Cuyama Deli

Stopped by in Cutana on my way to Ventucopa, it's a Caltrans thing. Got a hamburger and it tasted great, recommend stopping here on your way thru Cuyama.

Oh my! I think they may have sold? I doubt the previous owner would have approved of my breakfast!! I stopped in for a fried egg sandwich, I have bought many before! A bit expensive at 10 bucks but always great, burgers were excellent as well. Not today!! Stopped in, asked for a fried egg sandwich, $12.50!! Ok, might be amazing? Bread was barely toasted! One piece of lettuce, one tiny sad egg! A slice of American cheese, and a schemer of mayo! And I was assured of bacon, NO Bacon present!! And I left a tip!! Should have driven back and taken my tip back! Oh, and what's up with the 20 signs saying, NO PUBLIC RESTROOM!! even in the restroom it has 3 signs saying Customers only!! Jeez $$$$ wish I'd taken a picture

Dropped in and got a burger. It was fresh beef and tasted great. The fries were also real good. Now I stop every time I drive thru.

The Cuyama Deli is a great stop--it's clean and consistent! We have enjoyed the BLT, double cheeseburger (giant!), fried Zucchini, french fries and yummy burritos! They are super flexible too when you ask for something a bit off the menu! Call and order in advance--it will be hot and ready! I'll take pics next time!

The Burger Barn is BACK! I can't share pictures because the food was eaten happily and quickly. Burgers, fries, onion rings, BLT, chicken tacos were ALL AMAZING!!! Good job, BB!!!

If you blink your eyes you will miss this place. It's an deli/pizza/ market? Hahahaha, whatever it is look for it. The food is good, but the AC could use an update. The staff are owners I'm sure. If your pass though town which most of us are, stop in and eat something it's well worth the stop. This is the old burger barn.

Stopped in on a Friday when headed to pismo from Bakersfield. So, I'm on a special diet and had packed a meal to reheat while the hubbs was starving for a burger. I yelped this place and was happy we stopped in. Doesn't look like much from the outside but it's clean and the temp inside was perfect for how hot it was outside. The girl at the register was very friendly and didn't bat an eye when I apologized and asked if she can heat my special meal. Hubbs ordered a double cheese burger, no spread, in a combo. Food came out in about ten minutes. Fresh thick grilled patties topped with the standard veg. Fries were fresh out the drier and crispy. Not overly seasoned salted. He rated the entire meal a 7 out of 10 in comparison to other fast food burger places. They also have pizza, hot dogs, milkshakes and Dryers ice cream. Only bad was the men's restroom which I was told was kinda scary.

Burger barn moved to the deli. We went in on the burger side and everything was amazing. I had a bacon avocado burger and it was delicious. The bun was soft and so good. My husband and son got the grilled ham and cheese and they loved theirs. If you are traveling through and need to eat, I definitely recommend it.

Pastrami sandwich was very good fries were crunchy soft excellent service was very good

Food was mediocre at best but to be the only food joint open for many miles and close bathrooms because of COVID!? Ridiculous! Washing hands helps prevent the spread not to mention the importance of travelers' need to pee when in the middle of nowhere. If you can't open restrooms you shouldn't be able to open a restaurant. I always thought restrooms were required in restaurants. Sorry we stopped. Would've been better off pulling off on the side of the road.
