Purchased an older model truck (95) and it needed a smog. Was referred to Camara as they are able to smog older vehicles. They got me right in and the ladies in the office were super pleasant. Would definitely recommend! While waiting several customers came in and I could tell they were long time, faithful customers. That means alot when it comes to auto repair places.

Took our car in for a normal check up and freon was low. No estimate given to us on the work/cost to be done? They performed work without authorization from me and charged me double the going rate of another repair shop. I offered to pay the going rate and they said either pay IN FULL our price or we will take the freon out of your car?! So, we let them take out the freon and we took our car to FRANK'S AUTOMOTIVE where they took wonderful care of us and saved us a bunch of money! (We will never come back to this place.)

Our 2016 Kia started overheating on a trip home from Yosemite. We pulled over and called several places to look at our car. The first two places we called (Frank's & Just Us) were both too busy but both recommended Camara. Just Us even called them directly to see if they could get us in ASAP. They got us in, figured out the problem, and took the time to go through our options. We ultimately decided to tow the car back to Southern California to see if it was covered under the warranty. We were in their lobby for over 3 hours trying to find a rental car to get home. Everyone there was so helpful and understanding. We needed to leave the car there overnight so we could come back and tow it home. They stored it inside for us and Chris even came back on Saturday morning to get the car out and make sure we were comfortable towing it the 3 hours back home. I'm so grateful for their professionalism, honesty and kindness during a stressful time.

Very bad work. I took my vehicle for an oil change and they indicated that my brakes needed work. They did my back brakes but they did a worse job. My car after a week, was making noise. It was worse than I brought it in. I took it back to them complaining about the noise and they drove it, they said they couldn't hear the noise. The noise became worse. So I took my car today to another mechanic shop in Visalia who was able to agree that my vehicle was making noise and this was due to the brake parts Camara installed. The other Mechanic worked on the brakes made a video to show the problem and they sent it to me. I went to Camara and told them that they had put wrong parts of the brakes in my car and they were Still denying it until they called the mechanic shop I went to in Visalia and they had seen the video. Even so, one guy said that the noise that was coming from the brakes could not cause an accident. I paid them approximately $ 260, they gave me back approximately $62, but never apologized for their mistakes. If CAMARA is reading this, please tell your mechanics to do better and take accountability. Atleast they should have said sorry for their worse job. I doubt I will be going back. But be careful when you do go.

Went in to pick up a car battery after I was at another shop and was recommended to go here. They had about 15 cars in service and completed it looked like, so I'm assuming they are good at auto repair. The battery was already on the counter when I walked in and the associate was very nice. So as far as that goes, I would definitely come back to get another, or exchange my battery based on the customer service I received.

My A/C went out in my car last year and they were able to replace it quickly and with a great price. I had to return today because a part gave out. I was able to get in super quick and they replaced the part. They provided a great service and are very professional. I highly recommend!

I was passing through Tulare when I discovered that a wheel bearing had failed on my travel trailer. Camara Auto Service immediately assessed the problem and determined the best/most economical solution. They professionally repaired the wheel hub and brake assembly. I was kept informed throughout the repair process. I am very thankful that they got me back on the road in about 3 hours! They are professional, fair and trustworthy! If I lived in or near Tulare, Camara Auto Services would definitely get my auto repair and service business. Thank you Camara Auto Services!!

I lost a CV joint driving up highway 99 on the end of a weeklong roadtrip near Pixley, CA on Saturday, and there were no shops open until Monday, nearest place was Tulare, CA. I got towed by AAA to a hotel in Tulare, and he informally slipped me the name of the shop he takes his car to, Camara. So this morning I had the car towed to Camara and they were amazingly helpful. They listened, they empathized, they got my car running cheaply and quickly, and I was able to get home. I paid about $180 for parts and labor for the replacement axle, which I felt was totally fair. They also drove my car around a bit to check for any other problems that might keep me from getting home. Thankfully they didn't find any other problems.The biggest thing for me was the code of ethics on the wall from the ASCCA - http://www.ascca.com/. The folks at Camara really upheld these ethics and made me feel a lot better about going to the shop for help. I wish they were close by where I live in the Bay Area. If you get stuck out on highway 99, just go to Camara.
