"I have a 1997 BMW 328i. I've owned it for eight years. Out here in the Antelope Valley, it gets scorching hot and hot weather days are coming. The air conditioning has never worked as well as I thought it should. Last year, when I moved to this area, I really suffered while driving. I took the car into Vic's for diagnosis and repairThe problem? This cabin air filter. Had I known there was such a thing, I would have had it replaced years ago. My guess is it was never replaced. Filthy, huh? All that gunk blocked the air flow. Everything else in the a/c system is operating correctly (a bit surprising, given the car's age). The air blows like a monster now, like three times more volume. I'm ready for summer. This is an honest shop. A dishonest shop would have been able to claim there were other problems, things that would be expected in an old car. Thank you, Vic & Company!"

"I purchased parts for two of my vehicles over the phone. One, a wheel for a 2014 Ford Focus, I paid for online and picked up in person the next day. (Some parts require a core and this is one of them, I brought mine with me to avoid the core charge.) The other, a trim piece for a 2016 Honda Pilot, I had shipped to my home. I paid for it on Thursday afternoon and received it Friday. Great service, great prices. I have no experience with the dealer in any other context or capacity.My experience of buying a new car at Barber Honda was, in a word, outstanding.That said, I should clarify that 90% of the experience was due not so much to the dealership as it was to the salesperson I dealt with, Mr. Joel Valdez. But I give credit to the dealership for having such a good guy on their team.Most of my dealings with Barber and Joel occurred via the internet. I am in San Luis Obispo, and "went shopping" for a new CR-V Hybrid via email at ten Honda dealers between Clovis and Oxnard. Not only did I get the best price from Barber and Joel, but Joel was absolutely fantastic in our communications. He always answered my email questions immediately, always had or got the answers, never bs'ed me, never tried to sell me crap that I didn't want, never tried to talk me into an upgrade or a different model. We "talked" via email for over two weeks, and Joel was far and away the best person I dealt with from among those ten Honda dealers. It didn't hurt that he also offered the best price.I decided to buy my new car from Barber after two weeks of communicating with other dealers and evaluating their offers. I told them at the beginning of the two weeks that I would buy from the dealer that offered the best deal. But by the end of the two weeks I had also decided to buy from the person who was the best communicator and the easiest to work with.I told Joel that I wanted to drive the 140 miles from San Luis Obispo, sign the paperwork, and be out of there within an hour. We didn't quite make it, but were close. All the paperwork was ready and waiting for me, there were no surprises, no last-minute changes, everything was exactly as promised and expected. Joel gave me the keys and I drove home feeling great about the whole buying experience.After I got home, I realized that I had made a mistake on the loan paperwork. I sent a message to Joel explaining MY mistake, not Barber's--actually, I had changed my mind about something. He said, "No problem, we'll Fedex you new documents to sign and fix everything." This is the best and most honest BMW shop in the AVI been coming here for 2 years now and they never disappointed me. Customer service is the best. They take the time to explain everything to you so you can understand also leaves you with the best options on things to fix now and things that can wait truly a blessing to have this much honesty not out to just take your money!!

These guys do really nice work. I was having a problem with my air suspension on my Ford expedition which the dealer told me would cost over $5000 to fix. If I had known that was a potential problem, I never would've purchased the vehicle in the first place. I wanted a fix that wouldn't have to be redone, so direct Offroad was able to switch my air suspension out for springs and put a 2" lift on it. It looks better, rides better and cost a fraction of what the dealer was going to charge. Thanks!

My wife's Bolt EV was having intermittent issues with the backup camera and 360 camera system. We scheduled an appointment online and took it in. They were able to figure out the issue and made a warranty repair on it. But that was not the best part. There are so few times these days when you get great customer service. When I went to pick up my wife after she dropped off the car, they offered her a ride but I just wanted to spend some time with her, the service manager remembered me from when I took my car in previously. They were always friendly and accommodating there. There's a bigger dealership with a larger service department a lot closer to us, but that dealership's customer service made us decide to never go back. I love the people at Richland and I will definitely be going there for all of my needs. And most likely when I buy my next Chevy too. I cannot recommend Richland enough.

The service department gets 1 star. I have a 2020 bmw that I bought from them. Something is grinding every time I push on the brakes, I can feel it and hear it. I've put my car in their shop 3 times over this issue only to get my car back as if they didn't check it out. Service advisor just acts like its nothing and patronizes me. They either know what's wrong & don't care, or they're not qualified to do the work. Either way, it's unacceptable. My experience has been ruined by poor service. All I want out of this review is for someone to care. I think its too late. I'll go to Beverly Hills & have lunch while I wait. Sorry Bakersfield BMW service, I'm breaking up with u.

