El Duran Taco Shop

First time here and ordered a torta and it only had guac lettuce beans meat. What happened to the tomatoes n cheese?? lol everything tasted good but this was my first time getting a torta like this..

Not worth it Bought there nachos and really didn't have cheese on them and they used the wrong kind of cheese it's not even nacho style cheese..

El Duran taco shop is one of the best taco shops in California. I was greeted when I first walked in by the friendly employee. It almost feels like walking into a family member's house. That's how friendly the staff is here . Now let's talk about the food. It was hot, fresh and most of all delicious . I will definitely be back to this wonderful taco shop. I wish I could give it 10 stars

The food here is excellent! Their asada is tender and well flavored, the Al pastor is too! I got an asada burrito and it was huge, very filling and delicious! Their beans and rice are delicious and perfectly prepared! They have a great selection of aguas frescas and other drinks as well. The location is new and clean with plenty of booths and tables. You order at the register and then they bring you your food. The tables come stocked with squeeze bottles of green and red salsa, both were delicious and (unfortunately for me) not too spicy. They also have a Drive through window in case you're in a hurry. The restaurant is usually not too busy, so it's nice and quiet.

Walked in a few months ago about an hour before closing, lobby lights were off. Service was okay. The food was alright, lacked some flavor. Didn't feel welcoming inside.I'll keep going to my favorite location in town that's also local owned. I tried this place twice and wasn't impressed either time. I like to support local (I despise big franchises), but the two times I tried it, didn't make me want to go back

So so good! I was in Shafter for work this week and was looking for a spot to grab a bite. This place came up on my Yelp app so I headed over as it was nearby. Girl at the counter was very friendly and answered a quick question or two for me, I went for the carne asada taco combiantion. The tacos were delicious and the salsa they serve you with the food is great as well. Really enjoyed my meal, very flavorful and really reasonably priced. Highly recommend you try it out if you are in Shafter.

Just a couple of great tacos as I passed through town. Clean bathroom, new building, friendly staff.

Stooped by this place for lunch. I have been to a lot of taco places, and I have to tell you this is one of if not the best one I have eaten at. We had the asada burrito and torta. Both were filled and definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend them.

This place is fabulous. Service was really friendly and the food was great. Asada tacos were perfect. And the Taquitos were great too. The restaurant is new and clean. Give it a try!

This place makes some of the best tacos I've ever had. You can tell the pride in ownership in the quality of their food. Highly recommended for tacos. The tacos are so good that it's all I've tried.
