"Great pizza and wings! Just got done eating from Captain Tony's, and I have to say the pizza and wings we had were amazing. I went to this pizza place years ago and was not very impressed. But, there are new owners operating it now and they have made some great changes. This is some really good pizza, so do yourself a favor and give them a try!"
"Harris BBQ is hands down one of the best spots near my apartment. From the moment I walked in, the general manager greeted me with such friendliness that it set the tone for an amazing visit. The food? Absolutely delicious! Everything was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and exactly what I was craving. The service was quick, and my order came out in a timely manner, which I really appreciated. If you're looking for top-notch BBQ with excellent customer service, Harris BBQ is the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back soon!"

"The store is not inviting and you probably won't consider going in but let me tell you... It is the BEST Thai food in Antelope Valley!"
"Food was good, coleslaw too heavy on the celery. Service was very good. Pepsi too heavy on the semen."
"Food is delicious and fresh here. Was craving something simple and tasty so here I am (again). Lucky for me they have a few locations in Bakersfield so I am not too far from one. The wrap comes with hummus and tahini, lettuce, tomatoes, and sliced pickles. I'm ordered a side of the garlic sauce to pump up the flavor and also added a few peppers. Enjoy!"
"Good spot to stop by when you're in a hurry and want a good juicy burger. Location is right off the 99, what else can you ask for."
"Omg we found this place a couple years ago and dive out of our way just to eat hereArtbyjo documenting America, 8 years touring America and 5 times around. This the best restaurant in America"
"Cool spot, live music was great, wings were yum...overall decent spot....they do need to turn up the AC though :)"
"I love all of the healthy choices at Urbane Cafe! My favorite dish is the salmon bowl, but they also offer other options, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups. The cilantro torta and southwest are two of my sandwich go-to's. My son loves their cookies and flavored lemonades. The kids' menu has plenty of great options that kids will actually eat!The staff at this location is amazing. They are always very friendly and helpful."
"Their bread is just awesome. We now buy their soft baked baguette!!! The best!! Also had chicken salad sandwich, was delicious!!!The cashiers could use more happiness in their life though!!!"
"Paula, our server, was a plethora of information and help! We tried the trio sliders as we had never eaten hear but heard WONDERFUL things about this place-we BELIEVE this to be true. Paula even suggested the juju sauce, which is SPICY and maybe pair it with the taco sauce-it was BEYOND good and we DID COMBINE THEM!! We shall be back by ourselves and with friends to ENJOY a delicious meal again."
"The impeccable service and seasoned meats here set the bar incredibly high. This steakhouse will be our newest go to celebratory restaurant. There were two options: the full experience rodizio or the salad bar and side dishes only. However, when we were seated, we were immediately told the instructions for the full experience. Personally I would only do the full experience as the salad bar wasn't varied or tasty enough for the $34.95 price tag.The salad bar and hot foods were on the mushier side. I wished the sauces were formatted in a different format as the chimichurri sauce was very far from the edge. Hence, there was a high risk of cross contamination and spillage. The mustard pasta salad was bland and limp. The potato salad fared a similar dull taste and resembled a starchy lump. The tomatoes were grainy and dry. The pao de queijo was disappointedly under the ray of death so they weren't too hot nor crispy. I wished my party got to experience fresher baskets of bread.=FULL EXPERIENCE=We were told that there were 17 available meats but we only experienced some of them. However, we enjoyed how we got to taste them when they were hot and cooked perfectly.*Picanha: one of my favorites. The fat cap was rendered and seasoned well. The meat was medium rare, tender and juicy. This had the greatest beef flavor.*Chicken with Bacon: the chicken was tender but the bacon had a stronger smokey flavor. The bacon shone more than the chicken.*Pork Belly: my other favorite piece. There were bits of fat dispersed throughout so it was moist and flavorful. There was subtle crispiness from the fat browning.*Spicy Linguica: the spice was subtle and the casing gave a satisfying snap. The interior was juicy but it was on the saltier side.*Pork Ribs: surprisingly tender and fall of the bone. The sauce was a sweeter barbeque and the ribs were on the wetter side. There wasn't any smokiness, char or caramelization but the flavors and texture were still good.*Peppered Steak: on the tougher side but still oozed out meaty juice. *Garlic Steak: similar to the peppered steak only saltier. The garlic flavor wasn't very prominent and this piece left me thirsty. I would have preferred a garlic sauce as opposed to the concentrated garlic powder taste.*Tri Tip: the best option for a leaner cut. The meat was tender and juicy. This was similar in flavor to the picanha but without the fattiness. *Grilled Cinnamon Pineapple: the cinnamon hardened around the pineapple, offering a satisfying crunch followed by a gush of sweet fruitiness. The simplistically made this my favorite rendition from a Brazilian steakhouse. This was a great meal ender despite us getting flan afterwards. *NY Strip: this was a daily special. This was a leaner cut so the beefiness was prominent but I preferred the other meats with more fat.=A LA CARTE=Not included in the all you can eat experience.*Mojito: refreshing and citrusy. There was a good amount of alcohol included.*Pudim: great way to end the meal. The Brazilian flan was dense and creamy. There was a thin layer of caramel sauce on top but it wasn't too sweet. The portion size was nicely shareable between two people.Unfortunately, they didn't bring out the shrimp until we were full so we didn't get to try it. Otherwise the service was consistent and attentive. Our server even asked about which meats were our favorites so they could bring them back out for us. There were multiple groups celebrating birthdays and they brought out their staff to sing happy birthday. During an all you can eat experience, good service is the lifeline and this was some of the best service I've received. The ambiance was stellar and this was my favorite dining experience in the Central Valley. The meats blew the salad bar and sides out of the water so I would return just for that. Although this was a pricier option, the quality and service were 5 stars."

