Classic Burgers

Food was great! Portions were really big, and fresh. Sauces were yummy. Very clean inside, and bathrooms are also super clean.

This is a good pit stop on the 395 to both charge your car and grab a bite to eat! I tried the lava burger (added extra grilled onions, raw onions, hot, cut in half), the Inyokern cowboy cheeseburger (added onions, cut in half), and their extra seasoned large fries. I ordered online and it was ready in around 15 minutes. You can modify your burgers a lot if you choose. Clean restaurant and outdoor bathroom with a classic diner charm.I liked both burgers - the lava burger had a slight kick to it and plenty of onions, and the cowboy cheeseburger had some crispy onion rings and the secret sauce/bbq sauce mixed well. I thought the fries were good crunch-wise but not seasoned as much as I was hoping for. The meat was generally tender. Either way, I am satisfied with my meal and I'll come back again when I'm out this way!

We ate here while the Tesla was charging. There are convenient restrooms and we decided to eat lunch as the car was charging. There is a kiosk to order but I wanted the human touch so we ordered at the counter. The photos of the menu items looked delicious! W got a#3 single classic burger combo, a #4 Lava cheeseburger combo, and a single classic burger. This was enough for three people. The food was OK, not as good as the photos but it is s convenient lunch spot on the way to Mammoth if you have a Tesla that needs charging.

Stopped in for burgers on the way toMammoth. The Cowboy Burger w/ BBQ sauce and onion rings was very tasty, and the curly fries were very crispy w/ generous portion to share. Lots of Tesla chargers, decent bathroom outside, and Inyokern Gas Station next door had the cheapest gas around ($4.10).

Great burgers! It was right next to the Tesla charging station. There isn't much to do or see in the area and it was 109°F when we were there. Lucky for us this burger restaurant was there. It was busy but has blessed air conditioned! We ordered burgers to go and they were really good. Everything was fresh. Fries were crunchy and cooked just right. Prices were reasonable.

We stopped here on our way in highway 395 to Mammoth. There are plenty of Tesla and rivian chargers available. Family got some order of milkshake, fries and burger. Food was yummy. What surprised me most was the clean restrooms. Rivian adventure Network has fast charging, 80% in 20 minutes.Overall a good spot to stretch and recharge

If it weren't for my new EV, and the charging station that brought me here, I would've never been here. A few minutes off the 395, we got the charge we needed to continue our trip--our battery and our bellies full. Thanks, Yelpers, for your reviews that gave me the nerve to try this off-the-beaten-path diner--you know these places can be great, or horrific, and if it weren't for your reviews, I wouldn't have tried the odds. It was spacious, bright, very clean (including the restrooms), service was great, food was what you'd want from a classic burger joint. It was a very tasty burger with thick cut tomatoes, shredded lettuce, tasty pickles, and some special sauce. The patty was on the thicker side--similar to a quarter pounder-and mine did have some pink in the center, which I don't mind, but I guess those who don't prefer this should ask that it's well done. The mini burger had all the toppings of a regular sized classic--not like a kid's burger-and was big and filling enough for me. We didn't try any of the sweets, shakes or sundaes, but would love to next time. I like to see small mom and pop like places like this one do well, and they had a good amount of patrons besides us. Definitely worth stopping in if you're ever in this remote stretch of the highway.

Clean, convenient location off hwy 395, and the burgers and milkshakes are amazing! Sure beats the big chain fast food joints!

Burgers were really good I was surprised. This restaurant has a stand alone handwashing station in like a corner kinda by where you can order. Strange. Wasn't sure how I felt about that design choice. Got a peanut butter shake and it was solid. I often just eat spoonfuls of peanut butter as a snack so this was an upgrade.

Located right outside of Kernville/ Lake Isabella. Perfect pit stop for a quick bite and restroom break. They have Tesla/Rivian charging stations right outside. The quality of the food was surprisingly good, and the service was speedy. Great pitstop
