I spoke with the owner about bringing my children over for a field trip and he opened at 9am just for them. He is the nicest guy and cares about making his customers happy! On the older side of town off Palmdale blvd. Many years ago it used to be ihop. Indoor tables and waiting area with bench seats by the entrance. Order over the phone for pick up to avoid the wait. "I visited Dulce Canella during a food truck night at a local park. As a person with a mobility disability requiring use of a mobility aid, I was worried about ordering from the food truck because of a grass parkway barrier in front of the ordering window. The windows of food trucks are also intimidating because of how high they are when seated on a mobility aid and can cause a bit of anxiety. Food trucks inherently require extra attention to serving their guests with mobility disabilities. Fortunately, Juan of Dulce Canella, finds importance in assuring accessibility to his food truck by making accommodations to the ordering and pickup processes. Juan was very welcoming and took my order and brought my order out to me while I remained safely on the level sidewalk with my mobility aid. I was extremely satisfied with my experience at Dulce Canella. The service was only bettered by the delicious churros, which I believe to be even better than a Disney churro as they are fresh tasting, not oily, and have the perfect crunch and texture. I'd rank Dulce Canella's churros #1 out of any churro I've ever eaten. I also ordered a vanilla milkshake, an iced vanilla coffee, and a fruit flavored iced tea. My family raved about all three. I loved the iced coffee and was glad I didn't go through with my plan to buy a pumpkin spice latte at a famous coffee shop, but instead decided to try Dulce Canella's coffee. It is so good that I wish I could have one of their iced coffees every day! Juan said the hazelnut coffee is very popular. As for ambiance, the Dulce Canella truck is beautiful and has a simple menu full of wonderful treats and drinks. Dulce Canella appears to be popular with the crowd and deservedly so. As a passionate advocate for persons with disabilities, it is important to me that businesses are accessible so everyone will have full and equal enjoyment of their goods, services, facilities, privileges, and advantages. It made me happy to know Dulce Canella has a policy in place to provide access to the local disabled community."

Both were served warmed to perfection which made them even better.The oreo cookie and creamy frosting had great flavors and were not too sweet!! The cookie was very soft and cakey! I loved the oreo pieces and cream frosting on top.My boyfriend and I both favored the peanut butter cookie as it was very warm and soft giving it a really nice texture. It also had a very good, real peanut butter flavor! We ordered online for pickup and they were made fresh and ready by the end of the 15 minute wait time, so the service is pretty fast and efficient :) ! Also crumbl has an adorable ambiance. The decor and color scheme are dainty and cute! The inside is very clean and displays all the beautiful cookies in clear view. The packaging is also lovely. The easy-to-handle, closable box is so pretty, it's simple and pink!! Kail and I had such an amazing experience at Crumbl! We definitely recommend coming here :)"

