Carl's Motel

Omgsh! Okay so this is what happen, I'm out in Mohave desert for work and I need a cheap place to catch some zzz this was by far the cheapest place BUT! as soon as I pull up its giving me the fucking creeps! People are like living here and smoking and ugh no! I left! lol Don't even bother!

carl's is the best motel i ever stayed at and i would tell every one to stay at carl's there are no bugs and very very clean rooms and very nice staff and its quite and there is no one bugs you and if you need anything they are there to help you, so go stay there. IT'S THE BEST..

Yes the motel is very old my great grandfather built the motel in 40 by hand.

We stayed there for two weeks. The managers are very, very kind, but overall, the place is not worth the money. There is NO WiFi, despite the fact that they claim there is. The swamp coolers are BARELY sufficient to deal with the extreme temperatures of the high desert, and the whole building is extremely old and not updated at all. There are only TWO sockets, and they are very old and worn out (probably not safe). The carpets are absolutely filthy - I like to go barefoot (especially when it's hot) and my feet were black within minutes. There was mold on the ceiling in the shower and the plumbing was awful.I am only giving this place two stars because of the very cool managers and the sweet barbecue space. Otherwise, you should look at Lancaster or Mojave for much better deals.

Great little roadside Motel. Been here three times in the last two years for local racing track days. Good clean non-smoking rooms, clean beds, good water pressure, giant wall mount flat screen TV w/DirecTV, HBO, etc. mini-fridge, cold AC (switch on wall), free wi-fi, well lit parking. My rating based on Best value/price in town!! If u need a waterfall in your lobby or Martha Stewart curtains go ahead and pay double-triple somewhere else lol..

It's the worst motel ever! Cannot get room service like pulling teeth. Told to turn off your swamp cooler. Rude managers. Scream at you , the wife is rude disrespectful . The place is rundown and old , the tvs are super small. The grounds are dirty and nothing to do at all. Drug Raids , hookers , and they say one thing do another. Treat people like cattle. All they care about is money. Would never stay there again ever. Would advise you to Go some place else. This was suppose to be a vacation ends up being a nightmare. Should be treated with respect and polite attitude. NOT gonna get it here!!!!!Keep going! I agree its like a prison.
