The cafe is located in the lower level of the...I think it's the Wells Fargo Bank. I honestly don't know the name of the building, but if you are searching for Cloud 9 and you find yourself in what feels like a random parking lot you might just be in the right place. My youngest son thought for sure we were lost, but he has one determined Mom espressolly when it comes to finding coffee shops. After parking you'll have to walk through a beautiful lobby and question whether you were appropriately dressed. It's a stunning lobby.Walking through Cloud 9's door is exhilarating. You can't help but feel happy when you enter. The baristas are very friendly. The ceilings are high and accentuates the natural light which floods the cafe. The decor is calming and peaceful. The seating is plentiful and inviting making it a perfect place to chat with friends or work on a project. And they serve Covenant Coffee beans which happens to be a pretty fabulous bean! I definitely enjoyed my cortado.Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

I do notice the reply from the owner, but the other previous owner used Rosa's milk not great value brand from Walmart. They would make their syrup in house I know because I spoke with her and the prices were also lower.I also just prefer the old coffee that the original owner used Since the last time I've gone, I will not go back and I definitely let people around me. Know that it has changed and I don't recommend this place anymore. When I go to a restaurant or a coffee place, I know that I'm paying extra for service but I also care about quality of ingredients and where it comes from.

My best friend and I met up for breakfast at Cloud 9 by Covenant Coffee today. This is her favorite spot to order matcha lattes and I can totally see why!The matcha latte was rich in flavor and its taste wasn't outshined by sugar. Bestie recommends subbing in oat milk and adding sweet cream if you prefer it on the sweeter side though.We both ordered avocado toast and it was very yummy! It was toasted sourdough topped with avocado, marinated artichokes, olives, red onions, cheese, a hefty amount of arugula and balsamic glaze. It was crunchy, vinegary, and fresh.The service was very friendly and the aesthetic is so cozy. The vibes in this cafe are unmatched. It's so pretty in here!

We discovered Cloud 9 Coffee while passing through Bakersfield in search of a caffeine fix and a comfortable place to relax. Tucked down on the bottom level of a business building, this hidden gem has a warm and welcoming ambiance that's ideal for a quick stay or a leisurely respite from the road. When you enter Cloud 9, you will be captivated by its warm atmosphere. It's the perfect place to sit back, relax, and recharge, thanks to its comfortable seating and welcoming ambiance. The service is excellent, and the staff is courteous.Now let's speak about coffee. If you enjoy bold flavors, the macchiato was good while remaining smooth and creamy. If you like cold brew, Cloud 9 has you covered. Their cold brew has a refreshing and smooth taste that will hit the spot. Our kids enjoyed fantastic hot chocolate, which was a tasty treat. Overall, Cloud 9 is an excellent find in Bakersfield. If we pass by again, we will almost certainly stop.

What a beautiful hidden gem! I immediately fell in love with this place. Definitely worthy of 5 stars! The coffee is delicious, service is excellent and the ambiance is cozy! I'll definitely attach photos, but do yourself a favor and go there yourself. Feels like you're outta town and in a beautiful building!

Ever since the change in ownership, the quality and flavor of their lattes have changed dramatically. For example, I went in this week excited they were keeping the tradition live to hold Harry Potter week. I got an iced butterbeer latte and all I tasted was bold coffee. Compared to previous years the flavor is there, but I got nothing. It had no sprinkles or cold foam like last year, it tasted like an ordinary latte. I was very disappointed. The ambience too is just completely different.

Great for a coffee date. Last time I went I really enjoyed my Carmel latte. I chose the brown and white with cold foam for my date, what an excellent drink! We also shared a raspberry pop tart that was suggested by the staff. Thank you Covenant for a wonder experience; I can't wait to go back.

Great mission, great coffee. Every cup helps empower foster youth. Locally roasted, locally impactful.

When I first discovered cloud 9 I became obsessed with their coffee and also how friendly the staff was.Since getting new owners it has changed tremendously the coffee isn't the same anymore a worker told me they had changed the recipe for my favorite drink the "caramel blondie" and it's just not the same anymore. Also the staff isn't the best compared to the crew that worked at Cloud 9. Overall I don't recommend this place anymore my coffee is always so bitter as well.

Sadly the days of the best coffee in town are done! The brown and white is no longer what it once was. In my recent visit the taste has really changed -it was very bitter, I tossed the entire thing after two sips and definitely not worth the price. Additionally- In my recent visit they informed me they changed their system from whatever Cloud9 used. I had a gift card that had about $40-50 left on it from Cloud 9, they told me I can get a drink today and they would take my card from me as they no longer supported them and we could not use them again. Pretty sad to not have some sort system in place to know the balance on these cards to give people what was theirs!
