The place was quite cozy, not very big but it was comfortable. They have outside seating with heating lamps if it gets crowded, luckily it wasn't too bad when we went. The food was good and they had a really big selection of wine. Unfortunately our first few picks for bottles were already sold out but the server I think his name was Dylan was very accommodating. He provided excellent service and anticipated what we might need before we knew it. That kind of service definitely elevated the experience and we will definitely be coming back. The wine we had was pretty good and we finished the bottle. We made it in time for brunch and the food was tasty. My wife really enjoyed the baked bree. Great place for a date or to just relax and enjoy good wine and great service.

What a waste of a Valentine's Day. Our reservation cost $80 for a table for 2 at 7:15. We promptly arrived at 7:05 and checked-in. We expected a slight wait because let's face it, it's Valentine's day, but what we didn't expect was a 3 hour dining disaster. First we were sat at the bar to await our table, as those dining before us were still enjoying their meal. While waiting at the bar, there were three young workers drying glasses and talking rather loudly about their day right in front of us as if the people dining at the bar didn't exist. It was not in the least bit classy, feeling courtside at the sink of dishes. We were at the bar for 45 minutes when another couple came in the door and were promptly sat at a table, our table. They apologized for "forgetting" about us. We were then offered to share a table with another couple... that was a hard pass for us. So we continued to sit at the bar with the dish dryers. Another 45 minutes and we finally made it to a table. Next to the patio door, with 48 degree cold breeze creeping in on us everytime the staff came in and out. There we were siting with our empty drinks, cold from the outside weather biting at us, still waiting, and trying our best to stay light-hearted laughing about the awful service that seemed to be running rampant in the restaurant. The couple next to us made a comment about just going to In-n-out, and we laughed with the couples at the tables around us. All of us guests who paid for a reservation well in advance, all of us wondering why the staff had no clue how to handle the valentine's day crowd, and all of us wishing we had gone ANYWHERE else. Another 25 minutes passed, and we still hadn't been greeted by a server. Other tables with patrons who arrived after us gave their orders and received drinks and appetizers, yet there we sat waiting, patiently, but by now incredibly irritated. My husband had to get up and go ask that a server be sent over to come take our order. When they arrived at our table again we were told, "sorry, I forgot all about you." We ordered the Ribeye, asparagus, a caesar salad, and the sweet salmon. The couple next to us had ordered the same thing, and when it arrived, the salmon was overdone, the rice was crunchy and under cooked, and the gentleman medium rare ribeye was burnt, and WELL done. The gentleman was asking for some A1 sauce, or something to choke it down with, they had nothing to offer. We were unsettled as we waited for our food to be prepared, but we were already 2 hours deep in this dining experience and Mc Donald's just doesn't do it for me. Now well over 2 hours into our 7:15 reservation, and we were still waiting to get to eat. I jokingly asked my husband if I should just walk over to red salmon to get some sushi to go.At 9:30 our food finally arrived at the table, cold, but edible. The ribeye lacked flavor, the caesar salad dressing tasted like rotten fish, the fingerling potatoes were dry and tasteless, the asparagus was burnt, and I ate as much of my cold salmon as I could tolerate and left the rest. We quickly asked for the bill, we were done, 2 hours and 45 minutes in a cold, uncomfortable restaurant with sub par food, and the only apology was that we received was that they were sorry they forgot about us. No ownership for the repulsive lack of service, no ownership for the horribly prepared food, and all to the tune of $180 for 2. Never have we been treated so poorly at any establishment in the Antelope Valley. I am absolutely appalled at the way the restaurant staff handled our dining experience. This was not our first time dining here, but after last night, we would never recommend dining at Complexity wine to anyone This establishment takes the first place prize for worst service, worst ambiance, and overall worst restaurant in the AV.

I booked a reservation for a birthday because this restaurant was highly recommended by friends. It's such a shame the food was so bad.Our waitress was good, attentive and friendly. She recommended a nice wine and brought a taster. No complaints there.House salads with chimichurri dressing. No dressing, just oil. No flavor. We sent them back. The waitress did offer to replace them, but we decided we would just wait for the entrees. Both of the entrees have traditional preparations, and while I understand a chef putting their own spin on the dish, these were nothing like what we were expecting. The Wild Boar Ragu over pasta was dry. Mostly just seared off ground meat with little to no sauce or flavor. There was a good portion of pasta and a good portion of meat, but because the ragu was so dry, all the meat ended up at the bottom of the bowl. The Steak Diane was also very disappointing. I do not understand stacking food for no rhyme or reason. On the bottom grainy mashed potatoes. Dry. Tastless. No salt, pepper, butter, cream. On top of that hot raw asparagus. I don't know why this is such a common thing in restaurants. On top of that the meat. Sauce on the side in a little metal cup. The sort of thing usually used for catsup at a fast casual burger place. The steak had to be moved to the side of the plate to even cut it up. The steak was supposed to be "filet". I have doubts based on the amount of fat and gristle I cut off the meat. For what it was, it was properly cooked to order and the mushrooms and shallots were sautéed perfectly. The sauce for Steak Diane is traditionally a cognac deglaze, followed by a bit of demiglace, dijon mustard, and cream. What was served here was bland, over-thickened, brown gravy. It is what makes Steak Diane, Steak Diane. I ended up not using it.When I made the reservation, I told the restaurant that we were celebrating a birthday. While I was not expecting a free full-sized desert, most restaurants offer a little something with a candle in it to help you celebrate. This place offered nothing, not even a Happy Birthday greeting at the hostess desk.2 dinners + 2 glasses of wine = $130. This would have been fine if the food had lived up to the hype. Instead it was truly disappointing. I did stop by the restaurant the next day, after the lunch rush, to talk to the owner. He was not available. The hostess suggested I email the owners because "they always respond to emails". I sent a polite email about a disappointing dinner and asked the owner to contact me. They never did.

Great great spot! Their food is delicious and they have a great selection of drinks! I don't drink much but tried one of the sparkling reds and was very impressed. I've been there for dinner and brunch. The service and food has been excellent each time! And the velvet chairs are so comfortable and really fit the casual yet upscale vibe!

I hate to leave a bad review but this place has gone waaay downhill and we all work too hard for our money to waste it . I have to assume their clietele is primarily hotel guests who they don't have to worry about pleasing since they will never return. They had a large party in their banquet room, but there were only three other tables there and I'd assume since they advertise their banquet room they'd be prepared. 45 minutes for apps, an hour for salad and 90 minutes for chicken overcooked to jerky level, and pasta that tasted like a can of tomato sauce was dumped on it. The service, while pleasant, was lacking. Bill for four was 250 which is fine if the food is good but advise others to spend their money elsewhere. Sad to see what happened to this place.

Nice to spend on a Friday night. We went for a friend gathering/baby shower. Considering it was a party of 20, Costumer service was good but we were all served at different times. My husband and I ordered the charcuterie board for two. The amount was perfect. We most definitely will go back to do their Sunday brunch.

Everyone in our party agreed that the wine, food, and service were all excellent! We had wine flights and peach mimosas. Friends and family enjoyed the baked brie, shrimp and beef tacos, salads. I was especially grateful for the vegan options and grilled tofu. We will be back.

I previously gave a 4-star review because our last visit felt lower quality than usual, but after our recent visit it's a 5. Phenomenal service! Amazing food & wine! This is our favorite restaurant in the AV!

The service was amazing. There are so many options of wine and food to pair with. We chose the chef picks and it was great. The restaurant was beautifully decorated as well.
