"The prices are fantastic, and the employees were so helpful! We had come from Las Vegas to spend a night in Santa Clarita, and decided to come here based on the reviews on Google. I'm surprised it does not have more reviews on here because the prices are great--I got a great amount of plain glass baking Pyrex, a vintage suitcase in fantastic condition, and some NWT clothing for under $35 total. I was so impressed and if you are anywhere in that area, it is definitely worth the drive! It's not a large store but they have a lot of variety."
"So many good finds here! Well priced and friendly staff. It's a mess, but honestly it's worth some of the awesome pieces of clothing we have found over the years. We'll see you soon!"
"This is probably one of the better thrift stores in Tehachapi. It's organized and clean. Many years ago this place was a mess. I wouldn't even shop here. I think maybe new owners. The place is 100% better now. I will definitely return after seeing how organized it is."
"This is not a thrift store--the name is misleading. This is a pre-owned fashion boutique, according to price tags. We weren't trying to hit up boutiques on this day, but most thrift stores in the area close really early, so we ended up here because they were open and we thought it was going to be a thrift store. Their stuff is nice, the store is very small, and I liked this one sweater but did not want to break my budget for it (trying to make responsible choices). Did not experience service and did not buy anything. There were several other shoppers there."
"It's nice to know this little thrift shop is here. For those of us who rent cabins up in the forest and may have forgotten to pack something maybe to cook with or when the winter time comes around maybe we need just an extra jacket or something that won't break the bank. This little thrift shop is here where you're sure to find something. Yes most of the cabins come fully equipped with everything you need but it's still nice to know it's there , besides clothing, and kitchen equipment they have lots of book and games, so that you can spend those cold dark nights indoors with."
"Used to be good. Did it change management. Hardly any clothing. No public restroom. Disorganized."
"Great thrift store well organized great prices and a wonderful cause for the children. The selection was organized into junior, women's and men's which made it really easy to navigate through the jewels of a thrift store. They also had a nice display case full of costume jewelry that looked really interesting although it isn't anything I'm interested in. Thy clothes were so nicely displayed and clean looking. Did I mention the prices?Yes their prices are great for a thrift store, not overly priced. I really didn't check out much of the rest of the inventory such as housewares, but as I recall there was something on the other side of the store that may had something to that kind of stuff. Really if you are on this side of town you can not pass up this awesome gem."
"I've gone to the store many times and I've had great experiences the prices were reasonable and I found a lot here. Now I have no idea what happened but I talked to one of the employees and they say that there is a "pricer" that overprices everything. Cheap made in China plastic shoes go for $29.99?? Old beat up men's work boots with holes in them for $29.99. We saw items that are at Walmart for way less brand new. Now I no I can go somewhere else and not spend my money here but If everyone does that then this location is going to go out of business from lack of support. Last time I was in there was a leather couch for $100. This time I went in there was a leather couch for $600. I feel like they are in competition with the Goodwill. The Goodwill helps nobody they only make it's CEO richer. So what is the endgame with this store? Do they want to sell items or hoard everything? If things change I will change my rating. Because before.... I would've given it 10 stars."
"Very good selection, good service! Store selection is curated so you'll be guaranteed you find something trendy and cute! Since it's curated, value goes up, nothing too crazy as far as price though, would definitely recommend checking it out!"
"Baby Wobble kept coming up for me on the internet and socials so I finally took the time to check it out. It is a little difficult to locate if you aren't paying close enough attention, but parking was pretty easy mid day on a week day. The store is very clean and organized. I love that there is a play area with a window to see through for kids to play and have fun. The owner is extremely kind and you can tell she is very invested in making this a positive place! There was a very good variety of baby items, and what I mean by that is swings/seats/toys/etc. Unfortunately, I tend to be more of a clothing shopper at secondhand stores because I'm not always looking for baby items. I needed clothes and the service was so great, I really wanted to find something but the clothing was pretty limited amount per size, some of it was just too heavily used for me to see value in purchasing ( I need to to last possibly for another baby, not just for my current baby), and there just wasn't much variety to the style/colors of clothing either during my visit. Same situation for shoes which I also wanted during that visit. I will say everything was organized impeccably, which I also appreciated. I ended up buying a book I had been looking for anyways, but I wish I found more items so I could support this business more! Go check it out and see what you can find!"
