"Everything we had was so flavorful, unique and very creative with the plating! The indoor eating was a bit too noisy, so we ate outside. This will be an issue come summer unless they build a more enclosed patio and have misters."
"EXCELLENT PLACE!! Driving home on the 99, we stopped here for an early dinner. Food was delicious. I had the Classic Tri-tip Sandwhich. The tri-tip was smoked perfectly, it was flavorful and tender. My friend got a Nacho dish with tri-tip and feta cream drizzle. And we tried the cheese curd - sooo good! You have to try it.Service was good. We walked up to the counter to order, then we sat ourselves. Workers were pleasant and the food came out in a timely manner. There is a bar area, but we sat at a booth near a window. The place was clean.Food is great! The salads are huge. I definitely need to come back when driving to SoCal on the 99, or in Kettleman City off the 5. It's the perfect pit stop to eat, shop, and relax."

"I got a CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH and my sister got a COBB SALAD. I personally loved my sandwich it was really good. The fries were just okay, nothing special. The service was great, our server was super kind and calm. This restaurant was super cute and well decorated, I liked the way it was small yet they made it look spacious."
"This is the second time I ate here. This time the rice was cooked perfectly and everything was great. We wanted to try the Dubai chocolate which is what brought us in. I think next time I would get the chicken kabob dinner option as it comes on a kabob and I feel would be more flavorful and juicy that way and then just share it since it is a large portion. The kids are picky so daughter had cheeseburger which she said was good and other use the coconut shrimp and absolutely loved it. Definitely will be coming back."
"This was a fantastic dinner spot on our motorcycle trip through the area. It was nice and warm inside to warm us up before going camping in Alabama hills. The restaurant is small inside but the circular design is very neat! We had a big table in the middle for all 9 of us. My hubby and I split the flat noodle bowl with beef, chicken, shrimp and veggies. It was delicious and they provide a nice big portion for the $21 it costs. The table also got some appetizers that were good. I loved the Chinese new year paper place mats and the decor within the round restaurant. Plus they provided fortune cookies at the end which is always a star in my book. I would definitely come here is you are looking for this sort of cuisine. It hits the spot during a camping trip!"
"Years long family tradition of coming here and I just don't ever tire of the Gateway. Depending on the time of year, the river might be rushing or slow trickle. The landscapes ever changing and admiring the gigantic boulders there just gives so much pause. They are awe-inspiring. Some of them are still jagged, but others are smoothed from the water. It's just an incredible location and I've yet to find anywhere that has a better view in Three Rivers. We've come for drinks or a quick bite to eat. No matter the season or time of year. This place is always a fit. Sometimes getting a table can be a little time-consuming, it's not the fastest moving place but it's worth the delay. Definitely recommend a seating that gives you a view of the river."
"Stumbled on this place a couple of years ago, and I always stop here if I'm in the area. The staff here is friendly, always, and today we got greeted and helped by the owner. Anthony is very friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Anthony didn't hesitate to recommend fan favorites, he took our order and repeated it to make sure it was accurate. Food took a bit of time, and it was worth the wait. The chicken tender was hot fresh out the fryer, and the sassy Mac bowls were on point. The place was packed and lots of takeout orders, everyone came and left with a big smile. We sat outside, enjoyed our food on the benches, and people watched as the sidewalk was busy. All in all I recommend this place for the friendly service, the good food, and the overall value for the portion."
"Great place to watch your favorite sports and good Ambiece, food, music it was nice to heard this nice Band call Waterfall, Shanna O'Brien and tge other cute lady I think her name is Dede or didie but she play diferen instruments i love it miss the owner Mike just visiting for today leaving tomorrow."
"Seat yourself.Cute little diner farm vibes with a lot of rooster display.I ordered the farmhand special with cinnamon roll pancake, DELICIOUS!Perfect portions, the cinnamon roll pancake was a great dessert after the bacon/eggs/hashbrown. Hashbrowns were crispy & soft, eggs were cooked the way I asked. It does get hot in the restaurant though, but not as hot as it is outside. Overall great place for breakfast/lunch."
"Mango Haus in Downtown Bakersfield is such a special place! Located in the beautifully converted Hill House, it's like stepping into a tropical oasis, even though the surrounding area might seem a bit iffy--don't let that stop you. Mango Haus has come a long way from its early days as a vegan spot (with another name) in the Southwest, and you can truly feel the passion the team pours into every dish. Everything is made fresh, and it shows in the flavors and care that go into the food. With a great lineup of fun cocktails, it's the perfect spot to meet up with friends, relax, and enjoy the laid-back, vibrant atmosphere. Mango Haus has definitely earned a spot in my heart!"
"Great food,.Good liquor prices..Cute place !The jalapeño soup is to die for!The menu is has a lot of good choices each one very different. Also their lemon drop or Grapefruit drop are very good martinis.Sometimes over the weekends they get busy and there is a short wait time ,but it is well worth it!"

