Honey walnut shrimp!!
Looking at the outside, I suspect this restaurant started out as a diner, probably in the 1950's.
As I entered the restaurant, I was immediately transported back in time to the early 1960's, as the interior is definitely "1960's diner."
Chili paste
Note the vintage chrome rack that holds the menu... definitely 1960's diner vintage.
The chef seems a little surprised as I peek through the window to the kitchen and snap his photo.
Lunch combination with sweet and sour pork and fried pork
A portion of the menu, featuring combination plates, family dinner, "Chef Specials," along with a small section of American "comfort food."
Good selection

I stopped by for lunch. The sweet and sour chicken was okay. The rice seemed like it was scrapped from the bottom of the pot. The lady seemed surprised that I wanted to dine in. The price was fair. The portion was large. I would not return.

This place is one of those hole in the wall places that are so good. We always get it to go, if you saw the place you'd know why I'm saying that ha ha . The food is so good though. Pepper chicken has sautéed jalapeño and onion on top of fried battered pieces of chicken , king pow shrimp tons of veggies with celery. I love celery . Mongolian chicken lots of big veggies and tender chicken no weird peace's of chicken that are inedible with lots of big veggies that still have crunch. They are not heavy on the cornstarch which I love. The owners are the cooks and yes they have a dry personality but we find it enduring lol I'm only giving 4 stars because you can't really go there to sit down and eat but as far as the food goes

It was ok. My sweet and sour chicken was like fried chicken nuggets with a scoop of sauce. The wings needed seasoning. Chow main could use some more flavor. Mushrooms and beef was ok as well... not much to compliment. But it will be a very long time or if at all I come back here.

I mean I think I would have enjoyed my food a lot more if when we were ordering the lady wouldn't have kept saying are you sure that's a lot of food 3 to 4 times. For one your response should be "what else may I get you" never telling a customer they shouldn't order food because what we order supports your business and then she kept saying "to go " no we are eating here ! And then brought it to our table and said " see lots of food" so what? Did that food we order not support your business and pay some bills ? How do you expect people to want to come back when you don't even let them order what they want ? And the egg drop soup was horrible it was so thick and sticky
