Caesar's Deli

One of my absolute favorite places to eat. From cold sandwiches to hot Caesar's Deli knocks it out the park. Try the spicy chipotle and it'll blow your mind. The sandwiches are so good when my wife and I come we usually both order a different sandwich ask them to cut it in half and swap a half for a half with each other. This also might seem like a really weird flex, but best ice in town!

Their sandwich was great! I loved the bread and fresh ingredients. I could've used a little. Ore oil and vinegar, but maybe the bread would've gotten soggy. I definitely think they know what they're doing! The red potato and blue cheese salad was really good! It had red onions, blue cheese, and had a great bite to it, a couple of the potatoes were underdone, but it was still enjoyable. It was very busy, but the food came out fast! I loved looking at everything they had for sale such as meats and cheeses, can't wait to go back and shop! It was inviting and cute. My husband was disappointed I didn't bring home the pickled tongue. I'll have to post about that in my next review!

I have been coming to this location for the past 15 years and they are hands down my favorite sandwich in all of Bakersfield. Caesar's deli has quality meats you can taste and their flavors here are so good! There are two sandwiches here that I can not reccomend enough, the Caesar's special and the deep pit beef sandiwch. Both sandwiches are a 10 out of 10 and are so damn good! Of course the special is a cold sandwich and the deep pit is a hot sandwich so keep that in mind if your looking to order. This last time I went with a deep pit and that sandwich is HUGE. Packed with so much flavorful beef and the bbq sauce that is paired with this sandwich is amazing. I was so full when I was done eating, for $11 bucks, not bad at all. Overall, make sure to give this place a try. They are a Bakersfield Staple and it shows in their food. Lovely little deli I've going to since my college days. Never disappointed by a sandwich or slab or lasagna. Always fresh, always flavorful. Great service. Local gem.

I've always loved coming here for a sandwich .They have only a few sandwiches I will eat but for an Italian deli , it's not that bad ! The Venice or the Roma sandwich is gonna b my go to here and they also have quite a variety of salads to choose from that compliment your sandwich or your hunger for that matter ,!! It is quite a small place , so you may want to avoid high traffic times like lunch or order to go !

First time here... The place is really cute on the inside, and they offer some Italian specialties, like desserts, pasta, and tomatoes apart from the sandwiches and other foods. I wasn't sure what to order, however I had a specific sandwich in mind. I wanted something with Mortadella and cheese. The staff at the front counter was very friendly, and I told her that it was my first time in here, and asked her if there was such a thing where I can create my own sandwich. And she said that there is and it's called a CYO.I ordered a mortadella and smoked Gouda cheese sandwich on a toasted sesame hoagie roll with lettuce, mayo , and oil and vinegar. Was sliced on the thicker side, not the thin, deli style, which I love you! It is very good quality and very tasty. The cheese was not that great, so I took it out of my sandwich. They must make their own bread here... Because it was amazing. It was soft and crispy on the outside, and on the inside is very soft and fluffy and soaked up the mayo and the oil and vinegar nicely. The sandwich can be easily shared if you're looking for a snack and if you're hungry, it's quite filling. They do not skimp on the meat!! Because the bread is fresh and thick, the sandwiches would hold up pretty good on a road trip.Enjoy!

Caesar's has been a favorite since the 80's back when it was on Niles St. I love that the sandwich's still are made the same, please don't change anything, my go to is the Venice!Our cashier was a very friendly guy we ordered salami, ham and cheese to make a charcuterie board and he was making sure he sliced them just as we preferred. I appreciate his service and attention to detail.The only negative was the eating area was not clean, tables needed cleaning and the floor was a filthy mess.

Cesar's Deli has been my go to lately when it comes to catering! I will say the food is absolutely tasty and prices are great! The Penne pasta with the Alfredo sauce has been one of the top hits for sure! Whenever I've arrived with that pasta in hand you can literally smell the deliciousness as soon as I walk in. In the last two weeks I've ordered from here about 3 times and every office always asked where the food was from before I left because they enjoyed it so much. The sandwich platters are huge, and feed much more then you would think especially when paired with pasta. The cookie tray is also so good! So don't skip out on dessert if you're ordering from the catering menu. So worth it! The staff is also super great, and always provide serving spoons and help me carry out my order!

Sandwiches are good not what I expected but delicious nonetheless. Hidden Deli, their carrot cake was so delicious.
