"Love the egg rolls from here, and the kalbi beef was a stand out dish for sure. U don't personally like speing rolls, but my husband loved them. Very crisp and refreshing."
"I placed an order over the phone for seafood drunken noodles and thai ice tea.The order was ready in 10 minutes The drunken noodles were delicious, but the thai ice tea had alot of milk. The people there are friendly."
"Love the food! Veggie pho with extra baby corn and bean sprouts in a spicy veggie broth is my favorite! A little busy since #2 closed down but totally worth the wait."
"The food from this place is pretty amazing. The soup from the pho is so flavorful. I didn't expect a lot of flavor from the beef rib since it looks like a regular soup bone, but boy is it good. also, most pho places doesn't offer the wide flat noodles and display does! I highly recommend this place.Food-5Portions-5Service-4Value-5"
"This is a lovely local restaurant. The service is decent and attentive. The pho I had was pretty good. I like the broth, as there was no aftertaste, and the toppings were fresh. However, the meat was not my favorite. The ambiance is small and quaint, but the place is very clean and tidy. I believe this will be one of my go-to pho spots in town. PS, the Thai tea was delicious. I pretty much swallowed it. Nice place."

Ambiance is a little boring but the food is not!! Walked in a looked at the menu and had a hard time deciding, there was so many items we wanted to try!! We went with the beef pho, shrimp and pork spring rolls, bahn mi and Thai tea! The guy that took our order cost them the 5 star he was in total lala land and just spaced out! He forgot my sandwiches even though he asked if I wanted everything on it, I was waiting for it forever and went to ask and he never entered it for some reason by that time we were just ready to go! But even with my anger over the almost impossible mistake our food really was delicious and will definitely come back! Hopefully someone else is taking orders!

I love walking into this place! It's full of culture and really doesn't feel like it's in Bakersfield. Depending on when you go there's bustling all around with the cooking! Nothing too loud so you can carry out a conversation. There is an extensive menu but they all have their lunch specials they run! They're all around the wall so I advise you to look around. I think the prices are fair for the authentic taste. Their Thai tea is one of my top favorites in town. Love love love. Also you are able to call to order out.

Gotta say that the food is Okayy but the small business is very sincere and want to ensure we are happy with our food. The peanut sauce is good though.

Gave me home cooked meal vibes and a bit of nostalgia of how viet restaurants were growing up in SoCal.

Walked in at 7:24 I asked for a table for my kids and I and she tells me we're only doing to go orders. I drove 15 minutes to this place because we really like it but I'm pretty disappointed in their service tonight. I checked online before driving there and it says they close at 8pm! They should update their website to say they close at 7:20 pm, would have saved myself a trip.

I used to live in Koreatown and was fortunate to be surrounded by deliscious Pho restaurants, since I moved to Bakersfield I found that Pho 88 has some of the best Pho and it reninds me of the ones in LA. My favorite is the meatballs and steak! As for my mother(my usual companion) she loves the fried rice with chicken and shrimp, its so delicious! Also, i just tried the Gyoza and they were crispy and oh so tasty!Highly recommend Pho 88!

This is my new favorite restaurant. We got takeout and enjoyed every bite. One dish was grilled chicken with vermicelli and the second dish was fried garlic chicken with orange rice. I loved the flavors of both dishes. I'm looking forward to my next visit to try different dishes.

"I like coming here for lunch because their portions are big! I usually order a plain pho with all the fixings off the kids Menu and that does it for me. The staff is attentive and the young man who seats, serves and takes payment is always so polite and goes above and beyond. This is a Bakersfield staple, for sure. The only issue I have is the Bathroom. It's a little run down compared to the rest of the restaurant. They have an air powered hand dryer as opposed to paper towels. I can see the economical choice for this, however, I would prefer paper towels to open the door with after washing my hands instead of raw dogging the handle after washing."
"It's right next to mochinut, yay!! It's a nice spot for families to have lunch or dinner. Food is priced well compared to a lot of Vietnamese and Asian restaurants in town. We went for a quick bite to eat, so we didn't order any of their bigger menu items, but I definitely want to try their Pho and Vermicelli noodles next time. The service was also great. Our waiter was very kind and attentive."
"This place is amazing! We stopped by here for lunch and we were blown away by the quality of the pho. I got the house special pho. The broth is delightfully flavorful yet light. The service is top notch. Everyone here is super friendly."
"On a cold autumn evening, I was out riding up in the mountains and needed something to warm my core. Looking at Yelp and Google, the options were limited, so I figured some South-eastern Asian food would fit the bill. I had the kao soi and it was different from anything I've had in the past. Adding some of the spice at the table, it was just spicy enough and warm enough to make me forget the cold that I had been riding through all day.Service was attentive and the food came out quick enough. There were a lot of call-in orders while I was sitting there, so I could see how it might take a minute to get a large order fulfilled if you just walked in, but the people I saw leaving all had a smile on their face."
"SO glad there is a new option in town for Vietnamese food! We've had them twice so far and have enjoyed it! Does it rival little Saigon options, probably not. But is it a good for Bakersfield where we really lack Vietnamese food options? Hell yeahhhh! We have tried the following:Beef pho: generous portions, flavorful and hits the spot!Beef rice plate & pork rice plate: so good! They come on skewers, a side of rice & sweet fish sauce & some daikon + cucumbers. Portions are generous and was such a yummy lunch/dinner option! Eggrolls: not bad but needs some work the wrapper gets so soggy by the time we get home which is like a 15 min drive.Garlic noodles: bomb.com if you love garlic get this! Fried rice: on the blander side but still a yummy buttery fried rice. Nothing alittle chili oil won't fix! Follow them on IG/FB they are running some soft opening specials on right now. They are located in the same parking lot as studio movie grill & offer booth seating! We've only ordered for takeout but everything is always done by the time we arrive & service is friendly!Support Asian owned businesses!"