This place was better than I expected! We ordered the turkey bacon melt and it was so delicious! Whatever the sauce is they use was so good. It also tasted really fresh and what could be a very heavy sandwich tasted really light. Tony was our waiter and he was really awesome. He was attentive and kind. He brought out this really Delicious complementary appetizer for their 9 year anniversary it was goat cheese, olive oil, olives and just the best deliciousness! We would definitely come back!!

The Tri tip sandwich is my staple because it's so good! One bite and then there is color in the world again. Two bites and my wife is extra hawt sauce and pregnant. Three bites and I'm a millionaire with two pregnant wives. Imagine when I finish the sandwich? Whoops guess all the in-laws won't be coming home for Xmas because they gave me all their money. Tri tip sandwiches are sneaky like that. Great service every time we've been in there. The remodel is beautiful and very inviting. We visit fairly often and will continue to do so. Go order a cocktail and relax. Thanks bravo!

The 18hundred is an easy choice for lunch in downtown. Service today was topnotch and the food did not disappoint. Deviated from my usual salad option and instead had the sammy/soup combo. I opted for the turkey club and tomato soup.Food came to our tables pretty quickly. Was pleasantly surprised that the sandwich was a full sandwich. It was perfectly toasted, packed with turkey, avo, and bacon. I only could get through half and saved the other half for dinner. The tomato soup was thick yet smooth, and quite balanced. It ate more like a tomato bisque than anything. Yum.I've never had a bad meal here to date. Might come back soon.

Best Chinese Food in California.Point blank and the period. This was a delightful and unexpected top-notch final meal and excellent ending to an excellent year.En transit, from Tahoe to LA on NYE we were lucky enough to get a table right before the rush. This is clearly the local favorite and hands-down the best restaurant in Lone Pine & probably the best restaurant on the 395.First of all, the best egg drops soup I've ever had.Secondly, they make their own soy sauce, which is absolutely delicious. 12/10 for the hot and spicy shrimp!!4thly - no lie, the best orange chicken I've ever had.Last but not least, this was one of the most unique and amazing restaurants I've ever been in. Have to be honest, it's so small with so many tables packed in, even the bathroom space is super small so that you literally feel like you're eating in a restaurant in New York, that might not be everyone's slice of pie, but it made me feel like I was in Manhattan and honestly that feeling is magical.I would call this a Destination Location restaurant.Extremely highly recommended

Amazing location on the Kaweah River about 200 yards before the entrance to Sequoia / Kings Canyon National Park. The view from the outdoor dining area is memorable. Service is friendly and attentive. However, it did take almost an hour for my French Dip. They were kinda busy...but in truth I think another server grabbed it for their party. All the meat is from nearby Harrison Ranch so it's fresh and the French Dip did not disappoint. And when they say famous potato salad, they mean it.

