Carolyn P. "We came in for a cocktail about an hour before closing. Carrie was our Mixologist who made us the delicious Lavender Lemon drop Martinis this evening. If you haven't had one they are a must try. The ambience is Industrial Loungy. Great date night establishment or to meet up with friends."

rana l. "I had the best evening at Sorella's with my oldest girlfriend and bestest friend. At first we had a small wait to get a table but the teeny bar was a nice place to start off airing the vino for the meal. We were seated at a cute booth with a candle, which prompted me to turn and say to her that this was definitely our Galentine's dinner. The waitress Madison was prompt, well versed and absolutely pivotal or our enjoyment. She was so attentive and full of suggestions to keep the night flowing. It was a Saturday night and at first there was no music but then when there was -but it seemed like the soundtrack repeated after only a handful of songs. That was fine though as we did not really run out of things to talk or laugh about. We had amazing steaks, sides were "mid" but the desserts were so fun! We went with combining the Carmel Cheesecake with Bananas Foster."

Kelly L. "EXCELLENT Teppanyaki!!! The best in Bakersfield. This is a good-sized restaurant with a great atmosphere. Very cute decorations & even an indoor koi pond. The New York steak was phenomenal, along with delicious miso. We've had filet & lobster in the past, which was also delicious. Our chef was James & he was highly requested by the other patrons at our table. He kept it fun & personal. The rest of the staff was friendly & accommodating. Definitely the best spot for Teppanyaki!"

Bob W. "First, I just started my period today, so please take this with a grain of salt. First, the people are great! The food is great. The price fair for high quality food. So I guess my only gripe...so just be forewarned, they have gone to stand in line and order. Then go to your table. Otherwise a high class place, but for me that was a super low style move. I guess, welcome to the AV. So if your particular like me who needs peace and quite, you won't like standing in line behind every Tom, Dick and Harry, whose wife is a Susan, waiting for them to ask the 13 most stupid questions. Of course this comes while you are sandwiched behind some Loud Tom who is talking so loud on his phone reading the entire menu to his wife Susan, on the other end. I could barely hear the order taker or think straight. If I was really in Texas and could have shot the second Tom, I would've. That all said, the dude who brought me my beer and more limes was so kool i had to change this whole review to just beach about this one change I did not consent too, but here I am. And cuz of the beer dude, I upped my star closer to what they deserved. Ciao."

Andy R. "They've re-opened under new owners. Still the same marinade. (a plus)Steaks are now Harris Ranch beef and not Sysco. (another plus)As long as they keep adding previous menu items, they should do well."

Norman G. "Chef Lino's is a really great restaurant. Don't think you're going there for cheap food though. The prices are higher than the other restaurants in the area. We went for lunch and didn't really go to spend what we did. It was worth it though. The food was phenomenal. The steak sandwich satisfied my craving for steak. It was tender and the flavors were delicious. The garlic fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The jalapeño mashed potatoes that my boyfriend had was so good. I think that the decor was a little underwhelming for the price of the meal. It still looked like the bbq places that used to be in the same building. It seems like it wants to be upscale dining, but it's lacking in decor. The service was great and she met all our needs. She was very friendly and attentive."

Norm R. "A Hidden Gem with Amazing Food, Romantic Atmosphere, and Stellar ServiceBroken Bit Steakhouse is truly a hidden gem! While the space is cozy, it adds to the charm and makes for an intimate dining experience. The food here is absolutely incredible--steaks cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was calm and romantic, making it a perfect spot for a date night or a relaxed evening out. They also have a lovely outdoor seating area with fire pits, which adds a cozy touch for those who enjoy dining under the stars. One standout aspect of our visit was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly nice, welcoming, and attentive. Our server was knowledgeable and helped my fiancé and me pick exactly what we were looking for, which elevated the whole experience. Service was quick and efficient, making the evening smooth and enjoyable. My favorite dish was the Ahi Tuna Stack--fresh and beautifully seasoned with center-cut yellowfin tuna, creamy avocado, a bright gazpacho, and a perfect balance of chipotle oil, furikake seasoning, and soy ginger lime vinaigrette. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about it again! The restaurant also has a large parking lot with plenty of space, and while there are other small businesses nearby, they tend to close early, leaving the lot open for restaurant guests. One small critique would be the plating--it could have been more refined--but honestly, it didn't matter because we devoured every bite! It's worth noting that the restaurant leans more toward a bar-style vibe, so it may not be the best choice for kids, as the menu is more adult-focused.If you're looking for amazing food, attentive service, and a relaxed, romantic ambiance, Broken Bit Steakhouse is a must-visit. Highly recommend!"
