IT'S BEEN A WEEK NOW - still did not receive my refund. They kept delaying refund process and kept changing their words. They first told me they would wire transfer the funds last Friday and then on Monday they said they would zelle me the refund. They try their best to avoid phone calls and kept telling you to wait for their call. This company is a total scam.REVIEW UPDATED!The manager emailed me back calling me I seemed as if I was on steroids and said I made numerous order change requests. I made 1 change and made a cancellation after. Please do not reply back with incorrect information and I wish you the best luck : )

The materials from Earth Stone Rock turned out great. The quality and overall performance exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with the outcome of the project and appreciate your team's efforts in providing top-notch materials. I will definitely keep Earth Stone Rock in mind for future projects. BUYER BEWARE! Chris, the owner of this company is a complete piece of work in all the worst ways! I placed an order for rock more than a month ago. Delivery date was set. This has been cancelled on me THREE TIMES either the DAY OF or day before scheduled delivery. At first, i was understanding. Now, I'm convinced I'm being scammed. Chris is money hungry and DOES NOT CARE about his business's reputation OR his customers livelihood. He is here to make a quick buck and he will treat you like crap along the way. The first two cancellations i was very understanding. Things happen. This third time i called to figure out a solution. Chris was not only a compete a** To me via email but on the call he HUNG UP ON ME and told me that he wasn't in the mood to talk to me today. Real nice, as he's sitting on my $1,500. Yesterday, i received an order confirmation for an entirely different kind of rock from what i ordered and only a sample. Not the 16,000 lbs of Del Río pea gravel i placed an order for. Today we were cancelled -- the day of delivery. He had the audacity to treat us so foul when he has our hard earned money. Due to my HOA, we are required to have a landscaped yard within 60 days of moving in. Well, i am officially being fined WEEKLY because of chris. not onlt did he take my money with no service, hes costing me more money. we are taking this right to the Better Business Bureau and will be consulting with legal counsel to pursue a lawsuit if we are not reimbursed fully.It's not surprising he has served time for fraudulent acts before. Just see the proof! He's a convicted thief and he admitted as much. I'll update with screenshots as we dig deeper. This guy cannot keep getting away with this.

Greg was great! Showed us different options of rock to transform our yard to xeroscape! Great customer service..Greg took his time with us and followed thru with us on delivery time etc!! Their selection of rock is fantastic. Lots to choose from. We saved alot of money doing it ourselves. I would highly recommend them for your rock needs!

if you care about customer service on any level, this is likely to be one of your worst or most interesting experiences - that is, if you're unfortunate to work with "Shumaila Kanwal - Sales Manager".She has the complete absence of tact and she emails like a petulant teenager. She also, is either purposefully misleading (will quote or lead you on about a product and price) or entirely incompetent. Given the highly chaotic nature of her disposition towards humanity and her job, my guess is it just simply depends on the day.I wasted days trying to get an order situated with her, despite the ups and downs of "we can't do a deal" "I apologize for my poor customer service - we can do a deal" to "I can't do a deal".

The good: ESR made two deliveries of 4-tons each to my home of bocce ball court material. The material is excellent and the bocce ball court is a ton of fun! The support personnel at ESR were very polite and helpful and worked through some supply timing hiccups in a graceful manner. Thank you to Reyna, Layla, Nikki and Aiman!The bad: Neither my contractor nor my bride will work with Chris again. He was rude and vulgar to each of them for no good reason...all they wanted to do was to purchase materials that ESR presumably wanted to sell. In the end, Chris made it happen, but the road to getting it done was very rough until ESR's support team stepped in.

Very helpful. Prompt response on any inquiry. We purchased 2 tons of 3/8" gravely for our Zen Garden. They were very helpful when dealing with the shipping company. Especially liked the friendly and courteous demeanor online and on the phone. Thanks to all involved.Ken FortuneDurango, Colorado

I ordered some hard to find color of decomposed granite from Earth Stone and Rock. There were able to deliver the order quickly and the material turned out great. The quality of the DG was excellent. I am very happy with the outcome of the project. Thank you for great service and for finding the material I needed.

Probably the worst example of a professional company that I've ever tried to work with. I ordered a "listed product" of 12 tons of red lava rock... on their website. I live in Orange county and chose the delivery choice given on their website. It's now three weeks later and have not received my order. I've called on three different times trying to get answers, but received none. On the third call, I was sent an email saying my shipping charge would be almost X3 of what I was given on the site. Complaining, I asked for them to honor my order as I have workers waiting and some being paid to just sit here, because site says orders ship in 24-48 hrs.Not only did the NEXT email say they would not honor my order.... they cancelled the order all together. This after I waited THREE WEEKS for delivery.After that email, I asked for someone to call me to discus. Chris called and in my opinion did not handle it well. He was difficult and defensive. I hope that if you're a customer reading this.... you'll not want to risk doing business with these guys. I called Sepulveda, and my order is going out tomorrow.
