Carolyn P. "I haven't been here in ages, but I had a great time. This was a special event of Blues Grass music put on by Guitar Masters. It was a tribute to the 100th birthday of Earl Scruggs with the California Bluegrass Allstars. Such talented musicians playing music that is very much a part of American history. It was a sold out concert and the place was packed. My server was very sweet and attentive, unfortunately I forgot to get her name. They had a limited menu for the event. I ordered the onion rings. OMG they were gigantic! They had a panko crust & were crunchy & delicious! Served with a Ranch dressing. I had some delicious red wine as well. What a great time was had by all."

Bellies full to the brim, but we wish we had more chambers in our stomachs to try something else... we had to order the fish N chips (on top of our orders), and it did not disappoint. The owner said we should try the fried okra too, but we had no room for it. The portion size is so big... we had to take our leftover food home. They cater to large families too.. there was a couple long tables they put together to accommodate 15 plus members. This place NEVER disappoints. The staff is super friendly and you can tell they love their customers. The food brings us back... but the staff adds that whipped cream and cherry on top! What do you suggest we try on our next visit??"

Anthony is very friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Anthony didn't hesitate to recommend fan favorites, he took our order and repeated it to make sure it was accurate. Food took a bit of time, and it was worth the wait. The chicken tender was hot fresh out the fryer, and the sassy Mac bowls were on point. The place was packed and lots of takeout orders, everyone came and left with a big smile. We sat outside, enjoyed our food on the benches, and people watched as the sidewalk was busy. All in all I recommend this place for the friendly service, the good food, and the overall value for the portion."

The tri-tip was smoked perfectly, it was flavorful and tender. My friend got a Nacho dish with tri-tip and feta cream drizzle. And we tried the cheese curd - sooo good! You have to try it.Service was good. We walked up to the counter to order, then we sat ourselves. Workers were pleasant and the food came out in a timely manner. There is a bar area, but we sat at a booth near a window. The place was clean.Food is great! The salads are huge. On a suggestion of a friend I ordered a Moscow Mule. Not being something I typically order in places other than Basque spots down in Old Kern, this drink topped them all. Seriously - fresh grated ginger, folks. Fresh! That makes all the difference in these relatively easy made drinks. If you're feeling especially sassy, try the Blueberry Moscow Mule. I hear they even add fresh blueberries if they're in season - yum!And for you Bleu Cheese Stuffed Olive fans, they have those too. So your favorite martini can be made right. Their food menu isn't huge, but there's plenty of yummy meaty and cheesy options to absorb those cocktails. While CraSh isn't open late, it's a great place to start the night with friends. Definitely will be my future first stop when bar hopping DT."

Jeanne W. "Iconic restaurant across the street from the 20 Mule Team Museum in Boron. It seems to be an older establishment. The menu is American and Mexican cuisine. There is something for everyone here.I had the Taco Salad. The flour tortilla bowl was freshly fried, crispy, and still warm. The ground beef in the salad appeared to be a hamburger patty that was broken up, not highly seasoned but tasting very flavorful. This restaurant is known for their burgers and I can see why based on the ground beef in the salad. (By now, I was kind of wishing that I had ordered a burger instead.) The rest of the taco salad was perfectly acceptable with fresh lettuce, pico de gallo, and avocado. A torta with carnitas was the daily special. The sandwich was very filling, with savory, good tasting carnitas. The meat was tender, too. There was plenty of sandwich for another meal. Salsa and chips were good. The homemade salsa tasted fresh and had a nice mild chile heat. Definitely get the chips and salsa as an appetizer.Service was quick and efficient. The dining area can accommodate larger parties. The ambiance had an older, well worn establishment vibe to it. This place definitely warrants a return trip especially in conjunction with a tour of the museum across the street. I will certainly try a burger the next time."

It is a $$-$$$ restaurant, so be mindful it's for a nicer dinner. They have a limited menu, but everything looks so good. We ended up getting mac & cheese, coconut shrimp, and zucchini spears for appetizers. I really like the mac & cheese and zucchini spears. So good!I got the salmon risotto and my partner got the sirloin steak with sides veggies. My salmon risotto came with a soup or salad starter. I got the clam chowder soup. It was really good! The salmon risotto is pretty good. The salmon was cooked really well. The risotto was very citrus-y. It had a lot of lime in it, which is not what I'm used to for risotto. Always friendly service. Then covid hit and we stopped going.Recently while my husband and I went on vacation the kids (adults) door dashed from here and raved about how good the food was but expensive. Brings us to today. We call in an order and a lovely gentleman picks up, I believe his name was Jim.We ordered Chorizo and eggs, hash browns and pancakes, French toast and I order the California Eggs Benedict. We took our time to get there and the courteous gentleman called to confirm we placed our order at the correct location because there's 2 places in the AV. That was so nice of him to call us and tell us our order was ready too.We head on in and it's clean and smells delicious. We're greeted by Jim who goes over our order and our total was something like $49.00 plus we gave them a $10.00 tip. Now the food,The California Eggs Benedict was delicious! It sat there a while because we don't live to close but the flavor of the hollandaise sauce soaked into the bread (English muffin) the egg was perfect topped with bacon and avocado. It came with home style potatoes but I gave those to the kids. My daughter had the French toast and she said it was the best she's ever had. The butter was so good and it came with hash browns. We shared the bang bang shrimp and those were so good! My salad was good, I felt it could've had a bit more vinaigrette on it. I tasted my husband's food and that was very good! Pasta was cooked perfectly! I do wish they had a cocktail menu. They only have a beer and wine menu. They do seem to have a full bar from what I saw. We just ordered a beer. The food was good, but the comfort of eating there was a little uncomfortable and annoying, but not too bad. It is a hotel restaurant so each experience will be different for everyone based on the guests who stay there. The people at the bar were very loud and kids were running around being loud as well. Also upon entering the dining area I smelled a strong odor of parmigiana cheese. I personally can't stand that smell! Not sure why that smell lingered the whole time we were there. I found it to be unpleasant. The service was good though! Also to add, their menu does change often. Some stuff stays, but for the most part they mix it up and have different things which is nice."

I wish I had cocktail sauce instead of tartar sauce and didn't think to ask if they had any.
