Casa Tequila

I couldn't believe I was in Bakersfield. This is was hidden place with amazing food and ambience. I was visiting for a night and didn't know where to eat at 10pm it was open and served five star quality food. There was night club in the same strip which was owned by the same owners . Will definitely be back if I am in town.

if i'm paying $30+ to get in, i better be getting good music at least. this place sucks and the service is bad. DJ oso is a horrible DJ. find someone better

This new location is alright but it ain't the same as when it was on California Ave. If you ever went when Casa Tequila was on California then you know what I mean. This place seems no different from Cielo when it was here. There are better and more affordable places to go and have a good time in town.

Went there with some friends to have a good time as soon as you walk in there is nasty stench maybe mold. we sat down the service was not that great it took forever to get my drinks and they even charged me 5 dollars for chaser for my shot of patron. We then see a worker spilling pine sol on the floor next to the bar because of the smell. It disgusting in there and most likely are covering up the mold smell with pine sol. Would never return and don't recommend

This review is strictly for the DJ was that working on 1/22/2021. Unfortunately I have to give 1 star or else I would give zero if I could. I would also like to say that we paid extra to be in VIP. The DJ was very rude and not accommodating. We politely asked him several times to play a certain song or artist and his response was always rude. I understand that he had his own playlist but, his responses could have been more polite. After my friend tipped him $100 he did finally play a song that we requested. But, he didn't even play half of the song. Overall, the place was good. But, the DJ ruined it for us. For that reason, we will not be back.

It's basically a copy cat of brix but worse atleast brix had an out side area to lounge. This place is very uncomfortable it gives you a slimy vibe. The cover charge is ridiculous the drink I ordered was trash I pretty much walked in and bounced it was not for me. It will be hard for anyone to get me to go in there again.

Set up is awesome! Staff is awesome! Security is Awesome! Crowd is awesome! Now for the 1 star... Price to get in is $30, like this isn't Vegas lol. Now for the 0 star part and the part that ruins the night! The DJ!!!!!!!!!!!! Is TERRIBLE!!! DJ Oso or whatever is so bad! Dude can not read the crowd! Plays the worst music possible. It's like he goes to google looks up "top 50 worst songs ever" and plays those! Dude plays one good song, crowd gets going and right away plays 8 trash ones in a row! Everyone just standing there on the dance floor looking stupid! PLEASE GET A NEW DJ!!!

This place needs metal detectors. 1:45 a.m. 6/5/21 as me and my gf were coming out guns started blasting blasting and people were running everywhere. Pretty crazy. Not worth getting shot. Didn't even hear about it in the news the next day. It was my idea to come here that night. And now I imagine how bad I would have felt if my gf got hit with a stray bullet for wanting to just have a fun night out.

My experience was great! There DJ was super good, always kept me on my feet, there bartenders were friendly and fast with there drinks. Overall would come back again.

Went there last night and honestly the DJ was pretty good! The worst part of this place is they are very expensive like 15$ for a shot.. don't think I'd be returning. Unless I drink before going.
