Let me start by saying this humble little place has really good food. If you're craving some good pupusas don't look any further. Pupusas are mouthwatering , best I've had in town. There's a lot variety in the menu, a lot of delicious options to choose from, even sea food. I definitely recommend this hidden gem, can't go wrong with the food and great service!

The food is very delicious. The pupusas and the fish are my favorite. The location offers couple different central American dishes so never get bored of the same food. The service from the people there is very comforting and on point. Good place for family and friend

We went here to pick up some items for lunch. We went to the counter spoke to the attendant, he gave us some input and waited till we chose what we wanted. I ordered a pupusa with loroco and a large horchata, and my husband got one with bean and cheese. My daughter got the chicharon pupusa and one with loroco also. They didn't take long to gather our order together with the salsas of our choice. Of course due to covid its just take out orders but Im telling you the food here is great. I can't wait to return to try some other items on the menu. They were so friendly and it was clean. So if you've never tried a pupusa you have got to go here. I'm know you won't be disappointed at all.

Had lunch are 12:30, it was not crazy busy so it was a pretty good choice for a quick lunch. We ordered the shrimp cocktail the salmon and the pan con pollo. I am not a huge fan of shrimp cocktail but this one was killer. It had so much flavor nothing needed to be added on my side. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and tasted like great quality shrimp. I can not wait to go back and get it. I am not a fan of salmon but my fiancé loved his plate. Salmon usually is very fishy but according to him this was not, and was well seasoned. The rice was also super delicious. The pan con pollo is Salvadorian sand which like no other. Filled with veggies and chicken with a side of homemade salsa. A must try.

Delicious popusas. I recomend calling ahead of time to place your order if you are getting popusas because they are made to order and it's a good 20-30 minutes wait. We always call ahead and by the time we go in they are really. There is a small parking area behind the restaurant.

Delicious pupusas! I highly recommend the bean and cheese and pork and cheese pupusas. Horchata and drinks were great, too. We will definitely be back soon.

Went to el Majahual on a recommendation from another Salvadoran, who said the tamales were great. I have been eating masa based tamales made by Salvadorans for 50 years. The standard tamale is flour based, and the flour is firm but smooth, filled with meat and potato, and wrapped in banana leaves. Mine was flour based, but with a red hue, the masa was way too soggy, (I couldn't even finish mine. I threw it away.) There was one tiny piece of chicken in it, 2 thin slices of potato, and was as small as a Mexican tamale. Worse tamale I have ever eaten. Too bad we bought a dozen. The papusa was just ok. Cortido was tasteless and dry, however. They did put little sauce packs in the bag, but it should have been in the cortido. I see there are many good reviews. I think maybe they have never had a proper Salvadoran tamale before. But for me, I will never go back there.
