Camarillo JiuJitsu

Camarillo Jiu Jitsu is a great place for the whole family. I appreciate The detailed instruction that the owner Dan gives. He draws from his years of training competing and teaching to give the students the best techniques and strategies to be successful in their own jiu jitsu journey. He is very attentive to all of the students in the class and makes everyone feel welcome. Dan, lovey, and the entire staff are very friendly and I quickly felt like part of the family. My two boys 9 and 6 fell the same and are excited every time that we are going to go to the academy. This is the place for anyone who wants a great experience for the whole family as well as everyone from raw beginner to olympic level athlete. I can't say enough good things about Camarillo Jiu Jitsu.

Great place, very inviting, friendlly. Dan is very down to earth despite being well known beast in jiu jitsu. They dont kick the crap out of you your first day like another school I visited in town (south valley). Definitely awesome!

Attended a really good class taught by Vinnie. I learned a lot. He's a nice and humble dude. I like this gym.

Camarillo Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic place to learn jiu jitsu, they do a fantastic job teaching. Dan, the owner, is all in, he loves teaching both children and adults, and does a wonderful job. My 14 yearl old son takes no gi classes there and has learned quite a bit and has become much more confident and physically strong. His teacher is Vinny, who is also exceptional. The atmosphere there is great, its like one big family, everyone makes you feel welcome whether you are there for classes or to just pick up your child. I highly recommend Camarillo Jiu Jitsu, I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else.

An amazing place to train. I live 170 miles from this academy and have driven out there on multiple occasions to train. Dan, the owner and head instructor, is a legend in jiu jitsu circles. He is a super nice guy and a great teacher as well. I've always left here having learned something new. Anyone in the area who is looking to train in jiu-jitsu would be foolish to not check this place out. I can't believe that I am the first to review this place. I can't wait to come back here again.

I went to this academy with my wife to check it out and see the environment. I met the main professor/owner and his wife. He was so inappropriate, He made my wife feel so uncomfortable. I guess all the rumors about him are true. He couldn't keep his eyes off my wife super inappropriate. We left went to a different Jiu Jitsu academy and signed up there. So sad that this creep is a Jiu Jitsu academy owner his business license should be revoked, someone needs to look into this. So sad there's no state agency appointed to keep this creep in line so he stops doing this to people.

The best Bjj training ever. Zombie classes are a great way to start your day. Come check it out you won't regret it!
