D'Cafe

If you guys haven't tried the ube goodies from D'Cafe then you guys are definitely missing out!!! D'Cafe sells goodies right out of Fil Bake Shop, so you can find the goodies there or check them out on Instagram. It's probably a good thing that this is in Delano and not in Bakersfield because I would be there all the time.It's nice to see Fil Bake Shop expanding. D'Cafe is fairly new, but the baker knows her stuff. I've had my fair share of goodies from here and I think my favorite is a toss up between the crinkle cookies and the newer item which is the empanada ube hayala. The empanada texture is more like bread versus an empanada to me, but the filling is what makes it really addicting.Everyone in Delano has had the lady fingers at Fil Bake Shop, but has everyone in Delano tried the ube lady fingers from D'Cafe? If you have not tried it yet, then you better get it before it's sold out for the day. Just when you thought the lady fingers was the best thing, they one upped it with ube.FYI if you've never been here before then just know they only take cash. Parking is a little bit crazy, but when you get to the front of the line then you'll be greeted by friendly aunties and uncles waiting to serve you warm/freshly baked bread.

Yum! Try it out! New Cafe in town currently under renovation currently selling next door at Fil Bake Shop! A must try for the person with the sweet tooth!
