"I knew there was a bakery past the Dollar Tree and the Grocery Outlet but I haven't really been inside. A very colorful and welcoming patio greets you and when we stepped inside, you'd see all these little birthday-themed merch that made me and my daughter take some time strolling before we realized that we went there wanting to try their baked goods. It was hard to decide if I wanted a cupcake or a bar but I chose the bar since I wanted to enjoy my treat at home. I was thinking of Bakersfield heat and didn't want to risk having melted icing when I get home. So, went for their billionaire bar and boy it got me hooked! It was so rich and decadent with the right balance of sweetness, I could probably eat one everyday! To be honest, I think everything on display would be as equally delicious and we know there's only one way to find out, this bakery deserves a return trip!"

"Beautiful presentation for your guest to receive there lunch in a cake box with ribbon and a fresh rose! Paula signature rose on the top of each lunch will wow your guest. When they open the box there is a sandwich, salad and fresh fruit.The salad had peaches and boysenberry with a incredible dressing to the side. Was simply delicious I wish I had taken a picture of the inside."

"Thursday is food truck day downtown. On this fine Thursday, I walked by and noticed this adorable food truck. The tiny truck is aqua, with a little window showcasing the assortment of beautiful cupcakes. There is an adorable girl swiftly managing the long line of people. She even matched the adorable theme! She was wearing cute little overalls, with perfect eyeliner and a little bandana in her high ponytail. The whole thing just looked like a movie. Some of the cupcake flavors are: Rocky Road, Strawberry Sweetheart, Tres Leches, Birthday Cake, Banana Cream Pie, Snickerdoodle, Red Velvet....The frosting is stacked high and each cupcake is decorated so sweet. After my lunch (from Tako BBQ), I ordered 2 cupcakes. I could not decide which two to pick, so at the last second I went with the strawberry sweetheart and the rocky road. I take my first bite of the rocky road. The frosting is high so I have to open my mouth super wide in order to get the perfect bite. The frosting is not mega sweet (yay), but it is super soft and creamy. It is surrounded by marshmallows and slivers of nuts. The chocolate cake is super soft, and is absolutely not dry inside. Next I tried the strawberry one. It is white cake, with strawberry mousse inside topped with whipped cream and a homemade candy heart. The candy heart is a bit too sweet for me, but the whipped cream on top was yummy!!! The mousse inside was pink and very rich, but still, not incredibly sugary, it was delicious."

"Discovered Ms. Sweet Treat's while browsing the Haggin Oaks Farmers Market on a recent Sunday. They had an assortment of cupcakes, cookies, and other delicious looking baked goods for sale. Oh how I wish that I had purchased more!! The Snickerdoodle cookie that I bought was affordable and delicious!!! They do not have a storefront. Made sure to bring a brochure so I can contact them. "I really wanted to like this place. It's decorated cute on the outside. The inside is a tiny walk up counter with a kitchen behind it. After entering I really didn't want to order anything based on it being cramped , too warm, and a bit but unorganized gave it an unappealing experience. I don't want to see cardboard boxes on the floor under the shelf with merchandise for sale. Some of the cupcakes were on the counter in a container not in a refrigerated display. The frosting was too warm and sliding off the top. Still, I wanted to give them a chance. The cupcakes were not bad but lack professional finesse. I didn't finish it. I also got a roast beef sandwich. Oh gosh, where do I begin. The bread is clearly homemade, but unfortunately it was dense, doughy, and not tasty at all. I ate a few bites and tossed the rest. It was $9 sandwich. Hopefully they'll fix all the issues there. Maybe they'll get better."
