I've grown up eating here and the quality has never. The service is top notch. I recommend the paper wrapped chicken and steak sandwich. Best in Kern County.

Wonderful local spot well worth the drive from Bakersfield. Established in 1989. Survived a fire in 2005. Came back serving all their best dishes, and still going today. Spacious open dining room, with touches of Chinese decor. The owner is so kind. Always welcoming and friendly, bantering with all the locals. Service with a smile and a laugh here and there. The food is always spot on. Their not so secret specialty is a nice big juicy ribeye. Cooked to order served with your choice of side, a salad bar and toasted bread. Seasoning delicious served on a hot plate. Tender and juicy. My E dinner had so much food. Sweet and sour pork always a favorite, with ribs, fried shrimp, Chow mein and fried rice. Large portions and plenty for my midnight craving or lunch tomorrow. Great spot, so glad to have a family owned place service their community. See you next time

China cuisine isn't like it use to be. The food was better back in the day. Idk who runs it now but the food is not the same!

I don't understand why the focus is on American lunch and dinner items at a Chinese restaurant? If I want a Ribeye or New York steak I can go to a steak house. French dip or diner style breakfast and lunches there are other places I think of than a Cantonese restaurant. The prices were not bad, there's no lunch menu and the inside is 1950s Smallville.

Went there today (10/20/23) for the buffet and was so disappointed. I had everything they offered at the buffet and it was just not great in taste. Just to list a few things, the chow mein and fried rice was lacking and the sweet and sour sauce was freezing cold which turned me off completely. I only went for one plate and could not finish it.The service was ok. Server greeted me and came by and asked if I was doing okay a few times.The overall vibe of the restaurant was ok. I think it kind of looked cluttered but I'll leave it at that. Overall, I don't recommend eating here unless you like bland food.

Pretty good food. We ordered sweet and sour pork, chicken and shrimp chow mein, crispy chicken, fried shrimp, ribs. Surprised at the amount of food. It was delicious. Perfect Cantonese food. Pretty flavorful. We haven't had chow mein in a very long time? Pretty ok tasting! We'll be back!

I hate a sizzling plate for fajitas cut for my steak, amazing. They drown it in butter and you may fear your arteries will explode on the spot but dang is it good. Both times we went at lunchtime and the service was amazing. Love it
