"This is the second locations for Go 2 Girlz. This one is located in our wonderful downtown area. This store is adorable, quirky and just down right fun. I found so many Xmas gifts and it's only May. When you walk in to the left you will see all the vintage hard to find candy. They will assist you if you want to purchase some. T-shirts, stickers, candles, vintage clothing and games. Too much to write, just go in and enjoy. The other location on Curry ave is more furniture and this is the fun gifty items. ** they ask that you please wear your mask on your nose and mouth."
"Customer service was indeed welcoming. This store is FULL, vibrant, frilly, and feminine. It was interesting to browse. It's not really my personal style and everything was priced well above what other antique stores are charging, so I did not feel confident in finding something for me. However, it was really cool to see a Barbie case I had when I was 8 years old."
"Driving past this large storefront, there were random pieces of furniture outside and a BIG sign that just says, "Used Furniture". I had to check it out because it's kinda random and large so surely there would be some deals inside. It's actually a thrift store! I was happy to see half of the store is furniture and the other half is tools, trinkets, toys, kitchen gadgets, media, and it escapes my mind if there were any clothing racks but if there were, it wasn't much. My kids were intrigued and slightly horrified at the amount of large vintage battery operated Mickey Mouse plushies. My daughter noted they each had a sticker with a number on it and since one said, "Mickey #10", there must have been at least 10 of them there at some point. 10 of the same creepy old doll...We didn't have room in our vehicle for any furniture so we just looked at the other goods. It was fun! The prices are higher than Goodwill on most things that I thought were junk but then there were yet other items that I thought were actually under-priced. I bought one overpriced tea pot, one under-priced vintage Pyrex lasagna pan (Friendship pattern), and a very rare Gumby item that I scooped up while yelling and then apologized for being loud cuz I was full on excited. The two employees on hand kinda laughed :) They were just standing behind the counter watching us shop, which was odd but whatever! I enjoyed shopping here! It's a very quiet town, I guess at this time of year (there's a big lake, and it's March), so shopping here was peaceful--very different from shopping at thrift stores in LA and OC."
"Everything and anything you need for your baby. Used items but really nice . Come check it out"
"Came across this new business while in Old Town today. The shop has been open about 4 months now. They have new and gently used items and clothing for newborns up to junior sizes, there is also an area for moms-to-be. You will find toys, books, shoes and many other things for your children. This shop consists primarily of items brought in by local consignors. Great way to shop and support families in Tehachapi. Bring in your washed and gently used clothing and earn store credit. It's a win win.I met the owner Shell, she mentioned hours are a little sporadic. If you want to be sure shop is open, just give a call first. If you are looking for a valentines outfit for your kids, check out the rack out front for some cute things."
"This is not a thrift store--the name is misleading. This is a pre-owned fashion boutique, according to price tags. We weren't trying to hit up boutiques on this day, but most thrift stores in the area close really early, so we ended up here because they were open and we thought it was going to be a thrift store. Their stuff is nice, the store is very small, and I liked this one sweater but did not want to break my budget for it (trying to make responsible choices). Did not experience service and did not buy anything. There were several other shoppers there."
"Omg! I am obsessed with this place! It's like an antique mall! Tons of variety: vintage clothing, antiques, jewelry, furniture and my favorite purchase is milk glass! Definitely stop by and go treasure hunting! Nice staff and great service!"
"The Hermit House is a gem located in beautiful Pine Mountain Club, CA and just a stone's throw from the fabulous Bigfoot Café (coffee bar, fresh food made by an in-house chef, gifts and books) where I had been before checking out the Hermit House for the first time. I will definitely be going back to discover more of the treasures awaiting me... Leave yourself plenty of time to peruse all this cornucopia has to offer. Oh, and the service is wonderful too."
"This little shop is such a gem. My mother and I have found many many deals in here. The staff is friendly and helpful and very professional. The selection of clothing is amazing, with a wide variety of styles and sizes ranging from extra small to 4x. They also sell stunningly beautiful jewelry as well as home decor and accessories. They are very selective about what goes on the floor. Each item is inspected multiple times in order to ensure that only the best quality items go out to the floor. I would highly recommend that you stop in and browse around, you're sure to find something."
"Very good selection, good service! Store selection is curated so you'll be guaranteed you find something trendy and cute! Since it's curated, value goes up, nothing too crazy as far as price though, would definitely recommend checking it out!"