Their burgers are so good! I got the ghetto burger and my husband got the Angry burger. He's super picky with burgers but he said it was the best burger he's ever had in Bakersfield! The fries are also super crispy and yummy. The hot wings are actually really good and I'm pretty pick when it comes to hot wings. We came here for my birthday and our waitress was super nice and friendly to our kids. I brought our toddler and older kid and they loved the pizza. Price was reasonable and service was fast. We were there about 30 minutes after the live music started & my toddler was dancing a lot and had a good time! He loves any loud music lol. Overall it was a great experience, I can't wait to come back again!

"Service was good, I have no complaints about it at all. She even slipped me an extra cookie at the end of the meal. The place is clean with plenty of seating. I came in here to write a review because the Cajun chicken sandwich might've been one of the best sandwiches I've ever had and I walked away wanting another one."
"The food was great and Laura's service was incredible. Wil come back again. The ambiance is adorable"
"Came in to have a nice cool drink and I was so happy to see my Bartender Jamie is phenomenal very professional and serve you right. The whole vibe is amazing this time I'm solo but between the good music and great sports on I'm chillin. I must say you come here you won't be disappointed at the bar food is good too but this round I'm just sipping."
"While visiting my grandma, my aunt called and told us we should check out the new Willie's location for brunch. My grandma liked the food but not the atmosphere at the old location, so we were both excited to try their new spot. We're now two fans of Willie's and will recommend it to other friends and family in the area.Willie's Cafe is a perfect neighborhood restaurant serving the Reedley community. Their new location is spacious, friendly, clean, and homey with fun decor. There's ample booth seating and a bigger room in the back for larger parties. Most diners are local and repeat customers. We found the service to be fast but not personable. We came for the food, and we both left full and satisfied! Willie's serves American and Mexican fare. I had the Machaca Chicken with Hash Browns, and my grandma had the Waffle Combo. The Machaca was well seasoned, the hot salsa added more flavor and kick, and the portions were giant. My grandma loves waffles and loves her combination. We both took our leftovers to go. Willie's is our new favorite restaurant in Reedley and will be on repeat anytime I visit her. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in the surrounding area. Their new location is on G Street, and ample parking is outside."
"What an unexpected lovely dinner we had there! It was our lobby bar at the hotel we stayed and a quick dinner choice . We had the wings, fries and herb roasted airline chicken. Everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Portions were great! Cocktails were perfect as well. Negronis were made to perfection! Service is wonderful as well! Would definitely go back!"
"I love all of the healthy choices at Urbane Cafe! My favorite dish is the salmon bowl, but they also offer other options, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups. The cilantro torta and southwest are two of my sandwich go-to's. My son loves their cookies and flavored lemonades. The kids' menu has plenty of great options that kids will actually eat!The staff at this location is amazing. They are always very friendly and helpful."
"Fast paced with great service and no nonsense dining. Great coffee and diner type food. Great place to eat!"
"This is my top go to spot when I want a great meal and great entertainment. the staff is very attentive and quick to keep your glass full. The ambiance is romantic and quite special. This is a great place for a first date or anytime. They bring in top entertainment on occasion and this is cool because it is quite inanimate and you feel like a VIP."
"Every Sunday we use to go to Scramblez after church. Always friendly service. Then covid hit and we stopped going.Recently while my husband and I went on vacation the kids (adults) door dashed from here and raved about how good the food was but expensive. Brings us to today. We call in an order and a lovely gentleman picks up, I believe his name was Jim.We ordered Chorizo and eggs, hash browns and pancakes, French toast and I order the California Eggs Benedict. We took our time to get there and the courteous gentleman called to confirm we placed our order at the correct location because there's 2 places in the AV. That was so nice of him to call us and tell us our order was ready too.We head on in and it's clean and smells delicious. We're greeted by Jim who goes over our order and our total was something like $49.00 plus we gave them a $10.00 tip. Now the food,The California Eggs Benedict was delicious! It sat there a while because we don't live to close but the flavor of the hollandaise sauce soaked into the bread (English muffin) the egg was perfect topped with bacon and avocado. It came with home style potatoes but I gave those to the kids. My daughter had the French toast and she said it was the best she's ever had. The butter was so good and it came with hash browns. My son had the chorizo and he said this place is the only one to ever get it right. Just like he likes it! Can't wait to go back! I took a pic of the daily specials."
