Donald the DJ

Simply amazing!!!!! We saw him perform at our friend's wedding back in 2014.My fiance and I knew we had to have him as our DJ for our future wedding. We moved our wedding date for him, just to insure that he was our DJ. There is nothing more valuable then having a great DJ. To say the least he did not disappoint!! Great performer and extremely talented at what he does. We had him incorporate Spanish with English music and he did a stunning job. There is nothing this man cannot do with music. His group dances are incredible!! How many DJ's actually give it there all? Not many, Donald is your go to DJ man. Super friendly and easy to keep in contact with. He always has his client's best interest first.

DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! Donald made sure everyone was on the dance floor and having a good time, excellent service and great pricing. We've also been to a corporate event he worked and it was also an awesome time, highly recommended!

This DJ is amazing!!!! He was such a key component to the success of our wedding. We gave him our ideas regarding the desired mood and atmosphere for the wedding. He sat with us during a consultation, he took notes and he reviewed his (huge) collection of music and the various genres (this man can probably DJ any type of event you can imagine given his collection of music). On the day of the wedding he drove nearly 100 miles to DJ our wedding and he knocked it out of the park! He is professional, funny, runs on time / sticks to the schedule and he gave everybody a work out on the dance floor. We had a blast!This DJ comes highly recommended.I wrote him a thank you note:Hey DJ - (My husband) and I were talking about our wedding last night and how much fun we had. We can't thank you enough for all that you did to make our night absolutely perfect. Everyone (you hear me?....EVERYONE) was blown away by your work that night. It was professional, timely and fun! You had the babies, our families, my pastor and my cousin's 90+ year old grandma jammin out on the dance floor. So thank you truly from the bottom of my heart.

Terrible service. We met with him, made a contract and he DIDN'T SHOW UP TO OUR WEDDING!! He had A different guy show up who didn't have the information we gave Donald. He played the wrong songs and stated the wrong names at the entrance of our wedding party. Donnell didn't have the decency to even contact us before or after our wedding to let us know what had happened or apologize for the situation. Would not recommend AT ALL unless you want something else to stress out about at your wedding like there aren't enough things to stress out about already.

I would give this person zero stars if I could, it's been almost one year since we've been married and the horrible service we received still haunts us! He came highly referred to us by numerous people in the Bakersfield area, we met with him and everything seemed a go, we paid our deposit and brought the rest in full to the venue as specified, to our surprise on our wedding day it wasn't him that showed up but someone who he had called last minute to come and DJ our wedding! Did he ever call us to let us know hey I won't be able to make it? no he did not. This was highly unprofessional and the DJ that he had hired mis-read our entire wedding parties names during our entrance ceremony. he had no idea how we wanted the progression of the ceremony to go and played music that we didn't want played, unfortunately we still had to give him the final payment and we had never been contacted by Donald for an apology a partial refund or anything of the sort. Again we are very disappointed and would never recommend him to anybody!!!!

Absolutely the best DJ out there!!! He had every guest at our wedding up and dancing! It was such high energy and amazing fun the entire time! The first thing everyone said was how amazing the DJ was!!

Best DJ ever. He really keeps the kids entertained at Fun Day, at dances, and even the parents hoppin at weddings and events.

Ok if u want ur wedding to be nothing but a good time hire Donald!!!! No joke he was hands down the best dj I have ever heard or seen. I hires him for my wedding and I keep getting flooded with complements on how amazing he was!! He had my dance floor hopping all night, it was never empty!! He had my entire wedding doing group dances like thriller and the motorcycle! Plus working with him up until the wedding was a breeze, he was/is a true professional, I honestly wish there were more stars I could give. He honestly will make ur wedding so extraordinary, hire him!

Had the pleasure of seeing Donald do his thing all the way out in Terra Bella a couple months ago and was without words at the time - hence the delay in reviewing. Guests had an absolute blast, every single person was up and out of their seats... which never happens! I was witness to a hundred person crowd, grandparents included, enthusiastically learning moves to 'Come Get it Bae' - it really was a sight to behold. Perfect pacing, fully interactive, reads his audience well. Great job!

Donald was AWESOME! After the wonderful wedding ceremony, we made our way to the reception venue... he was primed and ready. For the next 5 hours, Donald helped to make the experience memorable. He kept the evening moving with an excellent selection of music, highly participatory dance options, and great humor! When I looked out at the dance floor, I marveled at how well Donald connected to people of ALL ages. He was GREAT!
