China Lake Buffet

Food was warm, tasty, and delicious. It was clean and spacey. Ladies were really nice and decisive. Great value for the money!

$59 dollars for 3 adults for average, bland cuisine is kind of a rip off. The only thing I got out of this experience was quenching my curiosity because I thought this place was dead and closed by the looks of the exterior. Welp. It's open and there is food inside. They just don't care to make the façade look inviting. Service was depressing. Like, are you OK? Food is not horrible and I didn't get sick but there is absolutely no reason to come again.

I stopped here twice for takeout. Not a huge selection of options to choose from but it gets the job done when you're hungry, wanting a bit of variety and don't feel like cooking.

Many options for Pescatarians! Coconut shrimp is yummy and wontons too! Really good customer service very friendly and I like the lighting

I mean it's an affordable Chinese buffet so you can't expect Sichuan dishes and whatnot from a Michelin star place lol. I've posted photos before of the good food. When something is empty, just ask the workers to refill it. I've done that with their chow mein many times. And they're more than obliging. Dishes I love there: chow mein, string beans, salt and pepper shrimp, and fried fish. My spouse likes their chow mein, BBQ chicken on skewers, and string beans. You get more for your money's worth than Panda Express.

5:30 on Sunday they're closed.Not sure how a restaurant stays in business being closed on Sunday.......

the food was either cold and or tasted and looked old. My stomach was hurting when eating so I had to leave early with my family because we all felt the same way. Plus they over charged us for someone reason it was 2 adults and one 6 year old, and out her as 10-12 for some reason and changed us a little over 50 dollars for that ??? I'm not gonna lie the waiter wasn't too bad or anything and it was pretty quiet because how little people were there. Usually I hate Karan's and ppl that care so much to give bad reviews but that place truly was bad and I've had bad food before I just hope I'm not gonna get sick or anything because my stomach is still qeezy hours later

The best Chinese food out here hands down. I just moved out here. So I was expecting the buffet with the crab legs etc. but I spoke to one the ladies and she explained that since Covid it's been hard. But over all she had great customer service and was very helpful. I will go back and order some more food. I know their on break right now but I can't wait because all of the other Chinese food I've tasted out here is not it....I think what they need to do to improve their buffet as far as getting more clientele is deals maybe have kids eat free at a certain time (school hours) idk but the food is amazing

yea this food gave me food poisoning. honestly. both service and food was horrible, and the pricing is outrageous for what tastes and feels in your mouth like prepackaged food. Ridgecrest is a hit or miss for food, and if you really want decent food, I'd just see when Robs OG BBQ is pitching up and get some barbecue. this place isn't worth the hype. good luck somewhere else, and honestly, just make the drive to Bakersfield if you want decent Chinese buffets

China Lake Buffet provided hot lucky food items (spring rolls, dumplings, and noodles) for a Chinese/Lunar New Year program. The food was still hot when it was delivered to us. More than 30 people ate the food and everyone commented that it was delicious.
