I went back and forth on whether or not to write this review, but I realized that there are things that the public should know that aren't necessarily reflected in the other reviews.I stayed at Cali Lake from 10/22/2021 to 11/12/2021. I paid $900 for one month (utilities included) and ultimately left a week early due to some of the following issues:A) Trailer park vibe. This place feels like a trailer park in all of the negative ways. Everyone is packed together very tightly, people keep trash in and around their rigs, there are broken down cars all over, and people STEAL and WRECK things. Two examples:1) My car was was hit and the driver side door was dented. No note left. I asked management for footage from the security camera that points directly at where my car stays but was told all the other cameras work except that one. Sounded like some bullshit, but what options did I have to do anything else? Now I am left with a dent in my car that I see every day. It's the principle of the matter for me.2) I "lost" the key fob to my Jeep between walking from the trailer to the car. There was a red face mask clipped to it, so I know it was highly visible and obvious. I asked around immediately, but no one (management included) had seen it. I am the type of person to give people the benefit of the doubt, but the key didn't just walk off. Since the car is able to be unlocked and started with just the fob, I was very concerned that whomever picked it up could very easily just steal my car in the middle of the night. Very frustrating.B) No cell phone service. There are reviews that say there is "limited" service but that's a very liberal interpretation of the term. There is nearly zero cell service because the park is situated in Canyon Country and so service is usable about 5% of the time.C) Shitty wifi. If there isn't cell service, most of us can still get by with wifi, but not in this case. The wifi is so crappy that I wasn't able to work from home or stream anything, but that's pretty typical for these kinds of places. What I didn't expect though, is wifi so weak that I couldn't even send or receive videos through WhatsApp. Instagram also would not work. Even Google maps wouldn't load in the canyon so I wouldn't be able to know what time I should leave based on traffic because it never even loaded.D) Water issues. Look, I understand California is basically always in a drought, but to have no water at all without notice is some bullshit.E) Noise. Even if we weren't packed in like sardines, some people are still SO LOUD that I think we would still hear them. We literally had to ask to be moved because we woke up at 4 and 5 and 6 in the morning to our neighbor literally SCREAMING at his girlfriend and repeatedly banging on things for three nights in a row. I legitimately worried about what was happening and moved to the other side of the park after the third day there. The other side of the park was much quieter, but like I said, you can hear conversations because everyone is so close together. While I am only giving 1 star, I will say that TK helped us set up and take the rig (twice) and was SO kind and helpful. Even George was helpful at times. But I would never, ever go back, especially when there are other options very close by.I am so thankful I was able to leave early, because this police chase and SHOOTOUT happened the same night I left:https://signalscv.com/2021/11/chase-leaves-multiple-crime-scenes/Almost all positive reviews of the place have been made by people that live there because they have nowhere else to go. It truly makes me sad to have to call that out, but people need to know the truth of what they are getting into before staying here. If you're looking for a quick place for just a couple of nights, sure, it's doable. But anything more than that and you'll pull your fucking hair out.

This place is a heavenly oasis of beauty and dreams.-If you like the smell of dog poop everywhere-if you like seeing dog poop everywhere-If you like garbage everywhere-If you like broken down cars everywhere-If you like seeing junk piled everywhere-If you like flies everywhere-If you like dogs running around everywhereYup! It was just as I daydreamed our very first rv camping experience would be like. NOT! This place should be called "THE CALI LAKE TRANSFER STATION" At least all the dump sites I go to call it that.Run for the hills on this one guys. For as many people they cram in this place you would think they can spend some money on keeping it up.

The reviews were good, pictures lovely. We traveled a long way and arrive to find a RV park that was nothing like the pictures. The manager was very kind but there was no way we were going to stay. In attempting to find a place to turn around, one of the tree's broke our solar panel. Just a disaster! Took a few pics of what it actually looks like. It was our first trip RV'ing. Guess it made a first interesting story. Thankfully the Valencia Travel Village had an occupancy for same price.

When I arrived at the office during the COVED 19 epidemic, the manager approached my window without a face mask. When I asked him to put one on and keep 6 feet distance from me, he said: "I am not sick, and no one else here is sick". What an idiot! My reservation was for 3 nights. After two hours, we decided to leave this dump. The place was weird, dirty, trashy, and Seedy.I should have taken some pictures to show but we decided to get the F out of there.Yes, there is a tiny lake with a few ducks and there are some trees and green on the other side. But for full hookup, we were on gravel, looking at old rusty, trashy vehicles that have not been moved for a long time. NO trees for shade. Trash all over and the trash cans are overflowing. This park is much too expensive for what you get. For $75 per night, I would like to see WiFi working, a tree or two for shade, a bit of green grass, and a friendlier staff. I would have not paid $5 dollars to stay there. In fact, I would not stay there if it was free. The pictures on the website are deceiving. The place may have good potential to be a great little escape place, but unfortunately, they do nothing to make it a clean and pleasant campsite. The bottom line, it is a dump!

Do NOT stay here!!!! The website is very misleading. Read all the other negative reviews - they are accurate! What is advertised is not accurate. Their 50 amp is not 50 amp. It is barely 100 voltage - not safe and could wreck our ACs....hence the power surges and some folks using generators. The water pressure is about 36 psi. As for the campground itself, it is packed tight with about 4-5 feet between neighbors on every side. We were the only "Vacationers " in the whole place. Everyone else LIVES there and the place is full of "shady chatacters".The staff offered to move us to another spot in the campground...stating the power is good there. My husband checked the voltage before we hooked up only to find it was just as unsafe as the other spot. We could not risk damaging our RV. We had to leave and find another place to stay. The owner, Stewart Silver, told us he would refund us for the 5 days we could not stay. ***It has been over week - no refund!!!! Time for some action! The only reason we gave this place 1 star is due to the staff - trying their best despite the owner!!!

I would seriously give them a 0 if I could. No masks and dirty all around. I've kept that to myself because both Paulie and Stuart/Stewart the manager offered to refund our monthly stay. That was over 3 weeks ago. My dad has lymphoma and we were looking for somewhere clean, serene and peaceful and this is not the place. I contacted them and it was agreed that they would refund our stay... nothing. No response to my emails anymore, just nothing.Absolutely unacceptable. I will be updating my google review as well.

We stayed at this park for almost a year while my husband worked full time as a Lineman in LA. We were ecstatic to find somewhere that we could stay long term without moving several times. On site Managers were always helpful and nice. We ended up leaving in February to relocate to another RV park that was closer to work. You are required to pay first and last months rent upon arrival at Cali Lake, which we did. We also had auto pay set up so our card was automatically charged each month. When we left on the 15th we were told by management we would be refunded the $825 deposit for last months rent PLUS a prorated amount for the remainder of the month which we had already paid, equaling almost $500. It took a month of run arounds between the owner and managers to finally get our deposit back and have yet to receive the prorated amount we are owed. We continue to get the run around or ignored by the owner, Stewart. The park has so much potential to be a really nice place, it's a shame it is ran so poorly.
