"I wanted something healthy and I was really craving some barbecue. Parking in back is plentiful but the lot can get a bit muddy when it rains. They have large smokers outside that fill the air with delicious barbecue smells that instantly hits you when you arrive. Tried the Tri-tip salad the first time and it really hit the spot. I ended up coming back just to try the chicken salad also. Both were really great. The meat to salad ratio was just about right. I would definitely come back. The smoke and flavors of the meat were really stellar and the service was friendly. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for something to satisfy your BBQ cravings."

"Norma the taco lady is incredible. The food is great and the prices are very resonable. This is the best kept secret in the greater Los Angeles area. I hired Norma (and her son) for a film shoot for a week. The cast and crew kept complimenting us on the food. Norma is extremely professional and responsive, and makes much more than just tacos (although the tacos were superb). She accoomodated vegan, gluten, almond, and soy dietary restrictions. She was also ready well ahead of schedule every day. Really, I can't speak highly enough about Norma. "Wowowowowowow!! We went to their pop up at North Hollywood's Vegan Food Festival and they asked if we wanted samples as we walked by. I was immediately hooked. Everything is vegan of course! We tried their mac n cheese, shiitake collard greens, roasted yam, and bbq tempeh. They make their own bbq sauce. The shiitake collard greens were so flavorful with some garlic and that umami shiitake flavor. The Mac n cheese was also delicious and honestly way better than real cheese. We ended up getting their soul bowl which included the Mac, collard greens, and yam. I immediately had to look them up and was shocked that they came all the way from Bakersfield. As their new follower, I can't wait till they're back in LA.The two people helping at the booth were also very friendly and informative!"

The management family owned were so amazing after having a wedding venue cancel on a couple on there wedding day !! This place stepped it up and took direction from a stranger ,pulled the wedding together and had the wedding at the Hall it self it was amazing and fun. The owners Fernando and David were amazing. Place was clean and elegant needs a little bit of an update but just taking over the buisness they still have work to do. They made everything special and professional while making it fun! I plan to brag about this place for years to come even plan to rent from this place ,security officers were so nice and did a wonderful job. Parking was a little tight but we made it work. "Mike's Tacos has actually catered at my workplace probably about 7x now and he doesn't only make tacos, but he also served quesadillas and bacon wrapped hotdogs. From my understanding, his business is in Arvin, but caters around the area.So far I have enjoyed his tacos and I have tried the chicken, carne asada and the pastor. They set up everything so you can put your taco and hotdog together. For the tacos, he has chopped onions, cilantro, lime, radishes, grilled onions, grilled peppers, and two kinds of salsa (green or red sauce). For the hotdogs he has ketchup, mayo, mustard and grilled veggies (bell pepper and onions).Everything is made fresh to order and everything is prepared quickly. I don't know the Señors name, but he's friendly and I don't know if he's the only one that runs the business, but I have not seen any other people each time he has come.Not sure on prices, but I do know the tacos are delicious. Meats are moist, tasty, and definitely something I would buy if I knew where his stand posted at. I'm not too sure if he strictly only does catering. He sets up fast so you can tell he's been doing this for awhile and when he packs up to leave, always cleans up after himself."

My aunt and uncle wanted to throw us an engagement party and Michal was the perfect planner to do so. Michal was involved in every step of the process from picking out the caterer and scheduling tastings to organizing rentals, staff, flowers, decor, etc. The weekend of our party was going to be cold but not expected to rain, so Michal suggested adding more drapery to cover the top of our dinner/dancing area and I am SO GLAD she suggested it! The night of our party, it started to sprinkle and Michal and Yosi quickly were able to help save the night by running out to get umbrellas. "My sister got married here and our family could not be happier with the venue. Jimmy and Soroor went above and beyond to help make this day as smooth and wonderful as it was. They worked with us leading up to the wedding to obtain professional vendors and made sure that we were well taken care of prior to the event so none of us had to worry about anything the day of. This allowed us to spend time with the guests and let them run the show with our trust. The day of the event, they were behind the scenes making sure everything happened when it was suppose to and never had to bother anyone for "what was suppose to happen next." Right before the ceremony, it started to drizzle and within 5 minutes, all of the guests were handed umbrellas. They asked if we should move the ceremony inside but my sister wanted to continue to do it outside and beat the rain. Luckily the storm waited until after the ceremony! In addition, as a groomsman, it was very nice that we had a room to get ready. Most venues the groomsmen need to get ready off site. This was an added bonus that we had our own room with TV's, speakers, a bar, and changing rooms.I would highly recommend this venue for any type of event that you are planning."
