The centerpieces looked magical with the pin spots illuminating them. The historical architecture of the venue was the perfect shade of white. When it turned into a dance party later in the evening the uplights changed different colors and strobed like a music festival to the beat of the music thanks to Nick! My guests were in absolute awe! The audio was also perfect especially considering working in a 20,000 sqft historical venue with 35ft tall ceilings and marble everywhere. We had 2 different DJs and very specific timing for the music, speeches, etc. They made sure everything was tested and perfect before guests arrived and for that I'm truly grateful. THANK YOU J&M!They went above and beyond to make sure my day was beautiful, memorable, perfect, and FUN! If you're in search for an AV Company, do yourself a favor and HIRE J&M EVENTS! I got directed to their client login site (awesome) and I was able to include music, change and edit the timeline and add special requests of music. That client site made it so easy to plan my party the way I wanted it to be. DJ Cali was my DJ, she showed up looking gorgeous for my fancy birthday and she was ready to hype up the party as needed. All the music I had asked for were played and during our special dance...the Dancing on Clouds added such an emotional touch to our heartfelt song. It was BEYOND BEAUTIFUL! Professional, Communicative, Efficient and Wonderful would be the best words to describe what you are paying for when You decide to book them for an event. My aunt and uncle wanted to throw us an engagement party and Michal was the perfect planner to do so. Michal was involved in every step of the process from picking out the caterer and scheduling tastings to organizing rentals, staff, flowers, decor, etc. The weekend of our party was going to be cold but not expected to rain, so Michal suggested adding more drapery to cover the top of our dinner/dancing area and I am SO GLAD she suggested it! The night of our party, it started to sprinkle and Michal and Yosi quickly were able to help save the night by running out to get umbrellas. Had the dining/dancing area not been covered, our guests would've been uncomfortable and cold. Overall our party was an unforgettable event and I am so thankful that Michal and Yosi were there to make sure everything went smoothly. Niki R. "I hired Neeru and Truly Beautiful Events to help out with event day management for my daughter's Arangetram so that I wouldn't have to be in event planner mode on my daughter's special day. Even though I needed her just for day off-- she inserted herself into my event plans in advance of the day. She went with me to finalize decor, and took all the vendors contact info from me so she could reach out directly and introduce herself to them as their main point of contact on that day. She kept in constant contact with me in advance -- and then, on the day off - she mostly left me alone to enjoy myself with friends and family and be immersed this special day for our family. She even went so far as to bring some décor from home as a backup and we ended up needing it. She didn't charge me anything extra for that. What I appreciated most was how she basically looked and behaved like a family member and not a hired event planner. She was personally vested in the success of the event. She was responsible for releasing the tables a few at a time for dinner so as to avoid long buffet lines and consistently I heard from my guests after the fact that they thought she was part of my family. She was the last person to leave that night after she saw to everyone's departure and ensured that the venue was the way we found it -- clean. I can't recommend Neeru and Truly Beautiful Events enough."

A lot of my friends don't have the luxury of choosing their own coordinator cause their venue provides their own coordinator. (It's like getting a court-ordered attorney who is there but doesn't really want to be there)..... Would you rather pay for your own attorney/coordinator who has who has your best interest as opposed to one who there just because? (If you're hell bent on a venue and they provide their own coordinator, then I'm sorry you're shit out of luck... Haha) The best thing about choosing your own wedding coordinator is you're in the driver's seat. The ball is in your court. The worst thing I could imagine is getting stuck with a shitty coordinator cause it came with a venue. Yet, that happens to a lot of my friends and people you know who on the day of the wedding, the coordinator just disappears and is nowhere to be found. This is your wedding. You should be in control of all aspects and the coordinator is no exception! We originally had gone with another coordinator but in the end we ended up axeing the other coordinator cause I'm about trusting my instincts and my gut and it was telling me to go with Claudia. We are super glad we did...We had a few initial meetings with Claudia at a nearby coffee shop to go over details and wedding rehearsal/timeline. She took detailed notes and is responsive to e-mail correspondence. She heard our suggestions and offered her own ideas but in the end she was respectful of our vision and aided us which is key.... She coordinated with the vendors, the venue, ran the rehearsal, and offered suggestions on the rehearsal dinner as well. She was extremely hands on which is the type of person you want working for you when it comes to your wedding. My super hyper critical unimpressed and usually overbearing parents were extremely impressed with Claudia as well and had nothing but nice things to say about her as well. Word to the wise: Choose a coordinator you trust and will know that will have your back on the day of your wedding. Claudia is seasoned and well under pressure and takes your suggestions to heart. There was never a time where we thought she was doing a sloppy 1/2 ass job. She was there from the start of when the venue opened and was one of the last ones to leave the venue at the end of hte night. I always judge a person on what they do not what they say and in that regard Claudia delivered as promised! Big ups to Claudia and her team for making our wedding run smoothly...J to the Y x 2"