This fun store is attractively merchandised and has the prices you would expect at a curated vintage boutique. We didn't end up purchasing anything but we did find several interesting pieces of clothing, and G1 MLP. The taxidermy everywhere makes it feel like a quirky museum. They not only sell vintage goods but also new things like candy and little toys and gifts. There was a nice lady tending to customers, including us. This should be a stop on your visit to this quaint little town.

I came here back in October and what attracted me to go inside was the store window display. After coming into the store. I fell in love with the atmosphere. The owner (I'm guessing) was very kind and super knowledgeable about the items she had. They have so many neat things to look at and at reasonable prices. I bought a cool vintage card and a vinyl. Will defiantly come back here soon.

Such a great find in lovely Tehachapi! There are lots of books and toys and clothes, and it's very well organized and easy to look through. Shell and Hawk were so incredibly friendly. The toy train they gave to my little son gave him so much joy! He took it to the depot, played with it at the train playground, and took it to the loop too! This is such an excellent small business; I definitely recommend a visit here!

They're open 7 days a week! It's unusual for an antique mall to be there when you need it any day of the week. Sometimes I really do need to spend at least an hour shopping for treasures. They also have a large parking lot. The store is well lit on the bottom floor, but a little bit darker, as well as quieter, upstairs. Prices are typical for this type of shop-- if you find something you love, you'd probably be willing to pay their price. The front desk/cashiers are receptive and organized. The addition of a cute little coffee stand inside towards the front is such a great idea. All in all, everything about this place is customer-satisfaction oriented. My kids and I always enjoy shopping here.