Recently the team at Fiat of Bakersfield helped me find a great car for a great price. They definitely went above and beyond for me and my family and I drove out of there happy as can be with my brand,spanking new, Fiat 500L. David, our sales representative, was able to give me all the information and knowledge he had on this car and answer every question I had. As a new car buyer of only 19, I am very grateful with the whole team that was involved in my car purchasing process. From David, to the people in finance, the detail team who had my car nicely cleaned for me to drive off in the shiniest, cleanest car that day, to the General Manager Alex K who made me feel like family and made sure I left as a happy customer to return in the future with a family of my own ready for a bigger better for the whole family. I definitely recommend Fiat of Bakersfield and Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep to everyone who is interested in great cars, great prices, and great customer service; this is the place to be. And let me just say, my Fiat 500L is a LOT more spacious and roomy than it looks. This car has already been to the beach with me and that is only the beginning. AVOID THESE CROOKS! They posted an engine that I purchased for $1500 on ebay. They said they didn't have the engine using a silly "the engine is not viable" excuse. Instead of immediately canceling the order they held onto my money offering an engine with 133,000 more miles for the same price. I declined their offer but they held onto my money anyway. I had to call the online marketplace to get my funds halted to stop this shady business from further unscrupulous dealings.

"Came to visit for a recall order on my vehicle, the notice had also included a free oil change on my visit which was very convenient! Jeremy Gonzalez was very nice and helpful attending me, he let me know that my oil changed coupon was expired and didn't want to get in trouble for overwriting. Luckily the manager overheard and honored my expired coupon! (Saved me $80-90!!) service didn't take as long and they reached out to me when my vehicle was ready for pick up. "i happened to be near when it was time for my 20K service on my 2021 Tacoma. i tried calling to make an appointment, i was put on hold for 50+ minutes (long enough to drive from Mojave to Ridgecrest). I hung up when i arrived in Ridgecrest before they answered. I drove by, it was pretty empty, and I was able to make an appointment for the next day. The service staff were very friendly. The service took an hour, and seemed uneventful. The cost of the service was covered by Toyota, soo i can't comment on the cost.There weren't any extras like free car wash or anything else like i have experienced at other dealers. And during covid, there were $4,000 markup on Tacoma & $3,000 on camry above MSRP."

"Accurate diagnosis, fast service, and good price. Brought my Odyssey for suspension clunking checking. Diagnosis costed way less than from another shop, and repair was done in 30 minutes. During the repairing, they found the splash guards were broken, and did the extra work of point-welding free of charge. I will definitely come back if I need suspension/brake job done in the future."

"I came here a long, long time ago. Maybe 4 years ago to get the windshield fixed of my then Corolla. I picked this location because the prices were super competitive, no other place quoted me so cheap! I didn't think twice about the quality because the owner guaranteed his work. They did an amazing job, quick service also! To this day the windshield on that Corolla is doing great.I then returned to this same location this year to get a windshield fixed on our truck. The husband called around to find a good price and stumbled upon this location. He sent me with the truck since he had to work and I was off. He said the place was super cheap and sounded great. Once I showed up I realized it was the same place I had brought my vehicle years ago! This place is great. They are always busy but you can phone in your appointment. Depending on your schedule, you can leave your vehicle with them while they work on it or sit and wait for it.Like most car service locations the waiting area isn't the most luxurious, very bland, some dirty chairs, small space but hey, maybe there emphasis isn't on how the place looks but rather on the product they sell. So I'm okay with it."
"Dont let the location fool you. It's not the best area but these young men know their stuff and seem to be here to help the customer rather than take their money. I contacted them after having an issue with my regular Benz mechanic not being able to address my concern. Not only did they fix my car issue the transmission went into limp mode but they also addressed a few other minor issues I had. they fixed it in a short period of time and I've had no issues since. They did their best to save me time and money. My latest trip was for an AC issue. the issue was fixed and the price was very fair. AC blows cold now Im very happy. I plan on taking one of my older Benz's to them for some repair and they advised they are happy to take care of me. This place is a diamond in the rough, their shop may not be in a prime area but its clean organized and I think this also helps to keep their overhead low."

I was one hour into a six hour drive at the time. They raised up my car, showed me what was wrong, gave me a 1-2 hour estimate at $150/hour. I hung around while they fixed my car. Clean restroom.