"Amazing people and even better prices. The people that work there and the owners are very nice and helpful. They held some large items for us so we could pick them up a week later.I went in and they had some items unmarked. They explained to me that the owner had just obtained them and wasn't able to price them yet. She told me that she would call me when she had the prices for the items I was interested in before putting them on the shelf. Wow. She did. I wanted two of the three and she held those items for me until I could get there. The third one was a good price, but I decided not to purchase it because of the colors. My wife and I have shopped there probably 10 times. Every visit has been a great experience. If you want a good deal from good people, shop at Miller's Family Thrift!!!"
"I really like Sharing and Caring. It's the only place we take things we no longer want. I don't buy things very often from them, mostly donations. The price I feel is what the person at the front feels like at that moment. I absolutely love Ada that works there, so nice! The hours aren't very good. I wish they were open later in the day. Overall it's a great place."

I love this thrift store! I didn't know how to get into it but if you turn on E from 18th there's a small gravel parking lot you can park in and go inside. The people are friendly and I always find something there. They have tons of stuff!

This is a really cool thrift/antique store! They had lots of cool stuff. I believe the lady and man working there were the owners and they were so kind. They were happy to help and show us stuff and were not pushy at all. I can't wait to make another trip there, soon!

This is a great resource for our community. The store is well stocked with wrapping supplies, craft items and housewares along with clothes. I love donating here as it supports the animals directly at Shelter on the Hill. Money spent here also goes to the animals which is a win win when you find something you need/want. The volunteers try hard to keep things neat and rotate out merchandise. It's a small store but they do a lot with the space they have. If you have a need, check it out. You may find something special.

Can't say how much I love this place. Soooo many reasons. It's a huge, nicely organized thrift store. Things are well marked. Always stocked. Bargains. Plenty of shopping carts. The organization does spectacular work. Many of the people working there are re-learning who they are and getting back into life. Bonus: at the checkout, I can purchase meals for $2.50. I know that's where the money is going. And... if this isn't enough for you, they have an upscale boutique downtown on Main. It has pretty awesome things in it.Win-win-win

Few things: -Very organized boutique like environment.-Reasonable prices on very CLEAN higher end items. -Very friendly store staff (all volunteer).-Closes early.Tip: Because the store staff are volunteers and typically older women, watch your receipt as mistakes as your being rung up happen quite frequently. Getting charges reversed can be a nightmare. -has happened to me at least 3 times.

"I will be the minority on my experience. I found Sorel boots for just $8!!! I found many adorable dresses for $3 and new Victoria's secret underwear!! I have no idea why others feel they are over priced? huh? maybe because of new management? During lunch time everyone stops for prayer time. That is right before lunch. So no big deal but just heads up. Staff is super nice. The actual store is big and lots to explore and clean. They even had a wedding dress section. I LOVE this thrift store! Plus all proceeds go to a good cause to help others! So if you ask me its a win win situation. I shall return!! Love it! So my experience was I found the prices reasonable to dirt cheap. Maybe they have change their ways for the better."
"This place is so great! Second hand kid's clothes are well organized by gender and size. The first rack is seasonal and when I was in most recently had some adorable Valentine's and St. Patrick's Day clothes. As you venture more in they have regular clothing items. I always find something cute for my daughter. I've purchased Cat & Jack brand, H&M, Old Navy, and an adorable Seven for All Mankind denim vest. Score!!!They also have a variety of shoes, swaddles, bath items, toys, books, and movies. I also love their seasonal decor section. Lots of cute Valentine's Day items out right now--paper plates, wall decor, gifts for friends, classmates. Both visits to this store have been wonderful. I will continue to pop in and see what's "new" to me! Great staff and prices too."
