"Be sure to follow on Instagram to see where they're set up on the day. Daily locations and hours vary. The two locations are Panama or Niles, typically a little after noon to sell out. Cash or Apple Pay only, no cards / no tap. The aguas frescas are all top notch. Order the jarrita loca for a real fancy treat with all the fruit and candy fixin's in a fun barrel container. A regular large drink comes with candy straw. Drinks are customizable. I also highly recommend the Banana Cream Heaven! So good. It's strawberries, bananas, blueberries with granola and cream. I have no complaints for the LA dog or asada tacos. I'll order them again. This family owned and operated company is outstanding."
"The Pink Fishtail has an amazing selection of traditional Cajun seafood. We tried the fried catfish, shrimp and jambalaya. All were spot on and very well spiced making for a great food experience. By far, the Cajun Mac & Cheese is my favorite with andouille sausage and shrimp. Good luck eating just one side, I recommend the large, cheers!"
"If your gonna have a food truck you gottahave a better attitude at all times. Cashiergave a little skunk face because i didn'twant to pay $8 for 2sodas. Sorry my badPlus we didn't get our Birria sauce withour Birria tacos :.Lets be friends i love tacos lol! But the food was good"
"An impromptu UYE occurred post-Yelp Elite Event: Limo & Lights - enter Tacos Los Cunados! After plenty of drinks, food, and fun with my fabulous Yelp Elites we were in some serious need of tacos. Let's be honest, when do you not need tacos? The ever-amazing Elite squad member, Maria N, recommended Tacos Los Cunados and off on our Elite caravan we went. Tacos Los Cunados is located in front of the old Pearsey Pager's rental building - I'm just as surprised as you that they are still open! Only when Pearsey's closes do the Tacos come alive! But it's definitely worth the wait. Everything we tried was totally on point. But the real winner, in my humble and honest opinion, was the Tacos al pastor. It's rare to find quality al pastor done the right way (see Maria N's review for details) and boy it's better than right! We came when the weather was close to freezing and even though our teeth were chattering our bellies were happy. There aren't many things that I'll stick out for the cold, but Tacos Los Cunados is one of them!"
"I have tried everything on her menu and everything is finger licking GOOD! The secret ingredient in all her food is the LOVE that was passed down from "Mami Nena" the inspiration behind the name "Nena's Kitchen" All I can say is FIND them and TRY them, your taste buds will thank you!"
"I kept driving by these guys, located on Brundage, just west of Oswell, wanting to stop in, but never did until today. Big mistake. We'll be back! We got our tacos to go, but saw the food coming out for people who were eating there. Some of the nicest presentation I've ever seen at a taco truck. Beautifully painted terra Cotta plates, artfully arranged food, fancy cut cucumbers,...Now, I can appreciate pretty food, but it's GOT to taste good, or I'm out. Well, our fish tacos were good, no doubt about that. The menu is extensive, so I'll be forced to return over and over again to try more of the menu. Darn. No, really, if you like Mexican style seafood, give them a try. You'll be glad you did."
"Quick and friendly service but they don't speak English. Delicious food. Reasonable prices ($12.99 for regular Carne asada burrito.) No place to sit nearby so we ate in our car."
"Amazing cheesesteak great bread and good service. Stop in for a lunch at this food truck in the car park"
"Literally the ABSOLUTE BEST TACOS I HAVE EVER HAD! I live in Bakersfield and will start driving up to Terra Bella a lot more in the summer and we wanted to find a good place to get lunch while we were out there... and there are NOT many places to eat there but man this place... just amazing. The best flavor ever and their tortillas are warmed in oil so they are slightly crispy. We had 2 Asada tacos, 3 Cavesa tacos, 2 Lengua tacos and a ceviche tostada. Guess how much? Nope, $10.50!Best believe I will be driving 45min for tacos from now on. They do have outdoor seating, they take card but you have to pay inside the liquor store, and lots of parking."
"Food was delicious. We ordered carne asada and chorizo tacos. They had plenty of meat with a good spice. They also included radishes, cucumber slices, grilled onions and a hot chili on the side. The service was efficient and super friendly. Their location is right on the highway with picnic tables to enjoy the food before getting back on the road. We will definitely go back and try out more of the choices of food they have on their menu. ."
"Wow!! What a great place. The food is amazing and fresh. The service was perfect. Thank you guys very much. Great experience for me and my son."
"Had the churrasco over the weekend and every single item on that plate was delicious. I told my friend, I'm not sure how much I paid for this plate but it was worth every penny. To the point that I woke up this Monday morning craving it and that's how this review happen. :)."

This food truck style business is located on rosedale hwy now; they may move around, so check their location on social media before driving thereI'll start by saying the drinks were yummy and the large is very, very large! I got the cucumber fire water and it was sooo satisfying! My main complaint is that the drinks are very full and they don't have lids or straws so its difficult to take on the go...

