So sad this place closed. Great dive bar feeling. Nothing corporate about it. Feel like if Cheers was a dark comedy with wacky people. Great drinks and ambience. I once saw the hottest bar tender, look like a goth rocker chick from the 90's.

This place is right in Downtown Viselia. The moment you walk in you get hit with this cool Euro pub vibe. I can see myself come here for a drink after work. Today? Lunch. The bar tender was very attentive, get me seated and go my drink in no time. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It came very fast. It is a nice piece of breast with deep grilled mark with sauce and grilled mushrooms. Lettuce, tomato, onions on the side. When I took my first bite, a nice charred flavor hit me. It is really well done. The side salad is a bed of fresh green, with light olive oil, and a blanket of parmigiana cheese. I would definitely recommend this place!

I just love this place! It reminds me of a Speak Easy without the secret door! The chef is a master mixologist of any drink you can imagine & his sauces & flavors are so unique & will leave you craving everything enough you WILL be back! Like I said the ambiance reminds me of a Speak Easy & the dining is fancy & has a gourmet flair to each dish! Every drink & dish is made with such love & pride. They also have opened a morning cafe with mouth watering French pastries from the new bakery, Bread Savage across the street. You've gotta try both!

We came here for lunch on a Wednesday. The menu is really tiny, they have salad, soup, meatballs with bread, a burger and a few other items. The special was the bacon blue cheese burger, and that's what we tried. Unfortunately there are no fries, just bagged chips, side salad or potato salad. However, the meat in this burger was so unique and delicious! There had to be a 1/2lb Patty, so I'm glad we split it.. it was highly seasoned ( in a good way) juicy, and tender. I hate my burger well done, but it was so juicy that it didn't matter! We also tried 2 cocktails; the bjiou, and the bittered sling. Both were refreshingly unique flavor profiles. The bijou has a strong chartreuse backdrop, so only copse this one if you like chartreuse. It was nice & strong though... they don't go cheap on their cocktails here! The bittered sling is sweet, rich and the bitters really come through. The Space Dust IPA was in a cold glass ( I LOVE that detail), and we spired it with our delicious burger. Tate the owner came by and said hello, and Karina was our bartender. She was sweet & attentive. The lounge was relaxing and quiet, it was a perfect lunchtime getaway!!

Nice atmosphere and great music! Terrible and expensive cocktails that weren't even made right. Sometimes you would get a drink served to you in a big plastic cup, sometimes in a super tiny one. No consistency at all. I would come back for more music, but we'll be drinking elsewhere.

You're doing yourself a disservice if you reside in the vicinity of Visalia or are traveling through to not come to the Celler Door. The cocktails rival anything you could get in a major city. The menu is small but tight in that every dish you order comes out to perfection because they don't have to worry about 30 mediocre dishes. As I mentioned above, the menu is tight and shows in the detail and flavor you are getting out of every bite. I highly recommend this place because you get top-quality food in the Central Valley sourced from local growers. I would honestly pay double for every dish they serve. The food is sexual. It is orgasmic. Bring your significant other or mistress here.A++

I have been coming to this venue for over 20 years and know the previous owners and most of the bands that have played there. The latest owners are practicing cancel culture and last night were very rude to my blind friends who were 2 of their best customers. The previous 2 sets of owners always had a table reserved for them when they got there. Now these current owners have created a VIP mentality and won't seat you unless you pay double price. These are blind senior citizens BTW. who have literally spent thousands of dollars here . I suggest not supporting this venue. Crawdaddys willtreat you much nicer. Cellar door does not take care of loyal customers. I will never go there again and neither will these long time patrons. They are money hungry and impersonal. They will lose their business eventually then hopefully it will restructure.

My two sisters and I stoped in shortly after 5pm on a Friday afternoon for an early dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. Lots of room, easy to have a conversation without a lot of background noise. The menu is designed for items to be shared so we split a variety of things - asparagus, caprese salad, meatballs and memelas. We stayed for about an hour and a half catching up and never felt rushed to leave. Very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend the place and look forward to returning next time we come through Visalia.

My sister and I stopped for lunch. OMG!!! Fabulous grilled asparagus, caprese salad and delish meatballs. Setting reminded me of a New York downstairs eatery.
