I literally go outta my way when traveling between SoCal and NorCal just to get one of these biscuits. They're so good and thiccccc--you can taste the butter in them. I recommend the Southern Comfort with sausage and a side of gravy, plus a Honey Bee with two strawberry jellies (they actually make their own jelly, which is super impressive). The guy at the front was really sweet and even snuck in a free extra sandwich for my drive, so big shoutout to them. If you come on a weekend, expect to wait about 10-20 mins, but it's so worth it.Oh, and make sure you have some water or a drink... or you'll be looking like my last pic

I'm always on the lookout for new and different breakfast spots, especially local gems that aren't part of a big chain. This place caught my eye, and while I didn't research whether it was locally owned, it definitely had that independent vibe.I ordered the Mud on the Tires--a large biscuit cut in half, smothered in sausage gravy, and topped with chopped bacon. The food was good, but maybe I went in with higher expectations than I should have. It wasn't bad by any means, just not quite as impressive as I had hoped. The service, however, was top-notch--super friendly and welcoming. The interior had a great look and a comfortable atmosphere, which made for an overall enjoyable experience.Since I live in Lemoore, it's a bit of a drive to get here. I'd come back, but I'd probably explore other spots first before making a second visit. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area and craving a hearty breakfast!

Butter+MilkBiscuit Bat in Visalia is a very popular restaurant in both eat in and take out service.Counter ordering and table delivery for eat in. Pour your own coffee. Our counter person, Colson, was extremely helpful and friendly. He deserves a raise. After two visits here over the past 10 months or so, I have concluded it will be our number one go to breakfast spot when we are in Visalia.Today, my wife and I split the Portuguese Burrito. It was plenty for us both. Served with I nice spicy salsa and a couple of hot sauces available on the table, it made a delightfully delicious meal price was good - $14.25 - for the huge burrito.Ambiance is kind of coffee shop modern. It does lack that relaxed comfortable feeling, but the food makes up for it.Try it - you'll like it!!

I've gone to their sister restaurant Beachin Biscuits several times so when I heard about Butter + Milk, I had to take the drive to try it. Their menus are pretty much the same. This time I tried the Pablo breakfast tacos and the honey bee which is just a biscuit with your choice of jam or honey butter. Of course I got the honey butter to go with it. The biscuits are huge and always perfectly soft inside. The Pablo was good but a bit on the greasy side. The side of gravy that comes with it definitely enhances the flavor of the tacos. I also tried an iced vanilla latte which was perfect. The service was good. If you are planning on eating there, it is self seating and the inside is pretty small with limited tables. There's a few tables to sit outside too.

Absolutely BEST B&G you'll find in the Central Valley! These Biscuits are a Can't Miss! Get the Homemade Jam and the Honey Butter and spread em both on your Biscuit. I wasn't going to get anything and split the biscuit with Jess, kind of glad I didn't. cause we wound up sharing the Hunky Dorey also, which was Sooo Good! Can't go wrong with eggs, cheese, biscuit and gravy! Pro Tip: they do several variations of eggs. Best choice though, in my opinion; soft scramble. That's amazing they offer that! Not a lot of places advertise it nor have it on the menu. My only quarrel with this already amazing place is the prices. 50 bucks for two people for a pick up order is expensive to me. Especially for B&G. But I personally am not a breakfast person nor is my "go-to" Biscuits and Gravy. So that's a lot of where my hesitation for paying that much on breakfast comes from. But after having it a few times now. I can say that I was wrong. It's worth it when want a really good breakfast. It's not a big spot, it has a lot of outside seating. It's better to grab and go. But if you live far like we do, it can affect the fresh hot flavors you'll get if you just stay and eat there. But aside from that, the crew is super friendly, very nice and helpful. The guy today came around the counter to bring my order to me. That's service you don't see anymore! Add in how amazing the food is and you've got yourself a prime breakfast spot! If they ever add corned beef and hash I would absolutely lose it! Take my money! Kind of moment. Still don't appreciate paying 9 bucks for 4 pieces of bacon. But give and take. Appreciate all the good this place offers every time. It's worth it. Definitely come here!

This is a cool little spot for breakfast...especially if you're craving a delicious homemade biscuit or something a little bit more. There was a little line and a little wait; but both went pretty fast. We ordered the tires in the mud ... everything with bacon is delicious. Hearty and filling. Hunky Dory has fluffy eggs and cheese ... which is great when you want that extra protein. Must say the portions are pretty good size; easily shareable. The biscuits were my favorite; fluffy and thick. My only complaint is that wish there was more outdoor seating. Tables get filled quickly.

Butter + Milk Biscuit Bar specializes in southern home style breakfast. We were fortunate to find it on our visit to Visalia thanks to Yelp and the cafe's high ratings. We ordered at the counter and settled down at a table outside, and our server was kind enough to bring our breakfast to us. We started our meal with coffee and bacon. My daughter ordered the Boardwalk Bites described as "Mini Biscuits Rolled In Butter & Covered With Cinnamon Sugar". I tried one and I can taste why Butter + Milk is known for its biscuits, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. My wife and I split the Portuguese Rivera, a breakfast burrito with ingredients such as scrambled eggs, cheese, southern fried potatoes and linguica. The burrito was a legit size and enough to feed two. It def hit the spot, but we only wished they included more of the Portuguese sausage. This spot is popular and has received high ratings for a reason, so come see for yourself!

This is a really small spot! I found this place through Yelp because we needed a breakfast spot waiting for our power to turn back on since we live on base and they do this regularly. T'was a good find, because this place is very good! When you order, you still receive everything like you're "ordering to go" , which might be convenient considering the biscuits are pretty large. There is limited seating, so if you want to eat there maybe plan ahead. This place gets pretty busy. Not good for large groups. Staff is nice, bathroom is clean- there's only one, but good enough. My husband enjoyed all the fixins burrito and I enjoyed the Pablo! Our son had the French toast and devoured that! Will come back for sure! Hidden gem in Visalia!