I wanted to try the place out a couple of times before reviewing it but today really pushed me to write this review. I think they're only open certain evenings but I know for sure Thursday through Sunday. Not sure about the other days. I'll find out for sure (and update here) next time I go because there WILL be a next time!! Their tortas are so good! They have a good layer of melted cheese that isn't common at other trucks and I love them for it. Their Al Pastor is made the traditional way, on a skewer with pineapple and onions between the layers of meat (see my pictures). Very tasty meats! Even their basic asada is very good! My favorite meat though is their carnitas. Seriously. Try them. These are real carnitas and they are sooooo so so so good! It's chopped a little bit and includes pieces of cueritos and buche, even in the tacos! Oh, so good!!!! TRY THE CARNITAS!!!!! Also, don't forget to taste the carnitas. And maybe a carnitas Torta or burrito. Or tacos. However you like, just try them! If you've ever eaten carnitas straight from a "caso," these carnitas will bring back amazing memories! Yum!They also have aguas frescas that come in what looks like one liter bottles. They have Horchata, Jamaica, and Guayaba flavors and are a BIG hit. Every time I've gone they've been busy with hardly any available seats but they still manage to get the food out to you quickly. Try them. They are awesome, fast, and the food is so very good! They have tables that are covered to protect you from the elements. You'll be back, just like me! Can't wait to see you there! We'll be best of friends because of tacos! That's the best way to become friends isn't it?! ;)

Some of the best overall Mariscos in all of Bakersfield!! The servers were extremely polite and respectful, and greeted my wife and I with a smile throughout the entire experience. It was a cold night when we stopped by, but the employees and owner made sure to make us feel warm and welcomed as they rushed to turn on a gas heater near us for warmth. We got the mojara combo 2, Camarones a la diabla, oysters, cóctel preparado. Everything was amazing and will definitely be going back soon!

Omg. I literally just went to this food truck not even 15min ago...and damn! That was the bests torta and tacos my husband has had in a long time! The salsa! Bruh! And they gave us a tostada with beans and grilled onions with a grilled Serrano. OMGGGG, that was so good!

Philly's Best Cheesesteaks in Bakersfield sets the bar high for Philly cheesesteaks. Their thinly sliced ribeye, grilled onions, and gooey cheese on a roll deliver an authentic and satisfying experience. This spot captures the essence of this classic sandwich, making it a must-try for any cheesesteak enthusiast. The service is great, couple welcome you and get your order out in a timely manner. Centrally located so you don't have an excuse of how far it is, go try them and let them know Stephanie Nava recommended them!

"I was waiting for a food order, saw this cute little establishment, and decided to give it a try. The girls offered recommendations and suggested this off the menu item. So delish! Would definitely recommend when wanting to try a new drink."
"Amazing food! I'm from San Diego originally and these are by far the best tacos I've had from Visalia to Fresno. The service is great. You can definitely taste the authenticity and love that goes into the cooking. Would definitely recommend and way better than Ortegas. Recommend the Al pastor, birria, lengua, tripas! You won't be disappointed. I wish I took a picture but we were enjoying our food. Will definitely be back to try the torta."
"Don't let these other food trucks fool you, there is only one authentic Mexican food truck: The Tipsy Moon. From innovative ideas to traditional classics these guys never disappoint and never miss the mark when it comes to flavor. If you haven't tried them yet, I feel sorry for your taste buds. Best thing to happen in the Antelope Valley. I love the vibe these guys bring and they're all so friendly. And if you get lucky you might even meet Mama Maria and Papa Juan at a pop up!"
"This is my new favorite birria spot! I hesitated sharing this gem because i love it so much and wanted it all to myself, but I always go early so I get the best part of the pot so be sure to go early!Their menu consist of tacos, menudo (tripe soup), birria de res (beef stew) and birria de chivo (braised goat). Their birria de chivo is my favorite because the stew is delicious with the perfect amount of chilies and spices; and the meat is super tender. To go with all the goodness they make yellow homemade corn tortillas! They have a nice spot with a roof top to sit and eat with tables placed 6 feet apart for social distancing. However, I prefer to take it to go and place it in a bowl and add all the toppings that make it so pretty and enhance the incredible flavor of the birria."
"Food was good, coleslaw too heavy on the celery. Service was very good. Pepsi too heavy on the semen."
"I wanted to like this place. But there were several warning signs.First, no menu, no listed prices, no mention of any drinks. Mexican places are notoriously sloppy about this kind of stuff but geez, they usually make some kind of effort. And the meats they offer are carne asada, barbacoa and cabeza. I love carne asada, but the other two? ...not my favorite. And their hours. They open up about noon and shut down at 5PM? You shut down before dinner? How does that work? I tried one of each of their meats. And what did I think? Pretty much what I expected. I liked the carne asada but disliked the other two.The gal was a sweetheart and I loved that she encouraged me to wait in the warm car and she was willing to bring my order to me. But when there's a gal making killer tamales just down the street, skip this place. Go somewhere else instead."
