Calaldo's Express

The name Cataldos takes me back to the spot in Oildale that served up some pretty delicious pizza, so I was pumped when they opened up shop in my neighborhood. Decided to make an order on a random weekday lunchtime for a pepperoni pizza, half cheese. I opted to pick my pizza up and saved a few bones. The service couldn't have been more friendly. A young man who was so gracious and accommodating. Frank Sinatra sang the same line in a loop on a nearby TV, making my time there feel comedic. Sadly, my pizza wasn't like I remember it. The crust was too thick for me, personally, and the whole pizza was rather bland. As I was leaving, I saw a delivery driver off to deliver one of their famous giant pizzas and now I wonder if that one would have been more delicious. Maybe I'll try again.

Fantastic spot for pizza, salads, and sandwiches! The pizza is delicious, and I love that they offer beef pepperoni since I don't eat pork--it's a great touch that sets them apart. The fried chicken and potatoes bring back nostalgic memories of Shakey's. On top of the great food, the service is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for a casual, satisfying meal!

Good pizza and fast delivery. The name is misspelled in your Yelp listing so it doesn't come up when you search Cataldo's. Some customers may give up looking and go elsewhere. Just a heads up.

I just found out I had a new Cataldos in my neighborhood so I dropped in today. The whole place is very new but the pizza is exactly what I expected from them. The staff was friendly and I only waited around ten minutes for my pizza to come out. They've only been open for a week and they told me signage and more decorating and furniture is coming.

We had order their Weekend Speciality, which consisted of an XL 2 Topping Pizza and a 5 piece order of chicken and potato logs. We had chose pepperoni and sausage for the pizza, and it was truly amazing once we ate fresh out of the oven. We had also ordered the Chili Verde Mac n Cheese, Mozzarella Sticks, and the Raspberry Filled Chimichangas. The Mozzarella Sticks and Raspberry Cheesecake Chimichangas were immediately demolished as soon as they hit the table, they were really delicious and fresh. Mozzarella sticks were a really nice thick size and baked quite well that they had a nice crunchy on the outside with a nice warm gooey cheese in the inside. The raspberry cheesecake chimichangas, were filled with a nice good filling of cream cheese and some raspberry jam I believe, and it was also topped with powdered sugar and was incredibly good and not too sweet while having a nice flaky crunch outer layer. The Chili Verde Mac n' Cheese has a really nice kick of spice and was completely loaded with cheese and meat with the chili verde sauce, it was incredibly good when eaten fresh and also alongside the garlic toast it came with. The workers were incredibly welcoming and kind, and had give us nice service by offering us some ranches and ensuring everything was to our liking. The restaurant has a comfortable home vibe that I enjoyed, and loaded with some fans so I definitely didn't melt in the Bakersfield heat while enjoying the fresh hot food. ‍

Not good or appetizing at all. Will never order here again lol. Save your money!!! Not sure how they are in business but again this is my opinion
