crunch and tender chicken filling, we munched on tender pickled carrots, fried whole jalapeños and radish slices, and salsas so flavorful. Any wait to go back and try other items on the menu!

Food was great, but be prepared to pay for soda refills, request salsas at time of picking up your food, and no waiter service. The employees walk around and clean up tables, but thats it!! For such a big building and nice patio, too bad the service is horrific. Guess I was expecting more.

I came to El Taco Rico for the Fish tacos. I love fish tacos that are battered, not the Tilapia tacos (gross). El Taco Rico is a great place for tacos and their menu is showcased with photos. Oh yeah I got a chicken quesadilla as well. Only one negative, our food took so long, but oh well people showed up right after the staff taking my order so I won't complain too much. Anyways the fish tacos came with a cream sauce, cabbage, salsa, and battered white fish, I thought cod, but the tacos were so good. And the tortillas were good too. The fish tacos were pretty good, that's all I can say. The chicken quesadilla was very good too. The chicken was seasoned and the cheese was tasty. The food was a not as hot, but still good. We just waited a little longer than we probably should have. Anyways you should eat their fish tacos, you will not be disappointed.

Nice authentic Mexican restaurant. I recommend the Menudo on the weekends. The Menudo was very tender and flavorful.. good for hangover that's for sure... friendly staff.

Positives are large portions and a great condiment bar. The food is less than exciting. Prices are a little high for what it is. No Taco Tuesday specials... what Mexican restaurant does not have a taco Tuesday deal?? Their street tacos are pricey and didn't have much flavor at all. Very little if any cilantro or onion. A hard pass for me.

Best Mendoza in town. Its always fresh n h.the paya is delicious with the gelatin part. We call it ranilla The owner n Tony are always there working hard. Love the place!!!!

I hate to leave this bad review here, but I ended up not enjoying my meal. I wanted some tacos but it was flavorless and was missing salt. Honestly, it was enough to not want to go back again. The service was great and everyone was nice to us tho.

Really good tacos. Spacious interior. Quick food. Nothing to dislike about this restaurant. Such a great option and far superior to the plethora of fast food restaurants nearby.

Highly recommend it if you are in Porterville. The place is small and nice. There are also tables outside in the front if you'd like to enjoy the fresh air.