"If you're a fan of baked potatoes then this is it! My comadre runs the southwest market and I saw this truck at the event and I knew I had to check this out. I know baked potato is basic, but there's nothing basic about their baked potato. That thing is HUGE!!! My husband, son and I made a big mistake by getting our own and we could not put it down. I think it took me 4 days to finish mine haha. They do not skimp! You think it's gonna be dry when you get to the bottom, but it's buttery and they hook it up.Service was fast. It took them about 10-15 min to make all 3 of our baked potatoes and they even had a line when we went. Definitely recommend that you check them out. Make sure you have an appetite or make sure you share with a person or 2. Not sure how long they've been around or where else their truck posts at, but I would love to come back.If you're able to see inside their truck you can see they have a little assembly line going on to stay organized. I saw 3 people working the truck, but I could be wrong. Bakersfield needs more food trucks, so I'm wishing and hoping for this trucks success!"
"Driving into the area where my husband was directing me to go... I was very hesitant! Drive through this cyclone fencing next to this abandoned restaurant. Are you sure ??? I am glad I did!! We saw the set up and it looks much more inviting by their setup. We ordered chili chicken it was tasty and kind of sweet. The garlic naan was delicious. We ordered samosas but they were quite different from what we were used to. These samosas had yogurt, chickpeas, red onions and cilantro on them. They were delicious. We had a side of rice that had very good flavor. They gave us some rice pudding that had a nice delicious flavor. We will definitely go again."
"Yum!! My colleague suggested this place and I was like, "why not??" I love a good food truck. We passed it the first time, so keep your eyes peeled. I ordered the taco plate with one grilled fish and one seasoned pork taco. We had to wait a bit, but that was because of a fairly big order in front of ours. Well, it was worth the wait. The grilled fish was excellent and the seasoned pork was super delicious! I also enjoyed the beans, although I wasn't quite as excited by the rice. Honestly, this hit the spot after a long drive through Death Valley."
"This is now my favorite taco truck. They are there everyday til 11pm and their food is just amazing. Try the fried plantains With their signature sweet sauce it's so good."
"I was brought here by my friends and really enjoyed their food but let me tell you that the service is amazing! I not only got my order fast but the people are genuine and honorable. I left my sunglasses by accident and went back the next day to see if they had them. I was surprised to see that they found them and kept them safe! I tried to tip them big for that and they were so humble. I appreciate the two workers that were there. Did not catch their names but they are so kind and helpful!"
"Hands down some of the best Bierra I have had, also comes with a cup of consume. My favorite item off the food truck."
"This truck is definitely what Bakersfield needs! If you haven't checked them out yet, then you're definitely missing out! They are usually on the corner of Allen & Rosedale parked by the RiteAid, but you can also find them sometimes at the downtown market or in the southwest summer market also ran by the downtown market. I do know they are at CSUB also sometimes, but I don't know what their schedule is.I'm definitely a fan. They don't have a huge menu, but their food is delicious. I saw on IG they had kimbap, but I don't see it on their menu. My youngest loves kimbap so if anyone knows if they have kimbap, please post your pictures :-) or let us know if it's a secret item.If you haven't tried their food yet then you're definitely missing out! If you love Korean food then this is the truck. I need to try other items, but for everything I have tried it's a 5 star truck for sure!"
"Found this spot doing a drive by and I decided to pull an Anthony Bourdain and pull over and give it a try. We tryed tha carne asada taco and texture out of this world. Fresh handmade tortilla. We also tried the birria with rice and beans and it was on point 100 fresh tortilla. Salsa fresh horchata... we devoured every thing and we will be back. thank you Martin'"
"dood, good tacos, get or at least try 1 of the chicken tacos. pollos for you diehards. you wont regret it."
"Where do I start? This place was recommended to me by my good friend but we're from the valley but he said it was worth the drive. So we went ahead and did it.Let me just say, I'd do the drive again ANYDAY. This is coming from someone who has never even been a fan of mariscos. Since trying it, I've already made the drive a few more times and it's better every time.Their tacos are cooked to perfection and are easily the best tacos I've tried, even better than tacos el venado or Don cuco which was my previous favorite. The people working here are also very kind, warm and make you feel welcome. Since I originally was not a mariscos fan, I was very picky with what I wanted to choose and they were very patient and helped me decide as well. I stand by my word that you will not be disappointed if you come try their food. It will be worth your time i promise! Thank you EZ mariscos team! :)"
"If you love real seafood, this is a must. BYOB, great service, clean restrooms, and food was amazing!!"
