Somewhat conveniently located shiesty little market in the desert....whats not to love?

The clerk called Maria needs a course in people skills! I brought a check in to be cashed like I have many times before but this time the owner wasn't in.. Maria took the check to the office and came right back saying the phone number to verify it was disconnected. I went to my car and called the number myself and it answered right away.. I went back in and told her that the number was not disconnected but told me to take it to the bank and that she wasnt gonna help me.. I took it to alvord market where they cashed it with out any trouble.. because of her I'll now being buying my gas in inyokern.

Buttermilk Acres is our go-to market, liquor store, & gas. We live in a small rural n town & it's close. Also, great variety & Iove the gal that works at night!!

Rude, insulting, crummy.. go just a few miles further to Ridgecrest or inyokern for gas or grocery.
