This park is gorgeous. There is plenty of space to explore and have a picnic. There is also a lot of great wildlife like peacocks, ducks, and Jack rabbits. This is definitely a picturesque place to relax and enjoy nature. It started to rain the day we went, but next time I'd love to stay and enjoy the outdoors a bit longer.

Tulare isn't exactly the first place you think to when it comes to quality parks. Thankfully, there's one exception in Del Lago Park, an expansive multi-purpose outdoor respite in the middle of one of the better housing developments in the area. We were in town and looking for a place to get some exercise in the form of a long walk. Long walking paths are also hard to come by down here, but a friend suggested we try out Del Lago. After seeing so many parks that were basically nothing more than dead and forgotten drainage basins peppered throughout the city, our hopes weren't high. That opinion quickly changed. The first thing that strikes most is the big, beautiful duck pond with plenty of sometimes aggressive ducks as its residents. There's also plenty of gazebo-like shade structures and seating, lots of benches, a splash pad and playground for the littles and even a tennis court. Just as refreshing was the lack of riff raff in the parking lot and the plethora of families roaming about. The undesirables of Tulare, at least for now, have overlooked this refuge. Del Lago Park provides a vital resource that this town so desperately needed. It's across from a school in a safe neighborhood. If you need a park and you live in the area, this it the place to go.

One of the very few playgrounds available for toddlers in the city. The grounds are soft but starting to look dated. The "shade" is not doing a good job, as you can still feel the sun on your skin. Most slides are already too hot to touch by 9:30a these days. Not too far there's an artificial mini lake but you can't touch the water. I wish they opened the water sprinkles when it's very hot... it would make such a difference. There's also another very small playground for very young toddlers. Overall, it's not very impressive, but considering the alternatives in the area (close to zero), you don't have much of a choice. Water fountains still not working... Love the picnic tables in the shade, though.

I really enjoy this park during all seasons. They have 2 great play areas for the kids, 1 is fenced in and is by the pond, and the other is further down about 100 feet away. On the bigger (non fenced) park, I like that there is no bark, sand or grass for the kids to play on the swings and monkey bars e.t.c. It's like a foam type material on the ground. There is plenty of grass area for the kids or yourself can run on, and the pond you can actually fish at. The surrounding area is very pleasant as well. My son loves this park, I plan on having his bday here in a few months.

Best park in the city in my opinion. It has a toddler playground, a large double sided playground for bigger kids and it sprawls around for probably a mile. It also has a little pond with lots of ducks and other birds. Definitely my go to park.

Okay park to come to if the kids need to expel some energy. They have a nice concrete path to travel around the park on, which is great for running, skating, or biking. Would be nice if they would unlock the bathrooms, or answer the number they have posted on the bathrooms, but really need to give some attention to the hazards forming in the play areas from worn out materials used as a foundation.

Stopped here with our 8, 6, and 3 year old boys on our way up to Sequoia. What is really nice is the playground ia covered by sun sails and the park is located in a nice development. The park has lots of trees and parking.

Beautiful park!! Came here for a birthday party. On my way here I was a bit sceptical at what to look forward to because of the other reviews but it turned out very clean! I did not see any trash and everything was kept up well.

It's a nice little park with tables, sitting areas, playgrounds, lots of free open space. Went to go grab something to eat and wanted to eat outside so I decided to go to this park and it was really nice. Other people were walking, walking their dogs. Would recommend!
