"EXCELLENT PLACE!! Driving home on the 99, we stopped here for an early dinner. Food was delicious. I had the Classic Tri-tip Sandwhich. The tri-tip was smoked perfectly, it was flavorful and tender. My friend got a Nacho dish with tri-tip and feta cream drizzle. And we tried the cheese curd - sooo good! You have to try it.Service was good. We walked up to the counter to order, then we sat ourselves. Workers were pleasant and the food came out in a timely manner. There is a bar area, but we sat at a booth near a window. The place was clean.Food is great! The salads are huge. I definitely need to come back when driving to SoCal on the 99, or in Kettleman City off the 5. It's the perfect pit stop to eat, shop, and relax."

"This is the second time I ate here. This time the rice was cooked perfectly and everything was great. We wanted to try the Dubai chocolate which is what brought us in. I think next time I would get the chicken kabob dinner option as it comes on a kabob and I feel would be more flavorful and juicy that way and then just share it since it is a large portion. The kids are picky so daughter had cheeseburger which she said was good and other use the coconut shrimp and absolutely loved it. Definitely will be coming back."

"This was a fantastic dinner spot on our motorcycle trip through the area. It was nice and warm inside to warm us up before going camping in Alabama hills. The restaurant is small inside but the circular design is very neat! We had a big table in the middle for all 9 of us. My hubby and I split the flat noodle bowl with beef, chicken, shrimp and veggies. It was delicious and they provide a nice big portion for the $21 it costs. The table also got some appetizers that were good. I loved the Chinese new year paper place mats and the decor within the round restaurant. Plus they provided fortune cookies at the end which is always a star in my book. I would definitely come here is you are looking for this sort of cuisine. It hits the spot during a camping trip!"

"Years long family tradition of coming here and I just don't ever tire of the Gateway. Depending on the time of year, the river might be rushing or slow trickle. The landscapes ever changing and admiring the gigantic boulders there just gives so much pause. They are awe-inspiring. Some of them are still jagged, but others are smoothed from the water. It's just an incredible location and I've yet to find anywhere that has a better view in Three Rivers. We've come for drinks or a quick bite to eat. No matter the season or time of year. This place is always a fit. Sometimes getting a table can be a little time-consuming, it's not the fastest moving place but it's worth the delay. Definitely recommend a seating that gives you a view of the river."

"Stumbled on this place a couple of years ago, and I always stop here if I'm in the area. The staff here is friendly, always, and today we got greeted and helped by the owner. Anthony is very friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Anthony didn't hesitate to recommend fan favorites, he took our order and repeated it to make sure it was accurate. Food took a bit of time, and it was worth the wait. The chicken tender was hot fresh out the fryer, and the sassy Mac bowls were on point. The place was packed and lots of takeout orders, everyone came and left with a big smile. We sat outside, enjoyed our food on the benches, and people watched as the sidewalk was busy.All in all I recommend this place for the friendly service, the good food, and the overall value for the portion."

"While visiting my grandma, my aunt called and told us we should check out the new Willie's location for brunch. My grandma liked the food but not the atmosphere at the old location, so we were both excited to try their new spot. We're now two fans of Willie's and will recommend it to other friends and family in the area.Willie's Cafe is a perfect neighborhood restaurant serving the Reedley community. Their new location is spacious, friendly, clean, and homey with fun decor. There's ample booth seating and a bigger room in the back for larger parties. Most diners are local and repeat customers. We found the service to be fast but not personable.We came for the food, and we both left full and satisfied! Willie's serves American and Mexican fare. I had the Machaca Chicken with Hash Browns, and my grandma had the Waffle Combo. The Machaca was well seasoned, the hot salsa added more flavor and kick, and the portions were giant. My grandma loves waffles and loves her combination. We both took our leftovers to go. Willie's is our new favorite restaurant in Reedley and will be on repeat anytime I visit her. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the surrounding area. Their new location is on G Street, and ample parking is outside."

Always friendly service.Then covid hit and we stopped going.Recently while my husband and I went on vacation the kids (adults) door dashed from here and raved about how good the food was but expensive. Brings us to today.We call in an order and a lovely gentleman picks up, I believe his name was Jim.We ordered Chorizo and eggs, hash browns and pancakes, French toast and I order the California Eggs Benedict. We took our time to get there and the courteous gentleman called to confirm we placed our order at the correct location because there's 2 places in the AV. That was so nice of him to call us and tell us our order was ready too.We head on in and it's clean and smells delicious. We're greeted by Jim who goes over our order and our total was something like $49.00 plus we gave them a $10.00 tip. Now the food,The California Eggs Benedict was delicious! It sat there a while because we don't live to close but the flavor of the hollandaise sauce soaked into the bread (English muffin) the egg was perfect topped with bacon and avocado. It came with home style potatoes but I gave those to the kids. My daughter had the French toast and she said it was the best she's ever had. The butter was so good and it came with hash browns. My son had the chorizo and he said this place is the only one to ever get it right. Just like he likes it! Can't wait to go back! I took a pic of the daily specials."

"Great bar bites in the old Muerto's location. Two Goats and The Goose has a small pub feel, especially with the larger back patio area closed for now. They have a full bar with bar seating and a few tables spread throughout. They do take reservations. The spunky bartender does all things (bartender and waitress). I started with a pineapple serrano margarita. I asked for less peppers to keep the margarita mild and it had the perfect amount of spice. There was a lot of pineapple though so it was pretty sweet. Someone at our table got the blackberry mojito and he commented that it was a little too blackberry heavy with muddled pieces in every sip.Everything we ate was good. I had a burger and it was a thick patty but cooked so well. The fish was moist and juicy and served well in both taco or fish and chip form. The friend cauliflower app was a great start and it almost had a fish like taste- my guess is they share a similar fryer. A little interesting that the food was served on disposable plates. Not what I was expecting based on the vibe. Overall, solid food!"

Good flavor and good amount of a serving. I'd definitely return for a drink and some pasta!"

So if you want to enjoy the weather or grab a drink or 2. We sampled a little bit of everything. What I forgot to get a picture of was our omelettes. "Love Love coming here when I'm in Bakersfield. The service was good. We got seated right away on a Monday. Though when we went on a weekend one time, we did wait about ~half an hour, but thats pretty expected for any brunch/breakfast spot. Anyways, I always order the cajun seafood omelette! (It isn't on the menu, but you can still order it) with potatoes & a biscuit + gravy. I'm not a biscuit and gravy person, but this one hits soo different. The biscuit is soft and moist and the gravy is sooo good! Will always come back when i'm in the area."
