El Chilito

Wanted Mexican food coming home from Vegas. Stop by Bakersfield on the way home and was feeling some Mexican food so stop by this place.This place gets packed. Service was fast and on point. Food was ordered and came out in a timely manner. I ordered the quesabirria and it came out hot and fresh. It was filled with lots of meat. Taco shell was crunchy but a little bland. Add the onion and salsa and it was good. My lady ordered the tostada aquachile. It was huge. Plenty to go around the table. Only complaint about it was a little salty but add the alcohol and it was good. The establishment is lively. Feels like a sports bar with tv around the restaurant.

Chilito gets popping!!! You just need to know what days they have events, like they have days where they do karaoke night. I went on a Friday night and they had a DJ! You get free tostadas and salsa, they were so goood! They're very famous for their micheladas, SOOO good. I love their special micheladas. I also ordered an AMF and boyyyyy was it loaded, it was almost too strong and I loved it. :) The waiters are so attentive, and they even do the scary monja, it's fun and interactive.

This is a cool place on Brundage. We sat inside. I thought the booths were a little uncomfortable, but the service was excellent. We ordered the wet burrito with Al Pastor pork to split for lunch. There was plenty of food here for both of us. Be aware that there are no complimentary chips and it is not served with rice and beans. It did not matter though. The taste was exceptional. Spicy, but not too spicy. And, the meat was extremely tender. There was plenty here. It looks like there specialty is seafood. We just weren't in the mood, but will definitely try them next time.

The vibe was nice, music was good if your Hispanic and like to sing. They have karaoke available. The bartender was fast and cool . Everything was good until the bill came. OVERPRICED, is an understatement. Better off going somewhere else in town. God bless y'all!

The bar was such a vibe, but the food was a letdown. Went during happy hour and ordered the aguachile and ceviche, and the flavor of both was off. Idk what it was, but it left me with a bitter after taste. The quesabirria tacos were dry and did not have enough cheese. Their drink menu is huge but the miche I ordered was a little too sweet for my liking. I would skip the fruit if you want it to taste more like a beer. All in all, just go for the drinks.

Your manager or some one in your team posted a horrible picture of our " shot president Trump with a michelada drink that the red rim around the glass got on his face; President Trump was bleeding. This is a horrible display and done in poor taste. I will never eat in your restaurant. Your ambience is terrible. Your remarks are disrespectful so must be your food- quality terrible

I'm sorry but this place is TRASH! Waste of money. Maybe they should stop making food and just focus on their drinks. The setup is pretty cool, like for a fun hangout and chill with friends. They even have karaoke, but omg, the food just TRASH!!! The menu shows really nice pics you expect to be served, but the portion is so small. The service was okay, not bad, not great. My brother ordered the camarones a la diabla, which just tasted like Chipotle Chiles out of the can. No flavor of onion or garlic or tomato just can chiles. I ordered the shrimp mixed with octopus, crab, fish, and abalone cooked with mushrooms sauce. At first, I was excited to try it, and then I tasted it, and it's so bland, nothing special about it. My son ordered the deep-fried Mojarra, and it was lacking meat lol skinny fish served here. The rice is just awful, with no flavor whatsoever and very oily. The corn tortillas were weird. I tried to eat it and ignore the flavor, but they weren't good at all. The Horchata and the pineapple water were good, though, and this is why I say they should stay away from making food and just stick to making drinks. I forgot the silverware wasn't clean either.

Aguachiles realmente sabrosos. Federico nos brindó un servicio excelente. Recomendado

Everything tastes really good. I ordered the chilaquiles! The waitresses were super fast and very kind. Great ambiance. I love the decor
