Ordered avocado toast. No one else was in there, took 15 minutes and the sunny side up egg must have been cooking the entire 15 minutes. It was completely rubbery and not even close to runny. As for service and ambiance: you order yourself and the tv rattles the wall and makes annoying noise. I wouldn't mind those if they hadn't given me way overcooked order. There is NO WAY they couldn't have seen how overcooked it was. So I figured there's no point in complaining, I tossed it and left.

A most appropriately named burger joint in an industrial section just off the SR-99 on E. North Avenue that is getting rave reviews about its juicy, butter-toasted burgers and chicken sandwiches. A fresh, juicy beef patty served on a buttered toasted potato bun. This is always a terrific, winning concept especially if the beef is fresh and great quality as it is here. What is so special about swapping out the usual [white] hamburger bun with a potato bun? The potato bun has the same fluffy, airy texture as plain white hamburger buns but has a slightly sweet, potato taste to it. So, they taste wonderful when lightly toasted and buttered as they are served here. Plus, potato bread is healthier for you too because potato flour has more potassium and dietary fiber than regular flour. In actuality, the taste of a potato bun on a burger is very neutral but makes the burger feel lighter and pillow-soft. This makes the burgers extra special and even more appealing I think. The Chipotle Burger, $9.88, is made with house sauce, grilled onions, cheese, and jalapeno peppers. There was just enough heat from the peppers and that classic combination of cheese and jalapenos always goes together so well with meat. But my favorite is the Classic Burger, $9.88, which is made with house sauce, cheese, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. I added some bacon to mine. I love a great no-frills bacon cheeseburger. I thought the beef patty was well-seasoned although a tad salty. The meat was so fresh and juicy, however, and I would come back time and again for the Classic Burger. The prices for the burgers alone are around $10, which is extremely reasonable nowadays for what you are getting. They also serve chicken sandwiches on potato buns and classic sandwiches on ciabatta rolls, in addition to a breakfast menu that consists of breakfast bagels, muffins, burritos, and avocado toast. The fries are shoestring style, well-seasoned, and fried extra crispy.Only the freshest quality ingredients are used and everything is made to order so expect to tack on a few extra minutes to your wait from what you would expect from a typical fast-food burger place where many of the menu items are pre-made. For take-out orders, they will pack it in an eco-friendly bagasse blend take-out container to keep the burger or sandwich intact and the juices from seeping and spilling into the bag.So far, a big 4.5 stars for me.I am not ready to supplant my favorite burger joint in Fresno with Buttery Buns as the top spot but they have competition now. It does deserve to be mentioned in the conversations of the best burgers in the Central Valley I have tried so far.

Went today for lunch. And got the butter chicken sandwich. I got mine with no onions so it just the sauce and chicken. The chicken was cooked to order. Hot when it came out. Juicy. The bun was super soft. Not amazing but a good sandwich. It was about $15 for the combo. With fries and a soda. The fries were delish. Reminded me of doghouse fries. Good seasoning. They have Pepsi products for drinks. Huge dining area with music playing. The workers brought the food out to us and were friendly.

We came here for lunch and took our food to-go, about a 10-minute drive to our destination. The inside had multiple tables, about 10-15, and then it was shared with another eatery that serves Mediterranean food. Definitely a casual feel where you order, take your food and then have a seat at one of the tables. Seems like there was plenty of seating. The sandwiches were all really good - we ordered the Nashville chicken, a cheeseburger, and the western burger. They were all standard and tasted well made on potato buns. However, the fries did not keep well during the drive at all. They actually were so mushy we didn't even finish one of the bags of fries. They tasted like they had been sitting out for awhile. Which was confusing to me because they packed the fries last. It was also annoying because when I called about my order they said it would take 10-15 minutes but when I got there 20 minutes later, I still had to wait about 5-10 minutes. Since the burgers and sandwiches were solid though, I would say they are a good place for eating in. But the fact that the fries were soggy means that they need to figure out their fries better. One meal, a side of fries, and three sandwiches cost about $40, so it is on the more steep side.

A little disappointed. I waited for my sandwich for some time. An employee came out and asked what was my order. The employee stated, "we'll get that started."15 minutes later I received the sandwich. The chicken tasted undercooked. Threw sandwich away.

Back home for the weekend, my brother and I decided to grab some food before heading back to LA. This shop is secluded from the main part of the city but not hard to find. On a Sunday morning it was pretty empty, but the service was still great. It was well upkept and shared its space with another restaurant. I ordered the California classic sandwich and got our order fairly quickly and it was worth the wait. It was a packed Sandwich that hearty and fulfilling. They also have an array of breakfast sandwiches and burgers. This is a great alternative to any chain sandwich place and could be cheaper. I definitely recommend if looking for a quick bite!

This is a small hole in the wall. I think it is family run. I ordered avocado toast. It promptly came and was delicious. My wife ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. It took a long time to come out ( the place was not busy), but she said it was the best chicken sandwich she had ever had. So, one star down for the slow service. 9

First time here. Did a call in order. One Sandwich. Combo fries. Traveled about 12 minutes to pick up my order. Place is very clean. It was lunch time so there were about 15 people eating. You walk in and it's 2 different businesses sharing one eating area. Was greeted by a young Indian woman. She was very polite. Then another employee came out from the back and started telling people in the cooking area. "Did you get the order " she looked at me and said, "no one is listening to me. I'm clocking out and leaving." I totally get it. It was lunch time. Super busy. But I'm new here so. I totally wasn't expecting that to happen. Waited about 5 minutes. My order was not ready. French fries are crispy and fresh. No salt. And I ordered the pesto Turkey sandwich. It was ok. It was just a Turkey sandwich with pesto. I would definitely give this place another chance. If I'mIn the area.

Buttery buns is a nice eatery that is conveniently located to where I work in town. The food is very good especially for the cost. The service is mostly self service so I don't particularly care for that aspect. A lot of tables were dirty and needing to be cleaned. Made finding a spot to eat probably harder than it should have been.

New Place on North and Orange. They sell sandwiches and burgers. The service was great. We were greeted and welcomed in. The noise level is average. Very spacious to dine in. I ordered the California Sandwich, the bun was soft and perfect toasted. The bread was not hard. Meat to bun ratio was perfect as well, it has a good amount of meat. The avocado was perfectly place. It was a big sandwich and the veggie ingredients were fresh, which is always a plus in my book. I hate the bagged shredded lettuce. I would say this is comparable to Sam's Italian Deil, the only difference is the bread. The Nashville chicken sandwich was fresh, crispy, flavorful and juicy. I like how the chicken sandwich felt like it was flattened where it covers the entire bread getting evenly meat and bread in each bite; compared to other chicken sandwiches where they use tender pieces and it doesn't cover the entire bread. I would recommend to family and friends 10/10 you must try.