"Well, here we are after about an 8-month hiatus from writing reviews I find myself with the itch to write again. That what cause the desire to share my experience is when you find either great food or excellent customer service, that is a two-part definition of Taqueria El Jalisciense. My wife found out about them through a friend, we followed them on Instagram which is our go to platform for foodie journeys. Disappointed to say that Yelp has lost its way of bringing new business to light especially in the foodie culture. Covid really created a wedge into life for a lot of people, but I am glad that we are finding our way back to enjoying meeting new people and experiencing some of the best food in years. As you know Bakersfield is highly saturated with Mexican cuisine ranging from pop-up vendors to local food trucks on the daily and our special go to for dining out. But when you find one that has people with such great passion behind their food, that is an incredible experience for a foodie.Taqueria El Jalisciense food truck is a bit of a drive coming out of the southwest area near Sams Club but heading up Panama and turning left onto Union Avenue, you'll quickly forget the 10 minutes or so it took. The drive back home to enjoy the food seemed longer as you inhale the beautiful aroma of birria tacos, the essence of the consommé and the freshly made torillas, truly does make your mouth water while driving.Anytime we visit a new food truck or pop-up vendor we always buy several items which we share them with our two sons. We bought a couple of quesa tacos, tripa tacos, birria quesadilla, steak tacos and a Burrito Jalisciense Special (details in a bit about this burrito).I could highlight each item, trust me each one has the worthiness of individual review but there were two items that was outright delicious or how the youngins say, BUSSIN!First are the steak tacos, no I am not talking about carne asada either. These are thick cut steak tacos with pickled red onions, cilantro, diced white onion on this green salsa that just explodes in your mouth with each bite. The steak is extremely tender, I could eat 12 of these alone with a cold corona and lime. The second item I had to carry over majority of it to my lunch the next day because I was full of the other stuff we tried. The Burrito Jalisciense Special is a trio of protein, in fact a surf and turf if you will. You have the rice, beans cilantro, onions, and they all a supporting staff to the thick cut steak, the hot link and shrimp in this burrito. Every single bite into it just pops with flavor. Most places use the protein to support the rice and beans, here you are treated a delight and a smiling tummy after each bite.I raved about the food now let's talk about the people who own and operate the truck. Now forgive me since I do not retain names well unless I have long interactions with you. However, the lady taking orders was friendly, offered suggestions based off answers we gave on our likes and dislikes for food and had no issue telling us about different items on their menu. The cook, who happens to be the owner was friendly and you can see his gratitude in his cooking but how he thanks customers. He often posts on Instagram different items they sell, reposts what his followers post when visiting them and always keeps his following up to date on time/date they are open. They do cater and just by the looks of the videos, they do a great job, and the food is consistent. That is another thing, when places can put out consistent food you know they care about what is on the plate for their customers.I do not see this for all 5-star reviews but after reading this you better give them a visit, otherwise you are missing out on one of the best food trucks in Kern County hands down."
"Best Taco Truck in Bako. Yes, I just went there. There are infinite amounts of taco trucks in and around town and I have tried a good amount of them and this stands out for two reasons. The food and value. I have been here a few times and everything I have got or tried is tasty. I have had the asada burrito, chicken mulita and al pastor taco. The asada burrito is by far my favorite as it chock full of meat. The beans and rice are almost an afterthought in their burritos because there is so much meat. Most places (trucks or restaurants) fill their burritos with the beans and rice as that is the cheapest element of a burrito. Not this place! I would say it is 80% beef and 20% B&R. Most importantly, this burrito or any other will only set you back $5! Yes, only $5 which beats any crap meal you can get at KFC, Carl's Jr, etc. The staff is friendly and the salsa bar is great. I am a green salsa fan and theirs does not disappoint. There is a seating area under a tent so you can eat there if you're not into eating in the car. I have even brought in a beer once to go with my dinner. The only knock on them is that it opens at 4pm so no lunch if you were planning that as you read this."
"Best hot dogs and customer service I've ever had!Great price too! The owners are such nice people and make you feel valued!"
"The sweet older gentleman that owns and runs this coffee stand is incredibly attentive and makes great coffee! I got a vanilla latte and it was fantastic. The stand is in his front yard which has cute tables and a great outdoor atmosphere. Took a little longer but we'll worth the wait."
"During my physical therapy session next door, I decided to give a try to a remarkably clean taco truck. It served me a delightful torta and burrito, satisfying my hunger and leaving my stomach happily full. I am coming back. Good food!"
"These are some of the best chilaquiles I've ever had! They are jam packed with flavor, I got the chilaquiles torta. The torta can definitely feed two people it's so big! The staff is super quick with getting your order out. It may be a food truck but they have a small indoor space where you can eat your food, it's cozy."
