I always have a great experience when going in to purchase my self defense/hunting equipment from them they make the experience as if I'm not gonna get in trouble by the wife when I get home they'll always have my business aslong as I am near. I can always find the ammo and defense equipment I need, I do shop around there prices beat any other big competitors like in Visalia and Tulare good prices here. Ive purchased 3 guns from them and everything works great and got a good deal!!!

If you need a gun and your wife says no way! Then bring her with you to Country pleasures. Pam will help you pick out a new gun and help your wife pick out something cute and cuddly in the gift shop! Or maybe your wife prefers a new Hot Pink 9MM handgun to protect herself when she's home all alone and your out at the Hoot & Holler drinking! She has that as well and you best be home early. After my 10 day waiting period I left with a new Smith and Wesson M@P shield hand gun and AR 15 and all the cool accessories to trick it out the way I want to! Country Pleasures will keep you coming back for more!

If you want or need a new firearm, this is your place. Pam (the owner) is knowledgeable and about as friendly as they come. She went way above and beyond to make sure my purchase was right. Where 3 other gun dealers failed to take care of me, Pam got me exactly what I was looking for. I thought I had to leave town to find the quality and service I expect, but the best was right here in Porterville. Thank you for such a wonderful transaction and amazing customer service.

I have personally not been into this store yet but my father has bought a few guns from here and said the staff is wonderful and its a great place. Definitely keeping his business and I want to stop in soon .

I bought my first gun here, a Kahr CW9. They answered every newbie question I had. Very polite people. I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely will be a customer in the near future.

Bought two guns from Pam and son Chad,at Country Pleasures just good folks. My latest gun from them was last week..A Henry Golden Boy, H004, .22LR, SWEET. The store has a great Henry Rifle selection, a full range of firearms handled with knowledge and professionalism. .I'll be checking in again for my next one.

Went in a few weeks ago for business and the staff was extremely helpful. They're genuine folk who didn't try and rip us off when they could have.