"This is a true rummager's cup of tea. Nothing is easy to find. Nothing is easily accessible. It's piles of stuff, inside and outside. Despite the disorganization, we enjoyed shopping here. The people that run the place were accommodating to those asking for specific items. We would have liked having access to the DVD shelves but there was a mass of items blocking the area on all sides. They said stuff gets moved around all the time, so we'll check back in next month to see if we can have a better look. There are other buildings completely full of items that you can go inside out back. One of them had what looks like a pretty bad fire, and there were some melted and charred things still in it. It's a very interesting place. My purchases totaled $1. You cannot beat that."
"Business is closing and i can see why. Lots of old items exposed to the elements. Dusty and obviously used. It's like going to a junk yard or an abandoned property. Prices are good if you can find something worth taking home."
"Gem of a store. Birthday outfits, snow apparel, all types and colors of bows, toys, books, potty's, shoes. It's a consignment store as well, so you can find something different each visit."
"Love this hidden gem! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the selection was plentiful, and the finds were amazing. I will definitely be frequenting this thrift store when I'm in the area."
"We didn't have a lot of time to spend here but I wish we did. After visiting the Silver City Ghost Town, we headed back toward the lake and saw this store. It's a lot to take in and I can tell by the few racks I quickly perused that there were plenty of hidden treasures waiting for someone to find them. I did find my own treasures, though. I was shocked to find some gorgeous vintage lamps in working order for $9--not each but in total. Wow! We knew there would hardly be any room in our Forester driving home from our trip but we loved the lamps so we squished everything in there. I appreciate that staff leaves you alone and they accepted my debit card for payment. It was so quiet inside. No waiting in line either. They run a food pantry out of this place, too, and it seems they're always looking for volunteers. I'm glad a place like this exists. It was really fun to find such great items at nice prices. I hope they're still in business when I come back in the future!"
"Donate your used items to them. They sell them and use the money to help get local men off drugs and alcohol. What a great organization. Their store is always clean and organized. Go shop there."
"Good vintage store, small men's area but larger women's area. Would come again and see what they have in store"
"Love this store. Nice layout. Great volunteers. Lots of things to look at. Very organized."
"This Goodwill has always been a good one for me; I've found many treasures here over the years. Goodwill shopping is not for the faint of heart, or those in a rush. To be honest, there is a lot of crappy clothing here. Many items are out of style, stretched out of shape or stained, any of which immediately disqualifies them from serious consideration. But for those who are willing to put in the time to hunt and pick through all the pedestrian items, there is always the opportunity to find the real gems. I spent 25 minutes there this afternoon and found only one item, but it was well worth the effort. I am now the proud owner of a Talbot sweater exactly my size that is in such perfect condition it looks like it has never been worn. And I purchased this beauty for $2.99 - SCORE! Last year I found a Kate Spade purse here for which I believe I paid $5. That's pretty hard to beat, and worth the time hunting and picking through the rest of their stock. So, if you've got a little time on your hands, come on down and check this place out, but only if don't wear my size ;)"
"Two stars simply because they're a goodwill. They don't accept donations even though they have a sign for it. Their selection inside is never too great either. This is probably the weakest Bakersfield location. On top of that, they're very rude."
"This is a very cute antique store it has a lot of cute stuff some old some newer if you like antique stores I recommend coming out here and checking it out. Just not its. Super COLD. We're jacket. Other then that very cute"
"This is such a cute little animal-based shop!! Many items had animals on them, which were adorable. The lady at the checkout counter was very nice, and provided great customer service. If you're an animal lover who likes animal memorabilia, you should go to this unique store.P. S. All proceeds go to animals in need."
