"I love that this place is open late was actually heading to Boba time but it closes early. But my daughter recommended this place since we live down the street. So we drove out and the place was really cute, clean and comfy. So we ordered the basic Açaí bowl and 2 dragon fruit bowls. The young lady at the counter was very friendly. The only issue I had is that my bowl barely had any açaí, but it was full of bananas and strawberries and granola. Every bite was delicious but not worth every bite . I will be coming back but maybe next time checking my bowl before I leave the store."

We always get the large shaved ice, don't have a favorite as they're all really good. They always have new flavors posted on the wall, I try to get the new ones everytime we come in. You see all their topping available behind the counter and the whole crew working together to get everyone's orders done. I like that they offer water while you wait and that they have a Fuzzball table for people and kids to play. We really enjoy the vibe and atmosphere here plus the ice cream is delicious. The customer service was simple and helpful. Maybe the largest Dutch bros I've ever seen! I'm used to the small drive ups in Nor Cal. This location is great and has really great window / doors that blast natural light into the beautiful industrial cemented walls. I guess there's plenty of Dutch bros in Fresno and neighboring cities. None in LA. To my surprise, I was greeted with a warm smile and hello from the girl at the counter when I walked in. There were already a few people ahead of me, but she still made the time to greet me. 5 stars for customer service!The shop is larger than the normal mom and pop donut shop. Several tables available to sit at and enjoy your sweets. The shop was also super clean. Large variety of donuts to choose from. They do not have just the traditional type donuts. Made it a bit confusing to choose because they had all kinds I wanted to try. Guess, I will have to return to try everything else I wanted. What I did eat was yummy. Boston Crème was very good. First time I tried a Maple Custard filled donut cause I had never seen one before. It was delicious too.Overall, I was very pleased with this initial experience at Highland Donut. Prices were very affordable too. Quite nice especially considering how expensive everything has been getting. I will be returning."

My god I hadn't had one of those since i was a kid!! It brought back so many memories for me!! My mom...yep typing this part teary eyed i'm way too soft geez!! She used to take me to Kmart every week when i was a kid and get me a slush puppie and popcorn an I'd sit in the cart and enjoy my snack while she shopped it may seem like a small thing but to me It's everything memories are all i have of her....That watermelon Slush puppie made my entire weekend!! And telling my son that story and it making him smile in that moment these are the things that matter memories and love and family!!
