Carla's Cottages

This place was the perfect get away from the city. My husband, dog and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The other guests were very low-key and very respectful. The accomodations there were absolutely gorgeous. I actually can't wait for a reason to go back again soon.DETAILS...This was the perfect place a get-away weekend with my husband. The garden and suites are all beautifully arranged on the property, the garden had a beautiful layout, the pool and jacuzzi were amazing (seriously amazing), and our dog had just as much fun as we did. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The suite was clean, the TV had an HDMI cable that we were able to hook our computer up to to watch Netflix, the bed was very comfy and clean, and bathroom was very clean, and the overall space was exactly what we were looking for. There are enough parking spots for all of the guests, and all of the guests were very low-key and pleasant to be around. Although all of the suites were rented out we actually barely ran into everyone and it felt as if we had the entire area to ourselves. I think one of the biggest perks on top of all these amenities is that our dog was allowed to enjoy the place just as much as we were. We are looking forward to another reason to take a trip up to Santa Barbara/Montecito area so we can stay here again! I would definitely recommend this place.

You know when you book a vacation rental over the Internet & you see pictures, sometimes you don't always get what you pay for. Well I was so happy when I arrived at Carla's. She met me at the gate & she took the time to explain and show me everything I needed to know about the cottage, laundry, pool etc. I felt very safe, since it was just me & my little Havanese. All of the other guests were very nice too. I felt like a have known Carla for years. She just has that type of personality. I will miss my little cottage & will take my memories back to KY with me & hopefully I will visit here again. In fact I know I will. Loved the area, loved the cottage, loved the grounds. Highly recommend these beautiful cottages.

My husband and I rented the poolside cottage with two bathrooms. For starters, Carla is super friendly, very helpful and very responsive. I truly enjoyed our chats. The cottage is spacious, with lots of large windows and screened doors to enjoy the fresh air. The cottage is very tastefully appointed and it felt like home from the minute we entered. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of seating for outdoor living and barbecuing. The master bed is incredibly comfortable and appointed with very nice linens. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay at Carla's Cottages and only regret that it had to come to an end. I highly recommend Carla's Cottages and plan to return in the future. Oh....and it is pet friendly!!

Carla and her husband are two amazing people. They made us feel so welcome and we enjoyed every minute at the cottage. We got to stay here for our honeymoon and it was such a blessing! The location is perfect and so peaceful. We were only a 5-10 minute drive away from Santa Barbara. The cottage was clean, comfortable and Carla's hospitality made it the final touch. Her heart and care for the guests went above and beyond. She heated up the jacuzzi for us while we were on a date, suggested delicious places to eat and fun things to do. Her ability to make her guests feel comfortable and welcome is a gift. She is truly a joy and we will definitely be back to visit!

My husband and I made a trip out to Santa Barbara last year for a wedding. All of the larger hotels were either booked or charging $500+/night. I found Carla's Cottages on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. After all, it was only for one night and at such a reasonable price. The only thing we regret was not being able to enjoy the beautiful property in all of its seclusion and serenity for a longer period of time. The cottage we stayed in - the Room for Two - was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. This inn is a hidden gem and perfect for a romantic getaway. Hope to return someday.

Carla's Cottages are the best getaway ever!! A lovely oasis close to quaint villages and great beaches! If you want a quiet, fun break, this is the place to go! And Carla is the best, too! A highly recommended stay!
