Cesar Chavez Elementary School

Cesar Chavez is a wonderful Magnet School. The Magnet program here is for the Sciences. It is a K through 6 elementary school and one of the highest rated in town. They bus kids in from all over the place for the Magnet, but the wait list is long, so sign up early (like seriously at birth) to ensure your kid a spot. My daughter did Transitional kinder here with Mrs. Furr, and this year tested at 2nd grade level in reading and 1st grade level in math. Last year I would pick her up from Magnet and she would teach me all about bats, snakes, the water cycle, insects, you name it. It was wonderful to pick her up everyday and see the happiness on her face. The teachers and staff really love the kids and care about their education and development. I can't say enough good things about the school. It is a wonderful and safe place to educate your child and I recommend it highly.

This is one of the best schools in kern county. They have helpful and amazing teachers. They have a dress code but, you can sign a waiver to wear regular clothes. This is an all around amazing school

It's the best school around town. it's wonderful. It is just a Great vibe, and fun. Thay have many things to do at the school. Although the magnet waiting list is soooo... long, It's still a wonderful school.