"Me and my mom love going to antique stores, and this store is our favorite. The owners are super nice and there are a ton of treasures to explore. The prices are reasonable as well! I definitely recommend this being your first stop on your antique outings."
"Let's start off with the owner is very nice. She is welcoming and helpful. This place is so full of stuff and so crowded my anxiety gets the best of me. This probably doesn't bother others at all. It's just very congested. So I don't come here for that reason. The adjoining shop is for their delicious homemade chocolates. I have bought many gifts there. I highly recommend it. The candy store is decorated cute and so organized. Great place to get Christmas gifts or any occasions."
"Gem of a store. Birthday outfits, snow apparel, all types and colors of bows, toys, books, potty's, shoes. It's a consignment store as well, so you can find something different each visit."
"Donate your used items to them. They sell them and use the money to help get local men off drugs and alcohol. What a great organization. Their store is always clean and organized. Go shop there."
"Good vintage store, small men's area but larger women's area. Would come again and see what they have in store"
"What a cool find! Stopped on our way the desert to check it out and we were so glad we did! Run by a friendly couple and they have snacks, a museum of vintage stuff, spy stuff, gadgets of all sorts, and thrift stuff. Worth a stop for sure! See you next time!"
"So, a couple of us were driving through Mojave on a geocaching run and happen to come across this place out of the corner of our eye. We just had to stop! From the outside, there are all kinds of plane & helicopter parts, engines, a jeep, and a bunch of other stuff that only a crazy person would have to collect. But hey, we're going in, so what does that make us?If you like browsing through old militaria and weird stuff, you will love this place. I don't even know where to start! There's cameras, books, camo suits, gas masks, ammo cans, hats, caps, pins, uniforms, canteens, binoculars, all kinds of antique items, gold panning supplies (old and new), aircraft gauges, army boots, need I say more? One thing for sure, if you are looking for some type of camouflage clothing, THIS is the place to go. not only do they have a variety of items, they have it all sorted out ... Desert, Army, Navy, German, British, etc, you name it - must be at least 30-40 styles. Biggest selection I've ever seen!We spent about 20 minutes just wandering through but we didn't buy anything. We were on a mission, but we'd like to come back sometime when we have more time! If you have just 10 minutes, I'd recommend checking this place out just for the fun of it even if you aren't into this stuff. You won't be disappointed."
"This Goodwill has always been a good one for me; I've found many treasures here over the years. Goodwill shopping is not for the faint of heart, or those in a rush. To be honest, there is a lot of crappy clothing here. Many items are out of style, stretched out of shape or stained, any of which immediately disqualifies them from serious consideration. But for those who are willing to put in the time to hunt and pick through all the pedestrian items, there is always the opportunity to find the real gems. I spent 25 minutes there this afternoon and found only one item, but it was well worth the effort. I am now the proud owner of a Talbot sweater exactly my size that is in such perfect condition it looks like it has never been worn. And I purchased this beauty for $2.99 - SCORE! Last year I found a Kate Spade purse here for which I believe I paid $5. That's pretty hard to beat, and worth the time hunting and picking through the rest of their stock. So, if you've got a little time on your hands, come on down and check this place out, but only if don't wear my size ;)"
"I had driven by this place a million times and didn't know it was a thrift store/antique store/consignment store!!! Someone posted on FB asking for the best thrift stores in town and people recommended this place so I came in as soon as I could. Boy was I happy I did. I have been back a few times in the past few weeks - every chance I get! Love the variety and the changing inventory. Great prices and super cool stuff."
"The store can have some nice stuff but the prices are almost retail prices, some pants are 20$ and a little below but the other vintage pants are 60$ and up. They thrift and charge for more so if you like expensive vintage clothing then come here and maybe u can find something. Btw it's said the stores not a thrift store but a "secondhand" store so don't get it mixed up. Small men's area but larger women's"
"I got a sweater, 3 movies, a candle holder, and a purse, all for $4.50 total. That is fair pricing, to say the least. This thrift store does not claim to be fancy or cool in any way, so don't come with any expectations. They have everything basically organized and easy to see. It's not attractively merchandised, but they do have quite a bit to look at and any regular thrift store shopper will appreciate this place for what it is. They test all electronics before putting them on the sales floor. Their book shelves were surprisingly empty on the day of my visit. They had a bunch of different quilted Vera Wang purses that were cute and like new. They have lots of big furniture pieces, several from the 80s and 90s. Clothing has colored barbs to indicate price. When I asked questions about pricing, an associate was accommodating and helpful with her answers. We'll definitely be back."
"My SO and I frequented Marshall's and this store was never in our radar. Until recently when we went to T-Mobile and this store caught our attention. Out of curiosity, we went it and we were very surprised that this store existed. I talked to a nice lady who said this store has been there for 3 years now. Wow!!! I could have been selling or traded some of my branded items. Now that I have learned about this place, I will surely come back. They have a pretty good selection of clothes, shoes, and purses. Prices are very reasonable and they look great. Recommended. Happy thrifting"
"Found a super cute, little black vintage dress here for 20.00! Lots of cloths, fabric's, knitted hats and scarves.... a little of everything packed into this little mountain community gem!"
"Great service and awesome old timey stuff! Antique Asylum is a collection of indoor vendors with a great selection of antique, vintage and amazing one-of-a-kind treasures.Free on site parking. On the east side of 6th Street East. Estate sale and flea market fans will love it here. Think of a permanent slice of the Pasadena Rose Bowl on Sunday. Sprawling corridors and small stalls with Navajo jewelry, mid century furniture, old Amish quilts, and well-arranged antiques. I bought a lot of my furniture here. And. Milk glass. Furnishings. Vintage clothing. An oversized handbag from the fifties. Rare American-made guitar parts and instruments. A collection of vintage trunks. Gorgeous hand-made face masks. On my most recent visit I noticed a sign that read one hundred percent of the proceeds from certain items goes directly to Veterans in the Antelope valley. +100. I bought a bunch of military hats and helmets as gifts for my military friends and family. Very cool guys. I really love shopping here. Everyone who works here is very nice. I really appreciate all my treasures from here and everything that this place does for the community. Five Stars."
