I love oranges from California Fruit Depot!The quality of oranges or anything at California Fruit Depot is incredibly supreme! You must stop to get the oranges. And dates! The service is the best. The salespersons are very knowledgeable about all products in the store and super helpful and friendly. The ambiance is happy and pleasant. This is a must stop destination! Come to support the farmer community!

What a nice little place. We were mostly curious. They had free samples for tasting so I tasted a few things I would not have otherwise like coconut figs and dried cantaloupe. The service was friendly and helpful. They were very organized and everything was very clean. My wife is not a fan of dried fruit but we left with free lemons, nuts, dried apricots and chocolate covered coffee beans. Check it out if you are near Highway 58 east of Bakersfield. They also offer fruit smoothies and shakes. Very nice and upbeat.

An amazing stop that we happened to come across on our journeys. Well marked, this location is a must stop even if you're only going to pick up a few items to have snacks in the car! Super fresh fruit, fantastic pricing, and assistance with shipping if you want to make a gift of it. They must stop to see where your fresh fruit comes from in California!Many items are available, such as nuts, dried fruits, etc. that are great quality and pricing. Family run operation with super helpful folks in the shop.A fun place to look around, you'll get lost in their shop!

This is one of my favorite stops on the way home from Bakersfield. You're always greeted with a warm welcome, and the employees are incredibly friendly. I love picking up snacks for my family--there's always something fun to find. It's great that you can sample the snacks before buying them. Plus, they have the best oranges around! Cute country store right off of the freeway. We bought a yummy date shake, beef jerky, fresh whole fruit and chocolate covered almonds. The staff are all super friendly. It was a great pit stop on our roadtrip.

We always stop here on our way through Bakersfield. Fabulous choices of nuts and fruits. Best place to pick up navel oranges that I love. Clean, nice employees, great samples of everything before you buy

Absolutely Perfect!The staff is ALWAYS friendly and appreciative!Call before you drive out to see which fruit is in season and recently added to the shelves. The Naval Oranges were the sweetest we've ever had, and the perfect size for squeezing, in our heavy-duty manual squeezer. As promised, our large box, at an incredibly reasonable price, lasted us more than two weeks, and remained perfectly ripe!You must try the date shakes, with homemade whipped cream, that is delicious and unique.

I have been coming to California Fruit Depot for a couple of decades. A small, family owned packing house focusing on quality and customer service.Fresh, local citrus, juices, Central Valley native fruits, tree nuts of virtually every variety, and chocolate covered everything!! Plus, the coolest humans work here and truly make it what it is. Come by and say Hi to Sully and Lori.

Me and my grandpa stopped by here for some oranges and it couldnt have been easier. They have a beautifully clean sample display with different types of oranges so that you know exactly what you want. The scenery is also beautiful and clean. As we were checking out, we experienced amazing customer service by a young girl. She was so nice and made nice conversation! Definitely some of the best customer service i have ever experienced .

I can't speak highly enough about this place! They have everything from fresh citrus, dried fruit, nuts, snacks, fresh squeezed juices and lemonade ... and the best Meyers Lemons I've ever found. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. This is an annual stop for us when traveling thru. I highly recommend stopping by to visit. They're conveniently located next to the Orange Grove RV park in Bakersfield.
