El Original Martinez Hotdog

This is what Bakersfield needs! I always tell my husband they should make a hotdog place in town because we have to hangout in Southern California just to visit a place like Pink's or Dirt Dog's. Yes, those places are different versus El Original Martinez Hotdog, but we can clearly see that Bakersfield is growing to bring more restaurants/vendors just like this one.This hotdog stand definitely is family owned and you can see the whole family coming together to run their stand. These types of spots deserve the community because these are honest people trying to make it work. They are super friendly and they absolutely do not skimp. They literally hook it up with all the toppings. What I like about the bacon wrapped hotdog is that the bacon is noticeable and meaty. Other stands/taco trucks that sell hotdogs have the cheap bacon and you don't even know it's there.The stand is not hard to find. It's literally on the side of the road, but you cannot miss it. You know you're there when you see the long lines and all the parked cars. They stay open a little late too. Don't worry, it's worth the wait! The lines go by pretty fast too, so check them out when you guys get a chance!