Visited Harris BBQ and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We love Harris Ranch and were hoping to love this place too, but it didn't measure up. The BBQ was dry, the mac and cheese tasted bland and generic and the potato salad tasted like it came out of a box from Smart & Final. Considering the high prices (spent over $60 for everything in the photo), I expected much better quality. Overall, it was not worth the cost, and I wouldn't recommend it. Super bummed

I want to start off by saying that this place has excellent customer service. The gentleman running the register who took my order was extremely friendly. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch early dinner. I picked up one of their beef kebab bowls although I've had plenty of their wraps, I have never tried one of their beef kebab bowls. The beef kebab was extremely tender and so flavorful. The bowl itself was extremely filling and left me perfectly content at the end of the mealThis place has plenty of seating to accommodate groups if needed.

Great owners always very nice. The food is also very delicious for me. I would always get a number one with a large Pepsi . Their salads here are also delicious and so are the onion rings. Well done there cheese sticks. And everything in between is always delicious.

"Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Waffles looked good too. Fast friendly service and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely recommend over the chain coffee places!"
"Best pizza ever!!! And I know Pizza!! My family has been doing pizza Fridays for the last 10 years, and this place is the best! I cant believe I didn't come here sooner!! Friendly atmosphere, and great prices! And that chicken!!! I will definitely be back!"
"I work near by and I like to go here on fridays for lunch and so far I've had enchiladas and a flatbread that were sooooooo good. It's so flavorful here, and they're quick on taking your order and trying to get it all out to you within less than 10 minutes :) would def recommend !"
"I'm am beyond PROUD, the courage to start a business is remarkable; to start a business during COVID is real metal! First off, such a welcoming space! Fresh ingredients, this place oozes of passion and excitement! After I ordered, there were so many activities to keep me busy! Puzzles, tic tac toe, etc So the cheese take an bake was supreme! Super tastey, 12 min on a pre heated convection oven was spot on and same for the pepperoni. As Gary says, " the ranch is Fresh and made daily". I have 3 peeps I shared this food with who wants to bring calzone and pizza lovers in. Can't wait to return my"
"The food is good. But, the cashier managed to offend both me and my wife independently. An attitude of contempt, no eye contact, and no effort to make us feel like customers. Based on my experience, I will be spending my money at the Jolley Kone a couple blocks away. Their burgers are a bit better, and every time I've visited, I was treated with kindness and respect."
"Giving King Leo's the five stars they deserve not because they are the old school or childhood pizzeria we grew up on but because they delivered on some good quality pizza. We ordered the special which was one X-Large Combination and a Large Pepperoni, we did order a large order of wedges but didn't care for them but this review is on the pizza and the customer service. The pizza was great, in my opinion it's a bit thicker than the old times but the pizza dough was good, toppings tasted fresh, not greasy and even better if you have for leftovers. As busy as they get the young staff handle themselves with great composure. Keep dishing out that great pizza!"
"I recommend this wonderful spot for sure!! It is local owed and the owner is a really awesome kind person with a wonderful personality and not to mention the food is awesome too."
"I know the place is fairly new to the location, but there wasn't any signage outside. The inside had very minimal decorations. It had a cafeteria vibe to it. Hopefully more effort will be put into the overall ambiance. My order took about 15 minutes to get, but I understand. As mentioned by many other people, the food is served in take away containers with plastic utensils. The food was tasty and I enjoyed it. I was full and satisfied."
"They let us wait for half an hour despite there were plenty of seats available. Unacceptable."
"Sushi was goodSashimi was goodCustomer service/greeting is lacking They need more help!!!!!"
"Los Arbolitos is a hidden gem.Great home style food and very reasonably priced.Don't miss the homemade Chili Rellenos and tortillas!"
"Not impressed with the food here. The service was friendly but nothing to brag about. The quality is good, you can taste how fresh the ingredients were but does not beat the competition in the sandwich game. It was too dry for my liking. There was plenty of seating and plenty of customers so I'm sure I must have ordered something that was just not as good. I would come back and give it another try."
"Great dinner. Wife ordered the light salad and I ordered the tri tip burrito... both super delicious.Never a bad meal at Jake's Service was friendly and fast.Ambiance was nice, quite, and clean"
"Ordered a poke bowl. Crab meat and sushi rice. $19.00? And it was 95% rice. It was the small, glad I didn't get the large. When they were over by Costco, a bowl was around 12.00. I'm not sure if I was just overcharged because I was never shown a menu, but apparently fake crab is more expensive than salmon!"
