BV Grill

Stayed here for a Harvest Host event. Great stay! Plenty of parking but this is about the food. Large well seasoned patties, bacon, LTO and crispy crunchy fries, including a drink. Wife had Ortega burger that was great as well. We were pleasantly pleased! Give them a try!

We came here today at 3 p.m. for their burgers, traveling from Bakersfield. I checked the hours before we showed up, so I was excited to see it reflected 4:30 p.m. closing. My husband, son and I showed up and was told by the employee that she had just cleaned the grill and if we were looking for burgers she would not be able to service us. We asked why the hours reflect 4:30 p.m. if that was the case and she said she choses to close the grill down when it is slow. Although here you have three paying customers willing to give you $12 per burger, we were still denied. I dont understand why you wouldn't take the money when it is "slow" when it is business for you. Considering the fact it would pay three hours for your minimum wage employee. She did offer to make chicken strips for us because she had yet to shut down the fryer. That is like walking into a dealership looking to purchase a luxury sports car and walking out with a damn mini van. When we previously came here the owner was amazing and we definitely wanted to come back and give her our business. Unfortunately at this point I'd opt for no stars because I think customer service is EVERYTHING. So I'd like to tell everyone how great the food was this time, but unfortunately I didnt get to try it. I won't be back and I used to refer my friend that work at Taft to always come here, but I won't be doing that anymore.

Good food for a small grill type place right on the golf course. Been there for work lunch on a few occasions and have had a good experience every time. Can be a little slow to get food when busy, because there are only 2 workers going but they hustle. Would recommend a quick bite and maybe a beer or two before, during or after a round of golf. Will return.