"The impeccable service and seasoned meats here set the bar incredibly high. This steakhouse will be our newest go to celebratory restaurant.There were two options: the full experience rodizio or the salad bar and side dishes only. However, when we were seated, we were immediately told the instructions for the full experience. Personally I would only do the full experience as the salad bar wasn't varied or tasty enough for the $34.95 price tag.The salad bar and hot foods were on the mushier side. I wished the sauces were formatted in a different format as the chimichurri sauce was very far from the edge. Hence, there was a high risk of cross contamination and spillage. The mustard pasta salad was bland and limp. The potato salad fared a similar dull taste and resembled a starchy lump. The tomatoes were grainy and dry. The pao de queijo was disappointedly under the ray of death so they weren't too hot nor crispy. I wished my party got to experience fresher baskets of bread.=FULL EXPERIENCE=We were told that there were 17 available meats but we only experienced some of them. However, we enjoyed how we got to taste them when they were hot and cooked perfectly.*Picanha: one of my favorites. The fat cap was rendered and seasoned well. The meat was medium rare, tender and juicy. This had the greatest beef flavor.*Chicken with Bacon: the chicken was tender but the bacon had a stronger smokey flavor. The bacon shone more than the chicken.*Pork Belly: my other favorite piece. There were bits of fat dispersed throughout so it was moist and flavorful. There was subtle crispiness from the fat browning.*Spicy Linguica: the spice was subtle and the casing gave a satisfying snap. The interior was juicy but it was on the saltier side.*Pork Ribs: surprisingly tender and fall of the bone. The sauce was a sweeter barbeque and the ribs were on the wetter side. There wasn't any smokiness, char or caramelization but the flavors and texture were still good.*Peppered Steak: on the tougher side but still oozed out meaty juice. *Garlic Steak: similar to the peppered steak only saltier. The garlic flavor wasn't very prominent and this piece left me thirsty. I would have preferred a garlic sauce as opposed to the concentrated garlic powder taste.*Tri Tip: the best option for a leaner cut. The meat was tender and juicy. This was similar in flavor to the picanha but without the fattiness. *Grilled Cinnamon Pineapple: the cinnamon hardened around the pineapple, offering a satisfying crunch followed by a gush of sweet fruitiness. The simplistically made this my favorite rendition from a Brazilian steakhouse. This was a great meal ender despite us getting flan afterwards. *NY Strip: this was a daily special. This was a leaner cut so the beefiness was prominent but I preferred the other meats with more fat.=A LA CARTE=Not included in the all you can eat experience.*Mojito: refreshing and citrusy. There was a good amount of alcohol included.*Pudim: great way to end the meal. The Brazilian flan was dense and creamy. There was a thin layer of caramel sauce on top but it wasn't too sweet. The portion size was nicely shareable between two people.Unfortunately, they didn't bring out the shrimp until we were full so we didn't get to try it. Otherwise the service was consistent and attentive. Our server even asked about which meats were our favorites so they could bring them back out for us. There were multiple groups celebrating birthdays and they brought out their staff to sing happy birthday. During an all you can eat experience, good service is the lifeline and this was some of the best service I've received. The ambiance was stellar and this was my favorite dining experience in the Central Valley. The meats blew the salad bar and sides out of the water so I would return just for that. Although this was a pricier option, the quality and service were 5 stars."

In the same setting, couches setup facing each other may tell you that this is a tightly neat community that enjoys a good conversation over a good cup of coffee. So every time I pass through a town, I try to stop for a cup of coffee and spend a little time at the local coffeeshop. In my last trip, passing through Bakersfield, I decided to look for a new coffeeshop that I have not tried yet and decided on Summit Coffee. The coffeeshop is across the street from the Canyon Hills Assembly of God church. It is located in a big building (bigger than I am used to seeing local coffeeshops) and has a nice outside seating area.They offer a variety of pastries and more importantly coffee drinks at very reasonable prices. I had me a latte and enjoyed it. The coffee tasted very good and the latte was done the right way. The young lady who served as the barista was very nice and polite. I also noticed a couple of gentlemen sitting there and working on their laptops. Apparently the Café offers free Wi-Fi as well.Altogether a very good place to sit and enjoy a good cup of coffee."

When we got up to order, I was indecisive because the flavor I came from was rotated out! BUT they had the stuff to make it and legit made it for me!!! Another really fantastic thing is that they have waffle cone chips! For those people like me that love a cone but can't eat it at the same time! Being on the west side of town may not be so good for business, but it is located next to a pizza place so hopefully that will attract customers We were the only customers on a hot Saturday in summer. The employee was friendly - I practiced my Spanish skills with her while we sampled some unique ice cream flavors like gansito. They do serve hot dogs, tortas, nachos, milkshakes, etc. I did see they had some Aguas Frescas that I'd try next time when I ordered food. The place was very spacious and the open kitchen was very clean. Only thing is the employee had the music blaring while we were in there which made it very difficult to hear myself and made me feel rushed to leave. I will be back to try some more items. I think supporting mom and pop type places is especially important in small towns."
