Cooper's True Value Home Center

I was impressed when I spent 5 days in town working on my dad's house, who lives in Taft. I went to True Value so many times they knew me each time I walked in. All the employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. They just don't point you in the right direction and leave, but take you to the spot and literally pull it off the shelf for you. Each time it was the same, no matter who was working that day. This owner needs to know he has great people working for them. thank you for making a stressful week a little bit easier.

Best place in town to get supplies to fix issues in the household or Ag supplies for the animals

The only option you have in Taft unfortunately. Place is priced much higher than the other big stores and I feel they take advantage of the fact they are the only hardware store in the town. The selection is not bad but not very good either. Customer service is ok and the people are nice I'd really like them to have more competitive pricing though. If I'm in a rush I go here but otherwise I take the trip to Bakersfield and save the money and see a much bigger selection.

For a small town, Taft is fortunate to have a very nice True Value Home Center. They carry just about everything here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked, organized, and clean. The prices are surprisingly reasonable. For being a small town, I expected the prices to be way higher. Glad to see they were not.Whenever I'm in town, I now know that this True Value Home Center is a good place to go to for my hardware needs.

Love this hardware store! I grew up in Taft & though I live here no longer if I ever need any supplies I know to ,head down to True Value. It's locally owned (which is huge for me), the service is friendly and the prices reasonable. Their garden trinkets are fun to explore and there's much more here than simply construction supply. It's important to buy local- save your gas $$ driving to the Field of Baker and shop at True Value!

I come here mostly with my dad. He loves it, he finds all the tools he needs for his mad science projects....i mean his construction work.

Being in the design/remodeling business I could not live here without this wonderful, family owned business and what a wonderful family it is! They are involved with some, um ... progressive ideas to the small berg. Yes, the prices might be a little higher but consider the 50+ mile drive to the despot and it's well worth the 5 min drive and helpful assistance from the staff. And, as a side note for supporting local business, Eric Cooper goes above and beyond to help our local animal rescue group every way possible.