"Great bar bites in the old Muerto's location. Two Goats and The Goose has a small pub feel, especially with the larger back patio area closed for now. They have a full bar with bar seating and a few tables spread throughout. They do take reservations. The spunky bartender does all things (bartender and waitress). I started with a pineapple serrano margarita. I asked for less peppers to keep the margarita mild and it had the perfect amount of spice. There was a lot of pineapple though so it was pretty sweet. Someone at our table got the blackberry mojito and he commented that it was a little too blackberry heavy with muddled pieces in every sip.Everything we ate was good. I had a burger and it was a thick patty but cooked so well. The fish was moist and juicy and served well in both taco or fish and chip form. The friend cauliflower app was a great start and it almost had a fish like taste- my guess is they share a similar fryer. A little interesting that the food was served on disposable plates. Not what I was expecting based on the vibe. Overall, solid food!"
"I haven't been here in over 20 years! And it looks exactly the same. And that's okay. What has not changed is the good service! The staff was super friendly and gave great service. We actually went for a private event: a bridal shower. There was a private area upstairs and we were able to order from the "design your own pasta". The food was delicious and I was pretty impressed. Good flavor and good amount of a serving. I'd definitely return for a drink and some pasta!"
"The fast food is great it's a hidden gem! I had a $10 Philly Cheesesteak which was much much better than $22 7 inch crappy overpriced sandwich from pink lunch truck SIZZLIN BUNS on Rosedale food court. I went with my family to carousel and we spent around $32 plus a banana split. Customer service was kind and attentive even though busy. will recommend will go back! Thank you"
"Best eats in town. Family owned by wonderful people. The food is great and this place is a staple in my neighborhood. If your passing through, stop by for a drink and get my favorite Avocado Burger, can't go wrong. If your from here you're probably already a regular. If you're not a fan of burgers and Super cold soda, get Chinese food."
"When I'm craving a cherry Pepsi or a REAL vanilla coke this where I go. None of that drive thru crap this place is the real deal! Classic and greasy American grub and cheap too. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. The burgers are great and the shakes are the best!! I know the area is a little.. Meh. But please... Give this place a shot!I've been eating more and more at Buckos lately and can't believe I haven't reviewed. Haven't even had time to take a picture because it is so good it's gone by the time I think of it. Buckos Jolly Cone, 4stars!!"
"Food is great and service is great. Marissa is amazing. Always friendly and attentive. The food is great and they just remodeled the place and it looks great!"
"This joint is the middle of the Hood! But god is it good! I went ahead and tried the number 11. Western Burger. I can't even explain how good the burger was. Amazing food. Taste delicious! But be warned it is the hood, hood! Just dont get out ur car, have it in Driver even when waiting and you should be good."
"Came here for their breakfast buffet today. Everything was delicious and the service was too. They don't have the middle booths anymore, they put in tables and made it more open. Great idea! When we were leaving they already had a waiting list going. We got there right at 10am when they opened. They do have a bar and patio area you can eat at too. So if you want to enjoy the weather or grab a drink or 2. We sampled a little bit of everything. What I forgot to get a picture of was our omelettes. They also make fresh pancakes, French toast, and corn tortillas. Enjoy!"
"Love Love coming here when I'm in Bakersfield. The service was good. We got seated right away on a Monday. Though when we went on a weekend one time, we did wait about ~half an hour, but thats pretty expected for any brunch/breakfast spot. Anyways, I always order the cajun seafood omelette! (It isn't on the menu, but you can still order it) with potatoes & a biscuit + gravy. I'm not a biscuit and gravy person, but this one hits soo different. The biscuit is soft and moist and the gravy is sooo good! Will always come back when i'm in the area."