"I've been wanting to try West Coast Sourdough and I finally made it in. The only thing I knew is that sandwiches all come on sourdough rolls. I was all in. Their sourdough originates from a mother dough from 1995 and is 100% natural and preservative free. I ordered the 8" BLT which was made with delicious ingredients and the amazing bread. It was the perfect late lunch. Service was friendly and helpful in customizing my sandwich. The restaurant was spotless. The interior is a very nice size and features outdoor seating. I can't forget to mention the Lemon White Chocolate cookies. I would go back just for the cookies."
"Despite my dislike of pickles, I was willing to overlook the name of this deli and pick up our sandwiches from here for our picnic in Sequoia. I much prefer to support local chains rather and generally prefer the quality of them too. This spot was a great choice! My turkey sandwich was loaded with meat and all the other toppings I love were fresh. I love that they offered black olives. The only thing that could have made it better was if there was a variety of mustards available. For instance, I prefer a deli or spicy mustard to plain yellow but there's at least only one option listed on the online order form."
"This is the second time I ate here. This time the rice was cooked perfectly and everything was great. We wanted to try the Dubai chocolate which is what brought us in. I think next time I would get the chicken kabob dinner option as it comes on a kabob and I feel would be more flavorful and juicy that way and then just share it since it is a large portion. The kids are picky so daughter had cheeseburger which she said was good and other use the coconut shrimp and absolutely loved it. Definitely will be coming back."
"Not once in the 20 some odd years of working have I worked in downtown Bakersfield, but that changed this year and with that change came new food spots to conquer. One spot that is definitely one of my go to spots to grab a quick bite is Qwik Café. While I may have an hour for lunch, I don't want to be hanging out in the streets of downtown, I rather eat and relax with a small nap if possible. What I like most about this spot is how quickly things move, you jump in line, grab the food you want and the cashier is efficient in checking you out to be on your merry way. Their offering is not huge but there is a good variety and something for anyone, at least I think so. All sandwiches are cold but some of them can be warmed up like their Turkey Melt. My favorites have been the Turkey Bacon, Tuna Sandwich and their Cobb Salad. While they are quick bites, they are definitely not small portioned unless you opt for the half sandwich, half salad combo but even with that, it seems like a full meal and more. They have Zappo chips, fruit medley's, some desserts and even soup of the day and they are owned/operated by Sequoia Sandwich so you know the quality of them are excellent. As I mentioned previously one of my faves is the Cobb Salad, they jam pack that salad with bacon bits, ham, turkey and fresh veggies and you can't forget about the chopped boiled eggs, that completes it. They do offer several dressings but I only go for Thousand Island so I couldn't tell you exactly what they offer other than ranch and balsalmic. If you are in the downtown area, possibly serving on Jury Duty (LOL), Qwik Café is just a few minutes away with a brisk walk, you don't have to worry about ordering, you and can in and out within 5 minutes or less, all depends if you make fast decisions and be on your way back to enjoy that delicious sandwich, soup and/or salad!"
"First time here and we love it. friendly, clean & the food was delicious price was reasonable definitely will be back soon"
"Never disappoints!!! Many house made fresh and unique items. Today we had the house smoked pastrami on house cut fries...delish! And, house made meatball Sammie...yum!! The side salad a nice touch."
"AWESOME!This is the place that fell off my radar, unglamorous but Big in mouth-watering food. I'm in town briefly, It was open on New Year's Eve which I am grateful for. They offer comfort food at an affordable price that doesn't break the bank a crowd pleaser I adore a delicious spicy Pastrami! especially American Jewish hot pastrami. Since those are unicorns herein on the west coast. A hot one from a burger joint when you find one you put a pin on the map My husband got a burger that appears to weigh a pound along with some fat mound of fries good stop for all"
"After a number of visits to this eatery, I continue to be totally impressed. I mean totally!!! (Now does that sound like a "Valley" girl, or what?) Yes, friendly smiles, service, and terrific food. Fast, reliable quality and quantity, unlike their competitor whose name reminds one of a "submarine!" And one other biggie for all "eatery" goers...that is clean, spotlessly clean facilities that are up-to-date, well stocked and looked after on a regular basis. WOW! Way to go West Coast Sourdough!!!! The hits just keep on coming...and by that I mean GREAT music, too...a little something for everyone!!"
"Best carne asada in town. When I asked what their secret ingredient that makes it so good they had no problem telling me. It's always a fun place with a great menu and the atmosphere is always up beat. Service has been amazing for us , only had one time when we sat for a bit waiting for refills and our check but they apologized and we haven't had any issues since then. If your looking for good authentic Mexican food this is the place to go."
