El Huarache Loco

I love love love this Mexican restaurant every time I come the staff is friendly and food is amazing. My go to is their wet burritos, they are massive with rice, beans, onions, cilantro and choice of protein. Since I'm pescatarian I requested to add shrimp, (this is not on the menu) but they were happy to accommodate my special request. You can definitely share this burrito with someone, since it's so big. The red sauce is my favorite it has a smoky chile taste, more flavor less spice. I also recommend their camarones a la diabla. Their menu and food is very authentic Mexican food. You won't be disappointed.

Read about their shrimp tacos Tijuana style and I had to come. It's not on the menu but an option if your looking for something different. They're pretty simple, crispy sauteed shrimp topped with shredded cabbage, lemon and a chipotle cream or crema, they are fantastic! I have not tried much else other than their beans and rice which were good. I'd highly recommend and will try other dishes. The restaurant is quiet, lots of seating available and the waitresses are quick and kind. Good spot for a meeting as well.

Everything was so delicious. Very authentic Mexican food. We have had their sea food, huarache, and tortas Flavorful and delicious. Nice serving sizes as well. Will definitely return.

Great food! One of our favorites in town besides Hacienda which I've heard are the same owners...

Good food and good service. I always get the ceviche tostada and it's really good compared to other places. The music is a bit loud for my preference but I do take out most of the time.

I'm not sure how anyone can give a negative review about this place as everything was fantastic! The staff were attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the food was perfect. The lengua huarache was the highlight of our lunch and the birria tacos were great, too.

What happened here? New menus, no prices?! That's inconvenient. Went for lunch because I remember this being a gem. The salsa that came out to our table tasted funny, smelled it and it was almost rancid. At lunch? Hope they weren't serving that throughout the day. Asked for another spicier salsa for our chips and it came out without salt! I wasn't very hopeful for the meal after that. Enchiladas were mediocre, huarache had that same bland salsa..... Won't be returning until it has a complete overhaul.

I ordered a tripa burrito that came out to $14.05. What a waste of money. Rice over powered the Tripas. They hella skimped my burrito. Wack AF. Don't buy tripa burritos here

Lovely surprise in this small quaint city with a good amount of Mexican restaurants to choose from. We had the Queso Birria with this thick pieces of meat... we had the carne asada wet burrito with the mild green sauce, camarones de mojo de ajo and fried fish tacos. Also had a side order of guacamole which was also flavorful.