"This is long over due review. This is out in the middle of nowhere and if I am near by I always make an effort to drop in. If you can see passed the rundown downtown this little shop has alot to offer. I understand the financial struggle for some is real. However I find the prices reasonable! Especially if its of a rare item. Now, if you like to dress to impress then you might want to visit. This is where I found some amazing pieces. To me the prices are reasonable but everyone is different. I found an adorable tea pot and faux coat. This is one of my favorite thrifts in Cali. The actual shop is organized and it smells clean. Easy parking"
"So happy this thrift shop has finally popped up on yelp! The rumors are true it is not the most organized shop. How ever the treasure hunt can be exciting. Tehachapi has very little choices to thrift shops to none. This one is a more of a non-profit or a indie organization. The prices are reasonable and considering this is really out of the middle of nowhere. I have found many carving old knifes to other unique pieces. I found my daughter some funky juvenile clothing. Lots of glasses to lot of books. It really depends what you are looking for.I will bless them a five star all the way home and that is in Orange Co. So take it from a She-she girl that this thrift shop is a real GEM. Consider this one grandma's secret! Every time I visit I so look forward to my treasure hunt. Bring cash and all volunteers are super kind. ps. years ago Tehachapi had a Salvation Army Thrift shop and I dunno what happened to that! But it was a real bummer what it disappeared.p.s.s I have thing for rare spoons"
"I found that this goodwill was pretty organized. It is mostly full of clothes, so if that's what you're looking for then this is a spot for you. The employees here are probably the most friendly and approachable compared to the other locations I've been to. Things seem well organized compared to most goodwills I have visited. They also had quite a bit of toys/games and kitchen stuff. They didnt have what I was looking for on my particular visit, but there were some pretty tempting items. Much better than expected."
"This is a nice little thrift store. The prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly. They are being extra careful with covid right now, taking your temp and giving out face masks. My only suggestion would be to sort clothes by size. Would save some time. Saw some cute clothes, then checked the size and no go. I ended up going through faster because I couldn't stay long."
"Hands-down the best thrifting experience I've had in a long time. Staff was welcoming, prices were LOW, place was huge, items were nicely merchandised, organized, easy to walk through, prices mostly clearly marked, clean, fun, nice music, relaxing environment, and lots to see. Coffee mugs are 65¢, so how come Goodwill charges $3? VHS 25¢, which is a steal. My kids and I all found something to take home. They have a private parking lot, and the building is attractively painted outside, easy to find. A great thrifting trip!"
"I got a sweater, 3 movies, a candle holder, and a purse, all for $4.50 total. That is fair pricing, to say the least. This thrift store does not claim to be fancy or cool in any way, so don't come with any expectations. They have everything basically organized and easy to see. It's not attractively merchandised, but they do have quite a bit to look at and any regular thrift store shopper will appreciate this place for what it is. They test all electronics before putting them on the sales floor. Their book shelves were surprisingly empty on the day of my visit. They had a bunch of different quilted Vera Wang purses that were cute and like new. They have lots of big furniture pieces, several from the 80s and 90s. Clothing has colored barbs to indicate price. When I asked questions about pricing, an associate was accommodating and helpful with her answers. We'll definitely be back."
"Had some items to donate!! If you have items to donate go to the back! They have a garage where they accept items. I dropped off the donation, asked for a receipt and left! Pretty easy process. Did not go inside and look around! Rating 4/5 because the drop off area was not labeled / visible!"
"Stopped in during road trip south. GREAT store! A definite must for any thrift store shopper. There are several "antique" stores nearby, but stop into this place and give them your support. They have collections of toys, antiques, glass, jewelry and coke memorabilia. Take your time going through. Highly recommend this business!"
"We need more thrift stores in Ridgecrest but this place provided a fun and relaxing shopping experience today. It's a small-to-medium sized store with a bit of everything. It's very clean and organized. Prices are super fair, the way a thrift store should be (unlike Goodwill). I got some clothes, movies, and a puzzle there this afternoon. Service was friendly and laid back. Parking was super easy on the street. Their A/C is superb, as well."
